thats exactly how force trim should work. you have a spring system and a magnet system at the same time, so the stick should feel "springy" at any center. when you move the stick and press the force trim the spring should release with the magnet. when you release you will get a new "center" and the spring feel will be back relative to that center. that is exactly what we miss when we use a "dead stick" configuration, removing the springs and use dry clutch. you might be left with the same position but no spring feel or centered feel. less accuracy with out it I feel.
Really cool to see an F16 mode making it behave almost like a force stick. Are you also able to simulate a helicopter where the stick stays in place? Also, curious if the software allows anything like LFE style effects leveraging audio channel that may not have native force feedback support or telemetry output?
thanks for showing a f-16 style for that base, I am thinking for buying base , stick , and that mount. Can you show in another wideo a f-4 force feedback ?
The Apache has force trim on the controls, which means they are spring centered unless the force trim release switch is pressed. And it doesn't have beep trim (moving the stick with the trim switch)
does it worth the money? dont know if to spend my money or not :D I'm also afraid I will buy it like the first moza r9 and after few months they release new version that support other things..
I think it will be worth the money after they rework the software which is planned to release in the winter. Currently I would wait for some more updates
I think backwards wouldn’t work due to the stick mounting and the software. The bottom has a bunch of threaded holes so there probably is a suitable solution somewhere
What about the base? Check out my first impressions of the Moza AB9 base here! th-cam.com/video/H4AiYUB341g/w-d-xo.html
Mine is arriving on Wednesday for my sim rig, can not wait!

Ahaa, thanks for the helpful insight!

Thanks a looooot! You made me buy it. 🎉
Wow, hope you enjoy it as well!🎉
@@dcs_one we will see, I will tell you my opinion once it is in my hands.

You can check out my first look video to hear my thoughts but I will be making a gameplay video next week with the F-4 so stay tuned!
@@dcs_one thanks ❤️🙏🏿

cute rings ;)
Thanks!
I’d love to see the A-10C2 tested and reviewed with the AB9. Subscribing so I don’t miss when you publish it :)
i will see what I can do :)
The latence time between stick movement/showing on monitor looks quite high?
Will they be able to improve that?
I actually don’t think it was that high. The helicopter test will need to be redone since I hadn’t unlocked the full capability of the base yet
Is it possible to mount it backwards on a gaming chair?

try the F-4!!!!!!
Already did!

Try Heatblur modules: F-4, F-14 they are the best showcase for FFB, also all ED warbirds
Will be trying out the F-4 this week some more and warbirds later on. Wish I would have the F-14 to try that too. I think my trial was used recently
You need to buy the f14. Best plane in the game!
@@kodiakrl1094 need to earn some extra money for it
@@dcs_one haha I feel that. But I promise the 14 is the best
@@kodiakrl1094 I bet it is
FFB sidestick and desk mount is this joke 😂😂😂 your table go away
Pretty stronk desk, not going anywhere yet.
Thats a terrible design if it bumbs into the desk, they should have made it have room.
The design could have been better
