Nice video. A 727 at 1:10, and a -100 at that! Charter/VIP, and looks hushed, but then again, lots of MD-80s with JT8D engines still around. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice plane spotting footage, Rachaelmatt! I enjoyed an In-and-out burger with a side of plane spotting at LAX recently. LAX is an amazing airport for plane spotting.
It was such a great video. Airplane spotting is one of my all time favorite time killing, stress relieving activities too, so does training spotting when I was a kid. I also have to endorse your descriptions on the bottom for your experience of this video- it was beautiful.
Awesome video. In 20 years to the future, these videos will be classic spotting, so enjoy these planes while they are there, specifically US Airways, which will soon be gone, and I love their colors
L.A. All day, every day, in every way! You know what I say! It's STILL a HUGE a LIKE!! Tops video here, my friend! Always cool to see a friends video as the lead video under a search for "planespotting"
Great video. For anyone that has never flown into LAX, it has four parallel runways it really is kind of strange when you have multiple planes just seconds apart.you might be coming in for a landing and see a plane taking off right next to you. They say it isn't the busiest in the country but I have flown into Chicago and Atlanta and to me it seems the busiest by far.
Wan Tjhen No, the wifi capabilities are made to not interfere with atc communication, control centers, etc. Just like cell phones do not interfere with atc coms either because they run on different frequencies, just as the wifi does. Just another asset to make travel that much more tolerable and enjoyable ;)
Fantastic video. I have spotted at the In N Out and had a great time. Were you just standing on the sidewalk the entire time? You had a great vantage point.
John Nolewajka There is a side road that runs parallel to the runway. That area is mostly fenced off. You just need to know where to go to get in. And yup, In & Out was one... I take that back... THE favorite spot of mine. Nothing like getting my favorite burger and sitting outside to watch the planes fly in...
there is but I believe there is a stream like canal between him and the airport so the barrier would be on lower ground from where he is, he may be using a long distance camera meaning you can only see over the fence, you can see the fence at 3:10
+bensflights yeah, I don't bother with sarcasm online anymore because its quite easy to misinterpret without body language and then you have yourself a stupid argument over nothing
! 1080p HD! During my trip to California I couldn't help but check out the iconic airport that is LAX for some spotting! This was all filmed on Friday 12th September 2014 from about midday until 4:30pm. LAX gets some incredible traffic which we rarely if not never see in the UK, so I made this video and filmed most traffic movements, all the little ones which we don't get in Europe altogether, not just the heavies. However it does still include absolutely tonnes of heavies too! I didn't know which bits to cut so I didn't... Here's everything I filmed :) So here goes, INCLUDES: Airbus A380's from: British Airways, Air France, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Korean Air & Asiana! Boeing 747's from: Virgin Atlantic, KLM, China Airlines, Cargolux and Lufthansa (747-8!) Boeing 777's from: American, Cathay Pacific, ANA, Etihad, Alitalia, China Cargo, Air China & Japan Airlines! Also includes: Air Tahiti Nui A340 (my first time seeing one!) Aeroflot A330, Hawaiian A330, United 787, LAN 767, Delta 767's, United 757's, Delta 757's, FedEx 757, Air Canada A321, Air Canada Rouge A319's & A320's, Southwest 737's, Volaris, Virgin America, Alaska, US Airways, Aeromexico, JetBlue, Avianca, Allegiant, Spirit, several bizjets and still loads more on top of all that! Runway 24 left & right are certainly more than enough to keep me entertained, with a never ending flow of arrivals and departures some of which line at perfect times for the perfect race of a departure & arrival! A few of which you can see in the video. The departures on RWY24L I was surprised at how soon after one aircraft has rotated the next one is rolling, you can see on several occasions in the video that I'm filming one aircraft climb away and you can already hear the next one powering up! Amazing. Apologies for the shaky footage in places, didn't have a tripod so was all handheld and apologies for the 3 annoying trees in the way as well, but not much I could do about them. Thanks for watching! COMMENT, THUMBS UP, FAVOURITE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE!! الفئة السفر والأحداث
+Francois Tombe Thank you I thought thats what they were as some have them and some dont on the same model of aircraft either added later or on newer builds?
finnishguy845 Honestly...I eat very healthy only eating crap once in a while...but seriously I could have an In N Out burger every other day...when I go to LA I always stay on West Century Boulevard at the Hilton LAX...I make a bee line for In N Out as soon as I have checked in. ;)
I love watching these plane videos. Every time I see a plane in the sky I have to stop and stare at it for a while.

