Ron Tobisch Yes, this is in the Black Hills of South Dakota. These are some of the best roads I've ever ridden.

Who would ever thought that we have those type of landscapes right here in the United States of America?! Yet? We have "Americans" who have never left their home-state...
I am absolutely convinced that we have 50 States that can literally be 50 different countries...It never ceased to amaze me. As a new FJR owner, I am looking forward to get back on the saddle again...
WOW! AWESOME Vlog! Keep It Vertical!
    Cheers!

"Man look at that rock formation." I like that boulder. That is a nice boulder.

+Hannabull Yes, I am proud to be a dork. And your boulder comment made me laugh pretty hard so thanks for that.

I’m really looking hard and FJr for that one purpose.. to ride long distances in different states with a comfortable bike with performance...... is your bike comfortable after three or 400 mile trip and how is reliability?

    • @sciencebiker9519

Reliability is top notch. My bike now has 50,000 miles on it and just went from Kansas City to Alaska and back this summer. 8,600 miles round trip over 16 days no issues. Common comfort mods are a better seat and bigger windshield. But all that is personal preference.

Science Biker Wow you must be from Kansas City!!!! I’m from Springfield Missouri..... Right now I have a 2016 triump rockett roadster....it’s a big and powerful cruiser..... as much as I love the bike I’ve had several issues with it and I bought it brand new.... so I’m a little afraid of taking it long distance that’s why I was looking at the Yamaha FJR, ...... could you also tell me how long your front tire and how long your back tire last before you have to replace???.... thanks for your help.

@@ruger-hi2tg Tire wear is heavily dependent on your right wrist. Running either a Michelin PR4GT or Perelli Angel GT A-spec, I get about 10K miles on a rear and 12K on a front. Others running the same tires may only get 5K. Just depends how you ride.

why doesn't ANYONE rev up that juicy mill of the FJR..? They all drone around 3500 rpm's and think they are really gettin' at it. How silly to have that great an engine and use 1/4 of it....cwazeeee. Good Lord you are being paced by a Hardley Drivevable..!
