Instead of an o-ring that makes the fob bigger, or electrical tape, I found that reversing the spring winding inside the keyfob, so when the button is pressed, it pulls the key into the fob, worked well for me.
I bought a key cover and it’s harder to flip the key out but you hardly ever need ur key. At least I don’t. And it solved the accidental ‘flip’ issue. Better than elec tape or gluing an o ring.

To stop the key flipping out, I have found that buying one of the key covers off of Amazon virtually eliminated that issue, still allows usage of the feature and does not permanently alter the key at all.
I also got a fob cover (metal one) for 2 reasons. 1st was because of the key flipping out. 2nd was more irritating - my key fob was constantly setting off the panic alarm. That had to end One word of warning should you get a metal fob cover - they can DRASTICALLY cut down the distance where the fob sensor in the Jeep recognizes it. I would still rather deal with that than the other 2 issues.
I was urban bush wacking in the Envoy, and snapped the Antenna off at the body. The Antenna is recessed in its own divot, and it screws from the body into the antenna, so I'll drill a hole into the broken piece, and drill a hole into the metal still in the antenna, and then tap both sides with and screw them back together with threaded rod. and then sell the Envoy..

Pull out the front passenger seat, drill a hole in the BOTTOM or REAR of the console storage area, then there is plenty of room to route the wire in the gap at the bottom of the console on the passenger side back to the USB port. (There a slew of wires going through there already, so need to be careful). The hole would be kind of large though to allow one end of the cable to pass through. My console already has a USB port INSIDE the console storage area, yours does not?