Hello
I forgot to add, I just love watching planes, it always gives me chills, they are awesome.
Great video! Love all the different airlines and different planes you got to film!
Nice video. A 727 at 1:10, and a -100 at that! Charter/VIP, and looks hushed, but then again, lots of MD-80s with JT8D engines still around. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome video! I love this. keep
It up! LAX is teaming full of traffic! I love seeing it unfold before my eyes!
It was such a great video. Airplane spotting is one of my all time favorite time killing, stress relieving activities too, so does training spotting when I was a kid. I also have to endorse your descriptions on the bottom for your experience of this video- it was beautiful.
Awesome, that is one busy airport, I was there in 2012, man, I could not believe how huge it was.
Love that roar of the planes as the prepare for take off! Nice video man, keep it up!
for some reason, watching this is quite relaxing, thx for uploads
Great filming! This is heaven just love watching your vids 😀 Thanks so much.

Just amazing as always. a brilliant display. Thanks MATT
There is always such a nice assortment at LAX

It was incredible!!! Loved it till the end!!!
awesome video!!! love ur videos!!! keep making these type of videos!!!
Wow! I'M SPEECHLESS!!!! Loved it so much! Big sub and big like!
Excellent videos as always. I was wondering what the 'hump' was on the Southwest 737 at 27:52 I don't think I have ever noticed them before on a 737?
Its the wifi box. Norwegian have them on their 737-800's too and a few others do which have wifi :)
it is called a SATCOM. It enables wifi and other networks.
Wan Tjhen No, the wifi capabilities are made to not interfere with atc communication, control centers, etc. Just like cell phones do not interfere with atc coms either because they run on different frequencies, just as the wifi does. Very nice thanks for posting the video!
The KLM 747 is just beautiful love their pantjob and KLM is also very famous for the "Los Rodeos" collision quick 747 fact!
rachaelmatt Hi, loved this video. What is the camera that you use to film the video?
Thank You
Fantastic video. I have spotted at the In N Out and had a great time. Were you just standing on the sidewalk the entire time? You had a great vantage point.
That's the exact question i was asking!! :)

rokuthThanks! I'm coming back to LA in April and can't wait to spot.
Nice to see so many different A380 liveries!
one word... AWESOME
i love planes and planespotting:-D
Hei lars👍
1:37 - 2:14 whats that yellow stuff on the tail wing? Is the paint chipping off?
Xavier Whohasareallyannoyinglongunnecicaryusernam Its a yellow ribbon. Part of a special design.
rachaelmatt thanks man.
U.S. Army Signal Corps USM 1940s Roblox
That is the most coolest video
So many fantastic jets!
Great Vid of LAX Matt :)
Great filming. But OMG those Airbus 380s. Does it take 2 hrs to load and unload?
0 35 till 0 40...best reflections EVER....
Nice video you did a fab job liked and subscribed
Keep up the good work
That first Westjet coming from Vancouver I suppose?
lots of heavy traffic :) !!!!
My heart skips a beat at 6:00!
I thought they use the same runway. ;)
Nice plane spotting at lax
Nice footage. Thanks for sharing.
That's awesome! What runways are you shooting?
VERY good your vídeo - muito bom seus vídeos
Awesome! I wish we had this much traffic around here! Liked N' Subbed!
Sooo many planes with Wi-Fi domes!
Superb Video
The hump on the 737s are little sattelites ( I think, correct me if I am wrong) are what allow you to access wifi in flight.
737's don't have hump. If you mean the 747, the it's not for Wifi, it's a second floor.
Nahid125 yes they do its the WiFi box.
Nolan Alvarino Where are you getting your information? :P
beautiful video good job
What camera are you using here? Were you near the In-n-Out?
My son loves the video and he wants to be a pilot
I don't blame him!
Same here except I'm the son...
Flare1876 Welcome to the club
that AA 757 near the beginning sounded awesome starting its takeoff roll!
Great Video. Cheers from Hamburg
Great Video!
whoa awsome vid dude good job
I was wondering, which spotting location was this filmed at?
you guys have an amazing camera
enjoyed it, thanks
Where was this video taken. Not the airport. like what road? would love to see planes land there someday.
oooooooooooooo this was uploaded on my birthday :)
Nice video!
on the southwest whats the round bit on the roof at 28 mins.
How did you get up that high to get those shots
The plane at 5:26 is a Herjavec plane which is owned by Robert Herjavec from Shark Tank.
love it!
great video as always
hermosisimoooooooooooooooooooo
Damn those trees.
How come there is no barrier to the runway? Heathrow is covered by fencing. Why it it somehow 'not necessary' at LAX but is at LHR?
there is but I believe there is a stream like canal between him and the airport so the barrier would be on lower ground from where he is, he may be using a long distance camera meaning you can only see over the fence, you can see the fence at 3:10
+Zom-Nation Many thanks, nice clear reply without any sarcasm I half expect these days from people! I see the fence now :-)
+bensflights yeah, I don't bother with sarcasm online anymore because its quite easy to misinterpret without body language and then you have yourself a stupid argument over nothing
+Zom-Nation besides its not a stupid question
My future career is to be a pilot for Detla. Being a pilot sounds like an awesome job.
Well one way to get there is to go and get your license, and another is subbing to my channel :)
:)
nice
fantastic!!
I use to live near LA but I moved away. Now I kind of wish I had watched my planes more😐
At 1:08, I saw a Boeing 727 flying in this video during the plane spotting!! What a surprise, y’all!

