I have 160+ hours in my playthrough and was like "I know all this stuff"... then you pointed out the load outs pressing "H"! Dude, I never noticed that before. Worth the watch :) Thanks man
Same here. I've noticed a few days ago that you can hide the armors you don't want to see on you in gear menu 🥹 i kept that ugly mayfly googles for days
I can understand newer players that don't understand game mechanics might want to do the steel ammo, but once you're a season player on your second server, you should know how to efficiently use your resources to make tungsten ammo without issues. I only do Tungsten (and even have a stock of AP) with over 2k acid. The real trick is to work with other players to get perks on your crafting benches. For example, there are four furnace perks, two of which play a role in massively reducing your acid needs. One doubles the output of tungsten and the other reduces the cost of the craft by 30%. Those added together means it only takes 69 acid to make 198 tungsten (where without those perks it takes 1 acid : 1 tungsten. Not only that, but if you get the 50% more ammo perk on your supplies bench, you get even more efficiency in your acid to ammo crafts. All you need is someone providing the service, where you add them as a friend, give them build permission (you don't need to give them storage access), and they can destroy your bench and replace it, giving you the perks.
Hot take on the ammo tip. Yes, Steel Ammo is what you want to use for most things in the game, but Tungsten AP ammo crafted with special materials depending on your build is a 40% damage ammo (15% base + 25% for your build type). You'll want this ammo if you want to obliterate endgame content. This is assuming you've set up your base for acid production (which you should anyways). Also look out for the AP Ammo specialization, it's a large discount (+30% yield when crafting) tl;dr - Steel Ammo for easier content, Tungsten AP special for super endgame for huge damage.
What he doesn't explain because it looks like he's on a Pve server. Ammo will help in PvP, so yes steel ammo for PvE activities but I run into PvP with juiced ammo.
it costs 5000 stardust to make a single stack of SMG ammo. It might be stronger but its a complete waste as anything you can beat with bullets can be easily done with steel ammo. Those resources are needed for red plasma for NM+ PW's.
@@asmosisyup2557 True, but not everyone gets the memetic to make them. Created roughly 10k Tung AP ammo for just NM PW's. Still have over 30k+ Stardust Source and 10k+ Acid. can afford the ammo and helps. Being a foot soldier in a matter of speaking, and working on the arms or bosses that spawn along with just plain bio missels (as no one should be using plasma's on them). While the peeps with Red Plasma's work on shields on the Manibus. I just use this special ammo for NM PW's. Though sucks up my electronics being shrapnel. But have enough to be set up until this is over. If I could make red plasma I would not be making this ammo. And not everyone can make them. So best to get that good damage somewhere else, AP Ammo for NM PW's only.
Scraping mods at the recycler was a nightmare. All jumbled up and disorganized. Then I discovered you can tag a mod for scrap while in your mod menu. So if you only need armor mod parts, you can go to mods, armor, then helmet, top, bottom. . .etc. Pick the one you want to scrap with x, then go to the recycler and they are already loaded up to be scraped.
You can actually combine mods to make new mods that might be better. I'd only scrap purple mods unless you got all the mods you needed for your character build and got good rolls on them on top of that.
I suppose a decent tip, don’t be afraid to go to a higher level area, cause the highways are usually filled with loot, and lvl 30-50 areas have items which are useful to get early on cause it took me forever to get power
Thanks for the vid and great tips! I'll just add another thing the game/devs don't tell you is that you can stack food & whim buffs! For instance, you can eat roasted meat that's made with deer and rabbit and get both stamina buffs AND you can eat your canned meat to get the shrapnel buff added on top of that.. As for whims, you can stack up to 7! So Living Armor, Featherweight, Utter delight, That Spring Step one, Weaver and whatever other whims are in the game! That's very powerful in of itself... As for the drinks I haven't found a combo that stacks yet, but there's probably some. I hope this helps!
If you're cooking Roasted Meat with Deer, also make it with Rabbit, the Stamina effects stack. Pork and Bear for HP, used with Canned Lunch meat and you have an increased health pool. Include Fish for Fire Rate, PSI intensity and Crit DMG.
