Very cool. I live in Indiana. My son lives in Chicago, North, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. I told him for Mothers Day I want him to take me to O'Hare so I can sit and watch the planes. Thanks for your videos .
Thanks for the watch and note. I would recommend spotting at Wally Park Chicago on Scott st which runs right by it. The area is quite good for views of big jets landing on 28C-28R at O'Hare. Look for it on Google Maps.
Thnx for the watch, man! I do love ORD very much but i would have to say that LAX, JFK and several others around the world do better but O'Hare does know how to rock it for sure.
You got the best video's Jay, because you have a great front row seat to video from. Chicago O'Hare Int'l Airport to me is the best airport in the world, and like wise Jay your the right man for the job for bringing it to life for us all. Thanks again Jay.
This is simply an amazing vid that you took at one of the world's busiest airports. I've been at Chicago O'Hare plenty of times in my life, including sitting in a 767 when a thunder storm hit in Aug. 1994. There were at least 25 other jets lined up on the taxiways leading to a couple of runways when the air traffic control tower shut down all dept. and arrivals. The pilot of our AA jet simply shut down the engines as we sat on the runway for about an hour. The last time I was at O'Hare was in Oct. 2012 coming back overnight, (on a Boeing 777) from Honolulu Intl, and then a few hours layover before heading home. Just as the jets landing in this vid, we came in from the west landing on runway 14R arriving at around 9 am at O'Hare. Your sir have a new subscriber!! Again you have filmed a superlative vid, and thanks for sharing!T
Jay's Aviation & Plane Spotting We can tell why you love ORD so much, lots of different aircraft types, plenty of planes to see and film takeoff/land and the scenery is just magnificent. Keep doing the excellent work Jay
Hey Man, great video! Thanks for sharing :-) I have to replay the landing of the ANA triple 7 again and again, what a majestic view! But i think that is what keeps you warm from inside on a cold winter planespotting day :-D. Warm regards from Mannheim, Germany.
Brilliant idea to take video atop a snow pile! Seems like the way this winter went, you could also have taken videos of planes landing atop snow piles ;-)
Ahh! Great video! The winter lighting is perfect, makes it seem like the HX200V is a professional DSLR, as if the Sony had any cons! What can be better than eating raspberries on a Sunday night with Jay's 1080p quality HX200V aircraft videos? Nothing!
Selim Eylül haha! Thanx, bro. I love sharing aviation whenever I can and this YT channel certainly helps me accomplish that goal even more. Happy watching and happy spotting!
Very nice as always...see that your spotting location is or has melted. Bummer. :( At least all that snow had a good use. :) One of the few good uses I can think of...
Those are some great sightings! I live underneath the ILS localizer of runway 14L where aircraft are usually 1000ft high so I get a nice view of aircraft, especially early afternoon where international flights are inbound. So far I've had an ANA 787 and LOT 787 come by a few times, it's a nice sight
Jay's Aviation & Plane Spotting Awesomeness that you now pass 6000 subscribers hmmmmm, must be ineradicable to try and keep track of everyone, be sure i will always update you on my side :) !!!!, My Caribbean Collaboration part 2 is in the work :) !!!!! the hype is on !!!!
Nice video Jay. I've been wanting to catch some East flow action, but with working overnight, it's not always easy. Glad to see you took advantage of it.
Great 30 minutes of filming work Jay! I liked that Frontier a lot!! The rest also of course :). I wish I could see more of these planes here at Brussels :/ . Gave it a like of course :)
I like whatever you can film there at Brussels. It's a great airport and I'm happy ORD has service there. Thanks for stoppin' by and have a great week.
Heh great to hear :) Every time I go to do some early morning spotting I try to get the flight from O'Hare :) Some times I catch him, sometimes not :) And about that stopping by...with pleasure :) have a good week as well :)
The King of ORD returns with another awesome compilation of his airport's epic traffic. AWESOME! Superb shots my friend, nicely done :) Keep up the phenomenal work.
It is available... however I did shoot this video perched on top of a large 15ft. tall snow pile. It is now melting which will make seeing over the fence for clear views like this pretty hard. But sure! Would be cool to have you!
Noah S. Edmonton has a nice airport I have flown into it a couple of times. I am sure I saw 767 777 and a A-330 at the same time. Now it wasn't in the winter so I am sure I didn't have snow blindness. Come visit us in Chicago. We do have a rather good hockey team to watch if you come in the winter. In the summer well the baseball in town is as bad as the hockey is good.
