I know this is from 2 years ago lol but Ive been working at my local discount tire too for 9 months now and I figured why not watch a video on changing tires just to see the differences😂 from azk_01
that was cool, we started doing tires at our shop and im the tire guy, so far so good, picked up a couple tips here. im down to a 3 minute tire but i want to get faster, we dont balance, we just toss in a bag of equal and let science do its work. i could do tires all day and be happy. thanks for the vid
So after 10 years of being a tire tech I have never once had "Rim slip" from lubing the wrong part of the bead. Once the tire is on and aired up I'm not sure that is even a thing. But it is interesting that he ignored the red dot that indicates the low point on that new tire, rather than line it up with the valve stem like he should have. Idk maybe I'm a little bit too critical. Edit: If you have a rim that has a significant bend in it, its usually best to rotate that rim to the passenger side rear (right rear) of the vehicle. You'll feel it a lot less while driving.
It doesn't make that much of a diffrence. They are typically only about 5 of an oz off so it's not worth the time since you have to do a road force ballance
I work at my local discount tire, interesting to see the differences of an independent shop

yeah it was cringey not seeing him replace the valve stem lol or buff the back of the wheel
Na of your able to talk that comfy about tires? Then why not work for yourselves?
@@nine2woah766I never changed them unless they didn't have a sensor. That's how we did it but I guess if you wanna take the time to do it you could

3 Minuten 😢 > Ziel ist nicht wie schnell, sondern wie Materialschonend wird Montiert
the leaning tower of tires on the shelf in the back gives me anxiety lol
I do this job. Very well, but I don't remove the tyres from good rims. Only the professional ones

I just bought some nexen for my Z
What school u going for that......
A pity mine were only smooth on outer side and hade to replace what a waste
You have an assist arm at the machine. Use him for those low profile tyres! Otherwise damage is programmed.
Not sure if those marks were on your wheel before or them mounting it caused it
No marks were left on the wheels, the lube will gunk up a little and I got it right off with a rag
You should do one with express wheels they the best
I keep losing the tape on weights
More labor intense than thought
That my father works at, more is my father
I don’t understand why they can’t hire more people you wait hours at Costco or anywhere
Amen he credited Jesus with his success
The father and sons voices are so high pitched
Ivan Mendoza its all tge tire helium
He didn’t even line up the dot on the side wall with the valve stem smh

You wrong want to know why my family works there so stop judging
why not balance the inside of the wheel, that is not an accurate balance
it didn't need any weight on the inside of the wheel
Yes it is. Usually small wheels like that don't need much weight
Faster cheaper super
I watched 30 secs the bass was so loud I left