If you didn't know, Canned "Bear" Meat will give you +100hp for 30 min's along with the +20% Shrapnel bonus. Theres a HUGE Bear cave in most NW Mtn in Chalk Peak 👊🏽👊🏽
Goat meat is the most optimal for survival, slow health regen as a passive. If you do mistakes rarely, aka get damaged. You can just avoid using medicine by eating one piece of goat meat in a can.
To take your cannon trick one further, you can take your Prime War mats and stick them in the truck of your car or Jeep. Jeep has a bigger trunk. You can keep ammo there too.
@yahikonightray5398 Resummon? Summon yes. I'm not sure what happens to the trunk contents if the jeep gets destroyed and you have to repair and resommon.

on food, getting the portible refrigerator (either spec yourself or buy from another player) makes all your normal foods last for 10 days rather than 24 hours. It's often overlooked but is literally gamechanging as you can make multiple rare/high cost foods and keep them for when you need them. As for inventory at end of season, pretty much everything moves to eternaland, and you then take some of that (deviants, weapons, armor, resources) into the new season. The *only* items that will not be moved (i.e. destroyed) are items made with memetic specializations i.e. the 14 day backpack tools, gold/silver bars, combo chipsets and any season specific items/deviants related to the mechanics of that season.
Some really great tips here, thank you so much! If I can add one, it's make the time to grind out getting all of the accessories, even if they aren't for weapons you use. Not only do you get the accessory, which you might decide to use later, but you also get stardust source and a controller from each loot crate, plus other goodies. And there are 50 total accessories. That 50 non-time gated controllers, which are really at a premium for people on my server at least. I would also say take the time to do the Blackfell extractions, if you're at that level. They also grant stardust source, and the premium barreled fuel you need for the missiles.
I thought, I was the only guy noticed about having Ale and Canned Meat is the best Combo roaming the map. Nicely explained and very detailed, Thank you.
Once you reach end game(lvl 50) you should be using Tungsten ammo for every day use, and Tungsten AP ammo for bosses/crucial PvP. Tungsten is easy to find and acid isn't hard to get (Refineries, killing mobs, crafting with specializations, brewing). The damage difference is noticeable enough to make it worth the effort.
I'm 100 hours in, all this is great and helpful still lol. It's so easy to sink 100 hours in and not even touch half the things this game can do but still be having an absolute blast. Thanks for the tips!
Some of his tips are bad imo. Like the tungsten, if you’re farming acid, you have tons of acid you want to optimize your damage. The key is getting the bench where you increase the amount of bullets you create!
As for memory fragments, theres a small chance to get one any time you use a controller to obtain loot. Events, silos, and prime war crates all have a chance. For a drink, I'd recommend blueberry soda and situationally alcohol.
to add on that, you can premake your turrets at your base, dismantle them, so you get the resources in inv and load up the car boot with those resources for when you go to prime war.. that way you dont have to always spend eternity finding the right amount of resources whenever you wanna do prime wars.
Im fairly new, 2 weeks playing (level 36) im currently just farming materials unlocking solar drill with TH and made a shop ect. Now i have got that going. im heading back into the story with alot of materials and currency! There is alot of good tips here thankyou
Once you can make stardust from mixed fuel which you mine and don't have a useless acid farm as I can just use deviated chops and get TONS, I then have the ability to craft over 20k stardust. Drill baby drill. That is ALL anyone should be doing. Lots of stardust, lots of acid, and I have tons of AP ammo
My base easily farms tungsten and acid automatically and i have the memetic spec that yields me 100% more normal ammo. So i get double the production on none AP tungsten ammo for the same mat requirement. Tungsten ammo is literally the ammo you need to be shooting 90% of the time.
Hopefully I’ll run across you one day while playing. You know, same server and all! I’m a little over 100hrs in and seeing how they plan on doing the wipes, I’m excited. I’m just hoping they are able to deliver on said promises and frequency. One of the biggest tips I can share is for those who are in or close to polluted zones…make sure you’re farming the stardust ore and going to towns looking through vending machines. After about two(ish) hours waiting for people to restock their vending machines I traded the ore for 5,500 stardust source. I realize this may dwindle now, but it has been a huge help for me.
