one thing i dont understand... Are the substats totaly random, or does it matter what mods you put in with the substats you want? Like if you want weapon dmg on the substats, can you make it happend with putting in 4 mods with that stat or does it calculate based of how many of them you have to get better chance?
Well, I had same question and AI searched the web for me. "When performing mod conversions, the substats that appear are completely random. It doesn't matter what mods you input or their substats-such as weapon damage-when trying to influence the conversion outcome. Even if you stack mods with the same substat, like weapon damage, the resulting substats after conversion are still randomly determined. Some players also report that one substat is often less useful, like HP or damage reduction, especially in PvE scenarios. So, unfortunately, there's no way to directly control or increase the likelihood of getting the specific substats you want through the mod conversion process."
This system isn't nearly as awesome as everyone makes it out to be. You have to have already found the mod you want to craft to unlock it in the crafting menu, and you need THREE of the same type/affix to craft one with the same affix (Talent, Precision, Violence etc). So it's not really "any mod you want".
Nice guide and I will for sure wait until the next season. Not sure what type of build I will do yet O_o