Ha Ha!! Many thanks to that 15 foot pile of snow (and the cold, snowy winter in Chicago as well) for providing you with this great vantage point, and many thanks to you for climbing said hill, enduring the cold and filming these beautiful scenes for all of us to enjoy! Great views and great job as usual! Oh, and just to verify, the runway closest to you is the brand new one (10C), right?
Very very nice plane spotting video! I'd love to do plane spotting... But i'm still a bit young. But soon i will make a whole channel of beautiful planes! Once again, this is a great video!
I love the AA B737-800 and B777-200ER landings. That's all I care about. But you got a great collection of many others. The -8F's take off rolls are so graceful. The Copa Airlines B737-800's are pretty cool too. I know a pilot who flies their E-190's. He is going to get type rated and start flying the B737NG's with in the next few months. Today I saw the ANA Star Alliance B777-300ER on the 22L approach. I'm sure that makes you jealous. Along with that: Emirates, Korean Airlines, and Air France A380's, I saw those too. Well done O'Hare. These 30 min. ones are great. I appreciate all of the work you do.
"tracked".lol . It was at 500 feet when I saw it. This is off topic.. But when you get a chance to see the AA A321T, I guarantee you will mix it up with a B757 when looking at it from a distance. They look so similar. The only distinct difference is the livery at the moment.
American Airlines B777-300ER lol. Is that a challenge? In my next video I dare you to find the American Airlines Airbus A319 I filmed. Bet you won't find it. ;)
They will need to expand their terminals space first but after they do that it is a good possibility. The airport certainly has runways that are strong enough.
incredibile spotting point !! wow I love this video.. 30 minutes of awesomeness! without fence everything it's nicer ! :) bravo! greetings from Rome, ciao ciao
Hi! First of all, great vid! The 747 were plain amazing... I am planning to go to Chicago the 15th of October, and I will not have a car. Do you know which spotting places at O'Hare are accesible without a car? Also, where was the video shot from? Thanks in advance, and once again, great vid!!
Thanks, mate. Spotting from the terminal itself is always really good depending on which airline you will fly in on. I am assuming you live in Spain and will fly Iberia in? The Int'l Terminal 5 is excellent I hear. There's not a lot of places that are accessible without driving a good distance. I hope you have a good time here in Chicago! jay
Jay's O'Hare Aviation & HD Plane Spotting Hi! Thanks for the rapid response to the comment ;) No, I'm not travelling with Iberia as I am stopping in Canada first. I would probably fly with Porter Airlines (to Midway), I asume there's a bus or something connecting the two airports? Thanks for your help!
This location was previously for use via invitation from the owners for the ORD Airport Watch group. They graciously extended the invitation to us and assumed all would go well. It did for a while but people who are unfamiliar with the Airport Watch group didn't realize that we alone had special permission for the time-being. Once videos and pictures of this place started to become popular and common on the internet some folks who weren't supposed to be there (weren't invited) vandalized and littered excessively so now the entire area is off-limits to everyone except employees.
10L and 10C? I thought there was only rwy 10? And could you Jay, or someone else tell me where he is? Im thinking of coming to ORD to go spotting, and don't have a clue where to start.
hey there! ORD now has two runways with the number 10 and a third that is being built and will likely become operational this year. As for this location? This location was previously for use via invitation from the owners for the ORD Airport Watch group. They graciously extended the invitation to us and assumed all would go well. It did for a while but people who are unfamiliar with the Airport Watch group didn't realize that we alone had special permission for the time-being. Once videos and pictures of this place started to become popular and common on the internet some folks who weren't supposed to be there (weren't invited) vandalized and littered excessively so now the entire area is off-limits to everyone except employees. I would recommend spotting over at Wally Park Chicago on the east side of ORD. Search for it on Google and i'm sure you'll find it. We are welcome there as far as I can tell so long as we treat the property with respect and follow marked signs and such. Good luck, man! Chicago O'Hare's traffic variety is one of the best in the world, and even though spotting can be tough, if you find the places you are allowed to go it can be aviation heaven. -Jay

