I miss the old logo aswell. I love the simplistic design. I still got the box of my LGG Venus standing next to my monitor even though I haven't used the pad in almost 2 years
I ordered infinity speed v2 soft, but they send me control v2 instead. After playing on that pad for 2-3 weeks, it became faster, and not that slow anymore tbh
I am so confused of all the mousepad options. Atm I have a generic Amazon mousepad with a GPro Wireless. But I might switch to a Sora V2 or something. I mostly play valorant but also all kinds of games. I want my mousepad to be really long lasting and I would pay like 60€. Is a artisan zero the right choice or are there better alternatives?
You are correct, it doesn't matter if you stick with _one_ mousepad. In the end - what makes you a better player is the quality hours you put in practicing with the setup you have. Are you one of those who constantly change DPI, change your mouse, change your mousepad etc etc you will never reach that level because you start over and over again. That is why pro's stick with same old since they were kids - it is the setups they put in hours with that you cant reset. Artisian zero is a perfect choice (Its like the best mousepad in many aspects) aslong as you stick with it and practice :)
Sticking to single setup is complete BS advice. @@goochipoochie Its not BS, I dont follow valorant I play CS and there its not common. Pro teams litteraly have sponsorships where they are forced to use new gear, same as fotboll players and other sports. Tenz as I recall is quite washed and is promoting his own gaming mouse if im not mistaken (Money involved). I am a bit to old to argue on youtube so I will just leave it here, play with same settings over and over and you will be better then if you are a gear addict and change settings all over the place. It is the amount of hours you put into the game that matters
It really depends... I thought the Zero would be perfect(close) but I started branching out. Found out speed pads can feel really easy to microadjust or slow can make it difficult in terms of microadusting. Everyone is different tho. Zero soft is a really safe pick like how everyone starts with a grpo as their first mouse shape.
Would you say that the type 99 xsoft would be a lot slower than the one you showed? I prefer a thicker mousepad and was wondering between that and the Jumpiter pro xsoft
I like how you need to reiterate again and again when you say A is faster than B, but they are still the slowest pads 😂 btw do you think mid variant of type99 would be better on the problem you mentioned, that with longer playtime it becomes slower?
Hey stubby, I've also got hyperhidrosis and looking to get a glass pad that is less sticky on the skin. If you were to rank the following pads (1 being least sticky while 3 being the most sticky): padsmith empress, the whale glaze, glsswrks kazemi. What would your order be. Keen to see your reply! :)
Did you even get past the intro? Its literally in the video. You want slower - Jupiter, you want a bit more speed - Type99. Base is the same, stitching is the same so there is no "objetively" better in that case, just a matter of preference.
@@stubbyfpsdoes the jupiter have that tactile locked in slow feeling bc thats what im really looking for a muddy locked in pad so i can play like 25cm-15cm/360 for target switching

The standard Jupiter is the older umbrella surface. The new one is a traditional weave with a multi hardness base system. Also gets a poron base over the older standard rubber that was used on the original Jupiter.
I want to buy a mouse pad with more control. Currently I am using Gsr 2 and its kinda feels slippery with less stoping power. Will there be a drastic change if I move to Jupiter pro firm ?
not 100% sure since the neutron is in the weird bubble of being super slow and also not being slow. id say consistently, the jupiter pro xsoft is slower than the neutron.
@@stubbyfps Thats crazy. Props to LGG as they have a solid option in each category - mud, balance, speed. I may grab one in Firm for the sake of it. Xsoft sounds like a fun pick just to experience "the extreme" but i really can't use Soft/XSoft as they always feel like im digging my entire mouse into it even if i apply no pressure.
Thank you, this vid is really informative specifically for control pad users👏🏻

Type99 and Jupiter v2 pro are the way to go

great video
I’ve tried way too many mousepads but I keep coming back to the Saturn pro.
saturn pro is so good man/
Im loving my jupiter pro. Use it with sapphire dot skates if you really want to experience the definition of mud
How much are sapphire dots and where can I get them from? Thanks!
@@Dehito infinty mice website . They are pricey though
They are slower than Rizz? Ty for the review ❤
i dont have the rizz anymore, but from memory its slower.
I like how you need to reiterate again and again when you say A is faster than B, but they are still the slowest pads 😂 btw do you think mid variant of type99 would be better on the problem you mentioned, that with longer playtime it becomes slower?
If def would if you want to keep a consistent higher speed. But I’ve heard the type99 mid sucks (I personally haven’t tried it)

1. Kazemi, 2. Empress, 3. Glaze
Which one do you think is better, type99 or jupiter pro? Better overall, which one would you pick? Especially for cs and valo.

sadly ive never tried the rjn pad (didnt even know he made the pad, he left the scene before i joined).
but its def slower than the gsr 1 ./
@@stubbyfps Well xtrfy made the GPZ1, "RJN" pad. It's pretty dang muddy. Lol. And thanks for that clarification on the muddy. That's pretty muddy.
so whats the difference between the jupiter and the jupiter v2 pro?
The standard Jupiter is the older umbrella surface. The new one is a traditional weave with a multi hardness base system. Also gets a poron base over the older standard rubber that was used on the original Jupiter.
@@stubbyfps im guessing the control is about the same
so type99 xsoft better than the soft version?
Personally, the soft is better.
I want to buy a mouse pad with more control. Currently I am using Gsr 2 and its kinda feels slippery with less stoping power. Will there be a drastic change if I move to Jupiter pro firm ?
soft/xsoft
the jupiter firm will feel quicker than a used gsr2.
id suggest the soft for more stopping power.
@@qryy168 how much more control does the xsoft have
which type 99 should i get for valorant? I have logitech superlight 2 with tiger ice skates.
Xsoft
Hey i use the GSR SE GRIS and i love it are any of these pads similar? if not can u recommend any that are similar.
They are less textured. But as slow, I’d say the Xsoft Jupiter and type99 are much slower than the gsrse
@@stubbyfps some say a worn in gsr se gris/rouge is about the same as a type99 mid is that true?
amazing vid but ill keep my saturn pro for a while
Neutron wants a word with you
Hey stubby, is the infinity mice control v2 you compared mid or soft? thanks
i forgot to specify, it was the soft control v2 🙏🏽
would you recommend the jupiter if your main game would be cs
if thats your ONLY game yes, I find it a tad too slow (the xsoft and soft) for faster paced shooter.
the firm is mint for everything tho
@@stubbyfps so just go for the firm and i should be fine right
qck heavy or infinity mice control v2 ?
control v2 and its not even close.

no the jupiter is definitely not as slow as the neutron premium
keep in mind stubby said the perseus feels like a saturn clone which is insane

jupiter pro v2 soft for ow / val?

is it soo slow for a control pad? like TOOOO slow to play on?
depends what skates you use and how many, so quick answer. its not to slow to play on it
This. The pad is crazy slow, but not too slow to play on.
