Man I've been ledge fishing with underspins for 8yrs now. I toss some small ones but I like to toss the big ones too. I tell ya if they won't bite anything else they will bite an underspin.
I hope WARBAITS watches this video because maybe they can see that their blade doesn't rotate very much. It does not start turning until the lure is halfway back to the boat!!! Bad choice for the under spin head!!!
I think it’s a personal preference. I tend to be a heavier rod guy with bigger line. It works for me. I RARELY miss or drop fish. And these pro guys could probably attach a Zebco 33 to a mop handle and smoke any average guy.
Yeah. He’s only one of the greatest fisherman to ever be on the circuit. So he doesn’t know what he’s doing. I really doubt he cares if his reel breaks.

Did he ever actually describe when you want to use an underspin, and when you dont want to use one? I listened twice and dont hear the statement made.

I'm surprised to hear heavy rod and 20lb flouro, I usually go 12-15 and a med hvy rod. Obviously he knows better than me tho...