To Jay, I hope you read this. All my life I told my friends, If I could I would spend days at the end of a runway. They think I'm nuts. Now I have a comp. again and have discovered I am not alone. Your video's are the best I've found. also very high quality. Yours is the ONLY site I have subscribed to. Please keep me informed of all that you have or anything new that you have. Let me know if you would like my e-mail address. ok? A very grateful, new plane spotter. Walter
Thanks very much, Walter! I read each and every comment that comes my way and try to respond promptly. Very glad to hear that you like my channel! There are many, many more of us "crazy" people who love to watch airplanes and enjoy flight just for the sake of it. I try to make new videos when I can, my schedule is currently very busy with college and work but I do plan to make many more videos. Thnx for subscribing! I refuse to call those who love my channel "fans" and prefer "friends" :)
The definition of plane spotting , absolutely lovley
+Homer Him Thanks for watching! I had lots of fun making this one.
Very cool. I live in Indiana. My son lives in Chicago, North, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. I told him for Mothers Day I want him to take me to O'Hare so I can sit and watch the planes. Thanks for your videos .

That Cathay Pacific 747 was amazing
Thanks! very glad I could get a shot of it.
This wind direction offers spectacular views at this location. Just breathtaking. :-)
Thanks! I love it! got some more crosswind action today.
ORD is definitely the BOSS of airports on this planet.
Thnx for the watch, man! I do love ORD very much but i would have to say that LAX, JFK and several others around the world do better but O'Hare does know how to rock it for sure.
East flow is a good change of pace, especially in the morning. You get some good shots. The Korean 77W landing was the best one.
I agree. Really? I certainly liked it but I was worried it was too shaky with the wind and all. Glad to hear your opinion.
Just got my daily plane spotting fix from Jay's long video, thanks for posting!!!
Always happy to help out! Thanks.
Fabulous footage!!!!! You're lucky to be close to a busy airport. Nothing comes close except maybe LHR.
I am indeed very lucky. Thanks for watching! i try to film as often as I can.
Homework what homework im enjoying an awesome 30min break watching planes cant think of a better way to spend my time awesome video!!!!
lol! I always like to give you an excuse.
Great video. I always love your work!
I always love when you comment!
Nice spotting Jay; as usual great traffic, great diversity of airlines, and nice light effect with the snow ! liked!!
Thanks, DoubleDude! ;)
You got the best video's Jay, because you have a great front row seat to video from. Chicago O'Hare Int'l Airport to me is the best airport in the world, and like wise Jay your the right man for the job for bringing it to life for us all. Thanks again Jay.
I wish i had more time to go get videos but as it is i do my best. :) THNX!
What awesome east flow action!! Epic! On to the west flow...
Thanks, PVD!!
amazing crazy how they are so big and have enough power to fly

Super HD Video thanks.
Thanks! :)
Hey Man, great video! Thanks for sharing :-) I have to replay the landing of the ANA triple 7 again and again, what a majestic view! But i think that is what keeps you warm from inside on a cold winter planespotting day :-D. Warm regards from Mannheim, Germany.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoy :) Hello from C H I C A G O !!
WOW! Always astonished at your complications! So many great heavies, real nice focus on the 777s and the rest, LIKED A LOT :))
Thanks so much! I love making videos like this.
Great job filming!
THNX, man!
Brilliant idea to take video atop a snow pile! Seems like the way this winter went, you could also have taken videos of planes landing atop snow piles ;-)
lol!! XD yes, a winter of opportunity.
Very Awesome Video! Extreme big like!
perfection. wonderful video. like that location. thank you for your hard work jay
Thanks, Evan!
I want to see snowfree videos! :-D
Fantastic compilation!
lol! warm WX would be nice. We got more snow in the forecast though...
Ahh! Great video! The winter lighting is perfect, makes it seem like the HX200V is a professional DSLR, as if the Sony had any cons! What can be better than eating raspberries on a Sunday night with Jay's 1080p quality HX200V aircraft videos? Nothing!