Is Allegiant and American airline?
I love Planes, I love watching them come in to land. To live near a Runway like that would be a Dream to me personally, and I'm not just saying that.
+soeffingwhat it's so bad in the night it's super noisey and it london heathrow so there's planes ever 1 minute
Euan Edgar Yep, i'd say its an acquired taste and that many people have their Homes well sound insulated. I honestly believe that I'd love it though.
The ATC's certainly have their work cut out here! WOW!!
Deva ser dificil trabalhar como controlador de voou de um aeroporto como de Los Angeles e outros por este mundo afora, muito movimento...
talk about traffic and i thought the freeways were busy i imagine the skies are busy too
Alaska Air flys the MAX? That’s pretty cool....
There’s no MAX in this video
very good video Rachael thank you
flying here March 2016 to get engaged cant wait may just stay at the airport hahahah.
what are those domes on the roofs of some of the aircraft?
+Greg Palmer Usually to do with inflight entertainment. Either Wi-Fi or some sort of satellite TV.
+FEVB I figured these were recent additions for wi fi satellite
cheerd
I think theyre the transponder.
+Greg Palmer They are WiFi units. Not cheap for the passengers.
+Francois Tombe Thank you I thought thats what they were as some have them and some dont on the same model of aircraft either added later or on newer builds?
very nice Catches ! :)
Cheers
5:46 = CUTE PLANE!!!! Who else thinks the A319 is cute?
I'm probably just nuts to think a plane is cute.
Andrew or a a318
14:00 wow 767s are rare nowadays :/ i remember there used to be SO many of them...
At my airport we have tons of 767s I think we have at least 17
My airport is dulles
Yeah but they're getting extinct pretty quickly I think.
Amazing quality a huge like from me and subsriber
nice video!
American pilot is the best! :D
Did you have a burger from In N Out?
Julio Romeresto I wish we had a In N Out here in England.
***** Gotta check it out while visiting California this summer.
finnishguy845 Honestly...I eat very healthy only eating crap once in a while...but seriously I could have an In N Out burger every other day...when I go to LA I always stay on West Century Boulevard at the Hilton LAX...I make a bee line for In N Out as soon as I have checked in. ;)
***** I also eat junk food rarely, but when I do, I want it good :)
***** If you are in Cali, you have to eat in n out. It's only special to West Coast. :D
What plane and engines at 1:22?
I have an awesome name boeing 727
no at 1:22...
oh boeing 757
Where is this spotting location so u have the Address? I know it is near in n out
If they really love spotters at LAX they Should chop down those bushes ;)
At 5:38 that is Robert herjavec's private jet
are u sure?
Ya it says herjavec on it
Harrison Cohen Good eyesight!
Damn that Air France Airbus A-380 is huge, 27:13
It's the regular size for a 380
...
17:05 What is that?
Didn't realize before that most A380 operators come to LAX airport.
9:08 my favorite airline!
Is it because of the T.vs inside
2:39 there was a qantas a380 u probs missed
It wasn't departing, it was just being positioned to a storage location for the day.
niceee!!!!!
