    bought the book "Gambling For Life " on the back of this interview , I find Harry Findlay an inspiration ....and yes , there should be a movie based on his life story and yes , he should be on TV racing coverage , that would be epic !!

      harry lost £2.7 million in 2007 on new zealand to win rugby world cup. they lost in the quarter final v france. he never mentioned that one did he. 😕

    The not caring about losing it all is something he has in common with top poker players, how they can cope with the financial roller coaster is beyond me, I get depressed if I drop 20 quid on something

      They see the bigger picture do not dwell on losses .do not give in relentless and gutsy plus the fact they seemingly have endless resources or a good ma too borrow a quick grand off,whatever it requires balls....If you get depressed over 20 quid drop is gambling for you.? just saying...

      He means he was an unders man...usually slightly better prices for under 2.5 than over 2.5 goals. He believed that unders/overs was close to evenly split and so wanted to get 11/10 instead of 10/11

    Findlay is fascinating but he does divert from a subject and cuts himself off constantly. The American boy is a nice guy but nigh on useless as an interviewer. Could do with someone far more engaging.