This is a great guide thanks man. I just started building for shrapnel too lol. Got to the third area so will be building all the items that require steel. Time to make a brewery for my bar!
i make tungsten normal ammo, reason being i have a perk that give me 30% less resource and 2x the amount when smelting alu and tung, so i really don't care making tungsten ammo (not the ap version btw)
The ammo thing is why people build acid farms, if you can affors tugsten why not, and get one of those bonus ammo memetic things. and the double tungsten when smelting. your good.
You actually get to keep mods and weapon calibrations too. So if you get a god roll calibration onto your weapon when you pull that weapon over from eternaland it will still be equipped to said weapon. Also its not a waste to farm for godrolled mods since they even said in their most recent posts that mods will also roll with you to the new season. It seems as though we basically get to keep everything that was a time sink.
Dont be scared to go in with an upgraded, good melee weapon for basic creatues. Save your ammo on flying and specialty creatures. The machete is FANTASTIC for early game. You can take down almost all creatures with one power attack (right click) without getting hit.
I really just started using the steel rounds again. Totally makes sense to save up tungsten for vehicles and other crafting. Plus the acid although I'm getting lots with deviated chops and oil refinery
If you are just starting or creating an alt at phase 5 that is actually the best time to start cause you can literally go from level 1-50 in between 55-56 minutes by simply doing nothing but commissions.
I beg to differ, ap ammo is not for people learning the game that much is true. But to seasoned players that are sitting on more than 20k and maxed out, it is way more worth it to get ap ammo than to get millions of el.
for the ammo it will still be tungsten when you have an acid farm. And if you're lucky and got the Oil processing & Art of Stardust Decay you can make Stardust Source Infinitely and can convert them to acid and Tungten AP Bullets because you have tons of them.
Thanks dude, we just start playing yesterday and beat first monolith today and kinda lost where to go next. I guess I want that base design of urs and also grinding til get steel I suppose. I was right to grab that use less material to craft ammo perk lamo. Thanks to everyone comment as well also playing on novice cuz it chills
About the Eternaland currencies, only one is currently not available. The available currencies have been available since the beginning once unlocking Eternaland. Astral Sand is the base currency used to create stuff in Eternaland, you get it from selling off items in the Eternaland shop. Astrealite is used to purchase unique furnishings in the Eternaland shop (spacetime canvas, stones, trees). You get Astrealite from completing orders in the Eternaland Shop. The last currency is Material Points from in game itself "At the start of a new Season, you will receive a certain amount of Material Points that can be used to transfer your supplies on Eternaland to the new Season. Different supplies require varying amounts of Material Points for transfer. Please note that any unused Material Points will not be carried over to the next Season."
All are good but that ammo ones tough. Yes you can fight all the high end stuff but your not as efficient. LEA Labs Pro halfway through finale encounter I ran out of tungsten for ar and switch to steel. The drop off even against grawlers was significantly bad.
I agree with you brother. I am 100% sure this youtuber hasnt soloed Lea Lab but he speaks like he has dominated the end game content 😂😂😂 this guy is such a joke, I didnt like any of his tips tbh
On the resets, nothing has changes since they first talked about it, other than caving for the possibility of 1 year servers which will probably be bad. The year long servers will be similar to playing path of exile outside of league, you won't get the cool new stuff. They've stated their plans for the map one of three things will happen they didn't specify. 1: All the same areas will be open and one or two new zones will unlock. 2: Some areas close and one or two new ones will open. example: Chalk peak and broken delta will no longer be available, but two new areas open up further north. 3: All of the areas we've explored close and are not available and new areas open up.
I made my first juices and a tool tip popped up saying things put in glass don't expire after 24 hours. I feel like this would be the same using mason jars, preserves the food you put in.
just make passive acid farm, get a ammo +50% making Specilization or have someone that has it make you crafting station with it in your base. = Run around with Tungesten... you get enough from passive farm in Acid per day, to easily make enough ammo daily for 1-3 days. Heck do Cargo events/Nissa's Chests/Double Acid Drops + Permit Refineries in Blackfell. (Easily 200-400 acid per permit, even if your helping someone out, so many devients spawn that drop acid you get at least 100-200 per each 5mins) But until than, ya just use Steel Ammo in Early pre-50 levels. You use AP ammo only for GvG.