O'HareAviation Plane Spotting HD Thanks bro!
Awesome jay!! Love seeing plane spotting compilations. Looks like O'hare gets a good variety of traffic :)
Thanks. yep! people have been asking for more video of the regular regional and mainline traffic so I figured I'd include some.
Btw good shots! The 747 is amazing!
Lovely video my friend!
Thanks for watching, O great one! ;)
Pvdfdsdçbs8
nice 747's approach & landings. Clear shots, given the fact you were in a outer airport area.
Nice footage as always man!! How i wish my home airport allows such close proximity shooting
maybe you should come planespot with me here sometime. :) This was a limited-time-only deal because the snow pile melted soon after this.
Also you got a great clip of the FedEx DC-10!!!
one of my favorites!
This is awesome! Love how it is so up close.
I am glad I capitalized on this snow-pile chance while i could. I have one more video like this scheduled for upload soon.
Jay's Aviation & Plane Spotting Awesome! Can't wait to see it!
Nice! Loved the DC-10, and the Atlas 747 from my home airport, Miami!! :D

Jay's Aviation & Plane Spotting Your welcome!
Nice video Jay. I've been wanting to catch some East flow action, but with working overnight, it's not always easy. Glad to see you took advantage of it.
Thanks! glad i could so you can see it too. Too bad the snow pile melted... :(
(the irony of wishing winter would stick around, wow.).
Great camera work. Nicely done!
Thanks!
Nice Vid. I am sure it was cold out there. Thanks for your effort
Thanks, PIC. :) was very cold but certainly worth it.

Great 30 minutes of filming work Jay! I liked that Frontier a lot!! The rest also of course :). I wish I could see more of these planes here at Brussels :/ .

+luiskurt206 THANKS! ;)
very nice done jay as always keep up the great work well done
thanks for watching!
Awesome location ! Wasn't there a fence ? Really love all the different aircraft you (and we ) get to see from your vids !!!
There was a fence but I magically made it disappear. ;) Actually, I filmed all of this from the top of a 15 ft. tall snow pile.
I can't do that in Florida though :D
Always great videos, and I really liked the traffic mix in this one! Liked, and thanks for sharing!!
Sweet! Nice catch on that Delta Boeing 717. I'd like to check out this spot someday if it is publicly accessible.
It is available... however I did shoot this video perched on top of a large 15ft. tall snow pile. It is now melting which will make seeing over the fence for clear views like this pretty hard. But sure! Would be cool to have you!

That's why i love filming them! Thanks for watching.
welcome to Edmonton INTL, where you see a put put plane every 15 minutes and every week a 777

Great views and great job as usual! Oh, and just to verify, the runway closest to you is the brand new one (10C), right?
Thanks! Someone had to do it ;) yes, the closest runway is indeed 10C-28C.
Very very nice plane spotting video! I'd love to do plane spotting... But i'm still a bit young. But soon i will make a whole channel of beautiful planes! Once again, this is a great video!
+LazyPillow AJ THNX for watching! I know you will. Subbed ;) Keep those dreams going.
Oh wow, thank you so much! And no problem at all ;D
very good!!
Nice vid. Seems like it was a very cold day. Temps might've been in the lower teens or single digits.
Thanks 4 watching and yes, wind chill in the negatives if I remember correctly.

Oh and BTW that first UA 737 landing almost seemed like it had a tail strike.
I have been to Wally's to spot, it is amazing!! where did you take these? BTW, Great video!
ขอบคุณครับ
Great!
Just now found this video XD isn't East Flow when arrivals come in on the 28's/27's and West Flow is when they arrive on the 10's and 9's?
AS Aviation East flow goes east. Landing on 9-10 is east flow. West flow is landing to the west .... so 27-28
Lovely video - what kind of camera and tripod are you using?
Thanks, Lars. I use a Sony HX200v and no tripod. yep! no tripod for ANY of my videos. two hands only.
Thanks Jay! Oh boy ... you must have a smooth hand!
At 10:50 when the delta 717 comes in there is a train behind it.
COOL! I love trains too but i focus on airplanes. That said, Chicago is an awesome place for trainspotting.
Jay's O'Hare Aviation & HD Plane Spotting I love trains but I love airplanes almost as much and that is why I want to be a pilot.
Good good yes
Interesting how the engines on the CX B748F don't have spinner markings...
How do you get so close to the planes? Nice videos :D
Fayke Naime well, this was available to me because of special permission and I was also standing on top of a 30ft tall snow pile. Thanks 4 watchin'!

Jay's O'Hare Aviation & HD Plane Spotting Thanks!
How did you get into the airport to watch them?
Thanks for watching! I was given permission by the cargo facility to take videos here :)

Let me know if you would like my e-mail address. ok?
A very grateful, new plane spotter.
