Thanks for this. Perfect timing as well as I wasn't sure what Artisan to go with, but since you play CoD and said the Hien was good for it plus the attributes of the pad, went ahead and ordered one from Amazon
I play COD too I was thinking about Hayate otsu or the Zero. Is HEIN better?
@@kristoferdevibar7600 don't know what to tell you other than watch the video and pay attention to his breakdowns of the ones he uses for CoD and why. I have zero experience with Artisans.
Former skypad enjoyer. I went with a zero mid xl. For fast paced fps can’t go wrong with a zero mid, lightweight mouse and some jade dots. Feels like a good balance of speed and control. I have a hien but like he said the texture feels a bit abrasive. Wouldn’t recommend sleeves for either pad. Just my experience. 🤙🏼

Have the Raiden mid and Hien soft. Nothing beats the Raiden imo. So consistent and I use Jade and obsidian dots as well as super glides v1
What do you play? i was about to get the mid but now raiden soft is coming , i like speed and fluid movement but i aprecciate a bit of stopability

Hi, what would you recommend for me as an Artisan mouse pad knowing that I mainly play fortnite, cod, R6, valo, minecraft and gta 5, using viper V3 pro with the stock skates. ty for the answer.
as a plane nerd i love that they name their pads after japanese fighter planes.
this kou with the different x and y axis intrigues me. i have my arms slightly spread to the sides so my horizontal line isn't horizontal on the pad. does that mean i have to orient the pad at a different angle to get the desired results?😅
had a hayate otsu, quickly developed a "slow spot" in the middle which wouldn't wash or clean out, almost completely ruining the pad for me, just ordered a hien soft xl so hope that's better

you said that the raiden and both the shidenkai are the fastest cloth pads. so which should i pick if i want a fast pad but still a bit of stopping power? i have a hien xsoft right now but i dont really like it.
Hien x soft has been the king pad for me.
I have the zero soft and hayate otsu mid. I think i will order the hien and raiden next

Hey i could need some help. I play really low sens (100cm/360°) I mainly play CS2. The size of the Artisan mousepads would be ok for but i still dont know which one i should choose. I use my whole arm to aim. Thank you for the Video.
Are you sure the hayate otsu has a different x / y axis speed? I thought it was only on the kou
i’ve got the hayate otsu in xsoft but sometimes i feel like it is not too consistent, and causes me to switch to my Raiden mid. might also have to do with the humidity in my tropical country (90+ very often)
do you think i should get a key 83 once it releases, or should I try out a hayate otsu soft?
key83 might be perfect if you want a slower glide

Artisan Zero
Ive been using a sleeve with a Zero Soft Black for awhile now and it totally works for me. Just got the new XXL Daidai Zero in Mid and that shit is so rough, its impossible with a sleeve, the tug is crazy. I thought the Mid would be smoother for a sleeve over Soft, maybe I have to wear it in?
It is because of the orange color

I've had the Zero soft for over a year now and I still feel like i'd rather have a little bit more stopping power without losing my flicks and general glide of the pad.
I’ve never tried the Xsoft zero, but I do know it slower dynamically but not by a large margin like the type99 soft. The soft type99 is REALLY slow 😭
@@stubbyfps So unless I really want to slow down my mouse movement I should not go for the Type 99 if I got that right?
great quality but if you want to take it up higher, fixing the large amount of focus breathing in post or using a different lens would make the video less distracting
Yeah it’s been fixed in recent videos, I switched to a manual focus cine lens so no focus breathing should happen!

Do any of the recent pads have hair issues? My Zero (updated logo version) has always had an issue with trapping hair and dust particles onto the surface, more so than any other black pads I have. Would be interested in picking up a type 99 and hayate otsu as well if those don't have hair issues.
my cat loves to rub on my mousepad and its hasnt been an issue really.
still gets some hairs stuck tho

I purchased an artisan raiden xsoft mousepad size M but I don't know if this size is long enough, I had to buy size L ☹️
So you're telling me I need a Raiden mid for the fatest cloth experience? gotcha. Btw, are you gonna review the Blitz hard? I feel like that pad might contend the Raiden for fastest cloth pad but idk i haven't tried either lol
nah the blitz doesnt even come close to the raiden.

Can you please compare the gamesense radar, saturn pro v2 soft and the type 99 for me in terms of speed vs control? How close to each other are they?

saturn pro
radar.
radar is good, but the type99 is slower and more consistent. and the saturn pro is just a better radar in all ways.

What would you recommend for pro Valorant? I’m considering between the Zero Soft and Type 99 Soft 😅
zero is more versatile for more games. if Valorant is the ONLY game you are pro in, then the type99 will be more at home (compared to pads like the qck, gsr, and gsrse)
otsu is very smooth
no where near as smooth as the shidenkai or raiden.
those are my benchmarks for smooth pads.
good video yet it made it harder for me to decide since all games i play go in favor of different artisans mousepads lol ( val / apex / rust / r6 ) Ive ranked high in all ( immo3 / masters / old diamond but am really looking forward to a artisan mousepad that can give me comfortability and quality rather then my old worn 20$ logitech one. i run 800dpi with slow-middish sensitivity and not sure if i should go for speed or control ? any feedback would be great
i would say something in tghe middle if you arent sure, the tried and true answer is a zero soft.
everything else would be MUCH different overall.

I really like my hien or type99 for COD.
Drastically different pads but they are both great .
Bit of an odd question but most people reccomend these for fps games but I was wondering which would be reccomended for league of legends? Obviously not the diff x and y one

@@scottmicacchi6284 The key83 is slightly slower than the otsu, but if the otsu was too fast then the zero is your best bet. The video already has the mousepads ordered chronologically from slowest to fastest.
the best mousepad Ive ever used is an LGG Saturn Pro XSOFT, Type 99 is better?
they are the same tier for me.
the type99 just feels SLIGHTLY better.

why doesn't zero go well with arm sleeve? and which mousepad goes well with arm sleeve?
because the zero has exposed micro fibers that catch on to 99% of sleeves.
most pads with closed fibers will work well with sleeves (depending on weave pattern)