There is a mastery that give 100% yield on tungsten smelted. There is also one that give an extra 50% on ammo crafted. The tungsten ammo isn't that bad if you are able to spend that amount
Some weapons an armor can be put into a special slot for eternaland. So if youve got the mats its worth making everything, especially mid level stuff to see how much you can cram in there
By biggest thing that set me back was crafting every weapon and armor I got from mystic crates instead of keeping them for upgrades on weapons I actually use only one worth crafting is the frost smg everything else I would and should of used to upgrade
Thanks for the vid, there were a few things that you mentioned, that I honestly didnt know. I was also wondering, that when the time comes, will you be able to do a vid on how we can transfer items to the next season? Thanks in advance
Sulfur chemist makes acid a joke. Stardust source becomes something you have tens of thousands of later into the game after grinding for mods, more than youd ever use. For that reason i just use tungsten and or tungsten ap ammo - ap ammo is actually a tad better with the ap ammo yield bench, 52 ap ammo vs 60 normal ammo. Then the special legendary ammo is obviously for pvp.
I 100% advise using tungsten AP or even the legendary ammo. You or someone you know will have a meme spec to get source, it’s really not that rare. I’ve crafted upwards of 200k Tungsten AP and 2k biomass missiles and I’m still over 10k source.
Tungsten ammo is not difficult to achieve. Run workshops with deviated preserved chops on. Each acid drop will be 8 or 9 and it will give you 50-100 at completion. Also get the ammo making memetic that gives you double tungsten ammo yield. Very affordable. Compounding returns on many things.
people have fun in alot of different ways. Some people enjoy min maxing, others enjoy a casual pace, others just do whatever they want. Its not about "who cares about min maxing" its about who finds this fun. If something like this doesnt resonate with you then thats fine, it probably does to others.
That setup you have is sick. It will be hard to see that go in the new season, won't it? I spent a lot of time on mine as well, and now I'm thinking in 2 weeks, it all goes to scrap.
Soooo I have over 200 hours and I just learned that you can give seeds to a growshroom and use H for loadouts hahaha. First season playing though, do your blueprints carry over to the next season?
Acid not hard to grind for and same with stardust resource at endgame. Yes you want to save your stardust resource until teir 5 gear and weapons for calibration, but after that is fine. Teir 5 areas drop 5-6 acid drop from diviant enemies, gunpowder from human npc enemies.
More than that if you use the deviated preserved chops....I get anywhere from 6-9 acid per drop (ofc not every kill will drop acid, so it's RNG based) so I run Blackfell refinery 2-3 times a day (depending on chest resets) and can usually come away with 300-400 acid just from kills alone.
Steel is still the best ammo by far, even in the hard mode servers its more than enough to deal with 99% of enemies, only time i use tungsten is if im forced to solo a boss or silo on pro mode and i use it sparingly against the elite enemies/great ones weak spots .
the logic of Ale giving sanity regen is always hilarious to me
that and Hydration lol

Attacks that deduct sanity affect you even when under the influence of Malt Ale or Corn Ale. (You are not able to ignore all sanity loss.)
Very helpful, thank you
It is too expensive early in the season but if you're phase 4-5 all your resources will gonna get nuked anyways, just go crazy
Bro he is using Shelterer Hat with Shrapnel, he's a newbie
The ammo thing is why people build acid farms, if you can affors tugsten why not, and get one of those bonus ammo memetic things. and the double tungsten when smelting. your good.
Checking in as a person that has skimmed over the loadout area for 100+ hours. That's crazy!
great vid, ty
bro i’m 60 hours in and you just taught me about the save presets as well as thought me that there are literal classes
Happy to see you keep playing Once Human
Dont be scared to go in with an upgraded, good melee weapon for basic creatues. Save your ammo on flying and specialty creatures.
The machete is FANTASTIC for early game. You can take down almost all creatures with one power attack (right click) without getting hit.
