Get a brace for carpal tunnel to wear to bed. Helps keep your wrist straight overnight. No more numb hand for me in the morning.

Best video of this kind I’ve seen. I’m a piano player who not long ago was really afraid and depressed about my carpal tunnel syndrome. I was afraid I was going to have to give up playing or play a lot less than I would like. Fortunately, I discovered that exercises like the ones shown in this video really do help a lot. Do NOT go for surgery until you have tried all of these exercises. Also, don’t neglect what the doctor says at the end-your overall health matters, too. I started walking 5 times a week a few months ago, and it has really helped. I feel better, I’ve lost a few pounds, I’m sleeping better-and I’m convinced that all of that has helped reduce my CTS discomfort.

I saw a neurologist for a CTS nerve test a week ago, he injected two needles, one on each wrist and said I have moderate CTS on my left hand and severe CTS on my right hand. He told me to come back in two months and if it doesn't improve, he will need to do surgery. I'm terrified of surgery. My CTS has less pain but more numbness. It improved a little after putting on wrist braces every night and doing these exercises. I'm going to do these exercises daily and hope in two months the results will be that I don't need surgery. Thank you for doing this video and giving me hope.

I will share a warning about quick diagnosis of carpal tunnel while not looking at other conditions….I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome and had release surgery …. It turned out that the numbing of my hand/arm was a warning of what came to the forefront 9 months later. I was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis and fibromyalgia. Make sure to talk with a spine and pain doctor before agreeing to surgery..

I just started working in a car manufacturing plant about a month ago (with power tools and lots of repetitive hand/arm movements), and about a week ago started showing symptoms in my hand of CTS or something. I went to urgent care today and it seems pretty consistent with CTS and the median nerve according to the doctor, without running nerve tests (waiting on referral). These exercises look helpful. I'm icing my hand in a brace right now but will try soon. I tried it on my other hand (which is also starting to show signs just not as bad yet as my right hand). I now rely on my hands for work and repetitive tasks, so sometimes it activates CTS for people that have never before experienced it.

do u live in the usa make contact with mario at shen martial arts you want a bottle of brian grays dit da jow ,its for external purposes only and can only be applied on unbroken skin, put 2 capfuls on your wrist and gently massage it in for a few seconds then stop, the dit da jow will soak through the skin reach the injury and heal it,the thing with brian grays dit da jow in seconds it will go hot or cold if it does that its healing ,it heals fast, if it does nothing it cant help,i have seen it overtturn carpel tunnell injuries in minutes,it doesnot seem to be a difficult injury to treat, its the nature of the injury thats the problem you cant get western medicine to the injury to heal it,thats where dit da jow shines good luck it wont cost much to try, most i know have gota fast result,i know people who couldnot train for years,in minutes the injury was healed

Excellent, thanks a lot, that really helps me.
You have to look at the exercises many times until you get them all down. You can also cyclically spread all fingers and back again with your hands.🤠

Wow I've noticed a big difference in my hands after these exercises.
Basically just move your hand fingers around as much as possible

This was a nicely paced and detailed video. Could you do something similar for cubital tunnel syndrome?

The stretches using my shoulder created significant pain in my shoulders. My right shoulder has 2 torn rotator cuffs. I can't tell any relief to my wrists doing the shoulder rotating. The other stretches felt great.....
