There is another cool feature: When you create a Tower with red and white it turns into a lighthouse
Not just red and white - Any two Alternating colours

there should be DLC for different Cultures, I'd especially like it if you could make your town look Medieval European, Victorian, East Asian, Greek, Roman or Arabian
maybe you could also have dirt roads, fields of crops, farms, Barns, and maybe people and livestock walking around town doing stuff, and it would also be REALLY be cool if you could walk around the town you created.

You can already imagine a Greek version looking like Santorini
I noticed that now greenery can still spawn with an opening, if the openings are archways. And multiple archways facing each other can make pavements surrounded by greenery! And pavements crossing can make a roundabout with a statue in the middle!
Do note that it only accepts the archway if there are building blocks vertically from it two, not just above and to the sides, the top part and the sides have to connect with actual blocks and not just generated connections. But if you already have multiple floors, then you can just put the hole in at ground level and it works. The pavements can be a bit finicky to line up correctly for it to actually work though. And there needs to be one block free space on both sides of the pavement I think.

The game is so incredible, it's so relaxing to be creative. I hope the game makes it big. It has so much potential. Finally a game that is relaxing - no shooting - no war - no competition.

Hey just commenting to let you know that the dining tables can also occur on corner streets. ive had one pop up with 2 connected (towers?) and 3 tiles of water opposite.

Here's one I haven't seen anyone do...alternating colors on a tower gives you a cool lighthouse top. I discovered it using red and white, then experimented with red and green. Likely any two colors will work.

It would be helpful if there were some challenges in the beginning of the game where you can learn how to build a few predefined structures, the levels can get harder so by the end you could build a few towns modelled after real places, that would be really fun
i love building games that I don't require tons of. small adjustments and time consuming details but instead generate small details

You can also have a garden with archway entrances; if you have two across from each other, they'll make a road in the garden.
If you have 4 of those arches on each side you can have a statue

This is the kind of game that was pretty obviously designed for the enjoyment of discovering the details by accident as you play, enjoying the experience of experimenting with your own ideas and the possibilities the game offers as your town unfolds naturally.

Hey dude, just picked up this little gem. Wanted to thank you for your video and tips. It truly is a neat, serene, and cute little builder.
You can make suspended brick towers by putting block on level 1 on a dial pad on 1-3-7-9 and on level 2 on 5. You ca reuse the same technic on a 5 star shape. If you remove the second level and a third level, you get the crane!

There is another option for the grass. If instead of building only a one story enclosure, you can add another level and then leave one building piece out from the first level, which makes an arch and still has green on the inside.

did you know you can hold down left click on a building to get its color and get rid of birds along with a nice sound idk if it was just me but it took me 10 hours of the game to realize this lol

I'm guessing some objects only appear on certain tile coordinates, but always, while on others they never appear at all
I hope they add more animations and visual such as people walking around and night time visual.

if you do for example 1 red base 1 yellow top in a 1x1 area you get a light house top

They should turn this into a city builder challenge/time attack game. Have specific buildings/structures needed and population count within a time limit and so on. 🙂
Maybe as a side mode or something, but at the core it's a toy to play around with.
I think it will ruin the game. It's a passion project that started as a toy than a definite "game". It's supposed to be a creative outlet where you build anything however you want stress free.
How would it ruin the game. You can have both. Play Metro Mini. You can just play creative mode and build the best/nicest metro system or in challenge mode. At the end of the day it’s just an idea. He can do whatever he wants. I just thought is had a nice arcade feel with the ease of use. Perfect for a mobile game.
In 3:15 you forgot to mention the bigger windows on the ground and first floors when a first floor of a different colour is added on top.

How do the game decide if i get a roof or a terrace?
this is tricky at first, but basically if you put like 6 houses next to each other in a second story, it turns that second story into a path, there are other ways, most of them I discover and forget while trying to do a completely different thing lol
I tend to slow down the time lapse videos to 1/4 speed 😅 so I can see what is going on in the vide.

No, they don’t. There will probably be a few more features added and then it will be done, based on previous things by the developer.

Both of these guys are wrong, there is a height limit. I’m not sure the specific number but I think it’s 100-150 tiles.