Your video was very informative, thank you! :D I was indeed worried i would lose a lot of my stuff lol
Thank-- thank yooou~ :D
Liked and subbed, you taught me something new, appreciate you!
Thanks for the ale explanation. Beer is magical, confirmed!
Wow save loadouts-Epic! Thanks man
Great video!
(Easily 200-400 acid per permit, even if your helping someone out, so many devients spawn that drop acid you get at least 100-200 per each 5mins)
But until than, ya just use Steel Ammo in Early pre-50 levels. You use AP ammo only for GvG.
I forgot that I had the 50% ammo bench and was going to make tungsten ammo to last all week (25k rounds), wound up making 50k rounds, haha.
Save gear sets! Woop. Nice tip, didn't see that tooltip/option. Anothee one that took me ages, was the press V to hide gear 😢
There is a mastery that give 100% yield on tungsten smelted. There is also one that give an extra 50% on ammo crafted. The tungsten ammo isn't that bad if you are able to spend that amount
Their Dev Blog has a huge rundown of what you keep and loose during the reset (Worth a read!)
Also ... *NEW* area of the map opening up in October!
Some weapons an armor can be put into a special slot for eternaland. So if youve got the mats its worth making everything, especially mid level stuff to see how much you can cram in there
You can bring over weapons and armor for the new server. However, don't forget that they useless until you level up for the tier of the item.
I found out about loadouts 2 days ago after about 120 hours in game lol. Mindblown🤯
Thank for this now I have clear mind to continue the game😊
Actually these are some great tips, thanks!
Hard mode silos will drop mem frags as well, Ive pulled out three from Hard Theta.
For sniper i use tungsten for sure 1 headshoot kill, for rifle i use steel so i can just spray kill ✌😅
By biggest thing that set me back was crafting every weapon and armor I got from mystic crates instead of keeping them for upgrades on weapons I actually use only one worth crafting is the frost smg everything else I would and should of used to upgrade
Thanks for the ale and canned meat tip. My warband has designated me as farmer and supplier lol.
I had no idea you could save builds that’s sick asf
This video earned my sub 👍
Tungsten is for PVP. Every bit of higher damage counts in that regard. If you’re just a pve player then yeah stick with steel
True words, just enjoy the game my friends, who cares about min max dmg or doing everything on pro, just have a good time
people have fun in alot of different ways. Some people enjoy min maxing, others enjoy a casual pace, others just do whatever they want. Its not about "who cares about min maxing" its about who finds this fun. If something like this doesnt resonate with you then thats fine, it probably does to others.
Nice for us lowbies. =) Thnx.
Awesome!
That setup you have is sick. It will be hard to see that go in the new season, won't it? I spent a lot of time on mine as well, and now I'm thinking in 2 weeks, it all goes to scrap.
You should make the best ammo possible if on a PVP server. I have gotten memory fragments from hard mode silos and monoliths.
Soooo I have over 200 hours and I just learned that you can give seeds to a growshroom and use H for loadouts hahaha. First season playing though, do your blueprints carry over to the next season?
yes bps carry over this time and furniture
and starchrome and mitsukos too btw
@@ERrnesST Nice!
with the bullets i would say use tungsten ap bullets only for extremely hard bosses like manibus and such
Acid not hard to grind for and same with stardust resource at endgame. Yes you want to save your stardust resource until teir 5 gear and weapons for calibration, but after that is fine. Teir 5 areas drop 5-6 acid drop from diviant enemies, gunpowder from human npc enemies.
More than that if you use the deviated preserved chops....I get anywhere from 6-9 acid per drop (ofc not every kill will drop acid, so it's RNG based) so I run Blackfell refinery 2-3 times a day (depending on chest resets) and can usually come away with 300-400 acid just from kills alone.
but if you dont use acid on ammo, what the heck you need that much acid for in the end? :| i thought it was really only to get the ammo.
I'm curious if the loadout setting survives and carries over to the next season?
great job bro
Steel is still the best ammo by far, even in the hard mode servers its more than enough to deal with 99% of enemies, only time i use tungsten is if im forced to solo a boss or silo on pro mode and i use it sparingly against the elite enemies/great ones weak spots .
