I need a first person mode, so I can walk around my town. Or sail around it. Or fly over it. Or jump from one rooftop to the next.

you can change the position of the sun in the sky so that kind of counts as a day/night cycle
This one is my favorite, you are clearly getting much better at keeping designs what you want them to be, I wonder if there are more hidden interactions like the garden, love the new white house idea!
There's laundry hanging up to dry, but I don't know how to get it.
@@luxford60 I think you can seldom get that when there are 2 spires from each other by 1 tile
@christopher I believe the laundry will occur when you have two 2-story buildings next to each other with empty tiles in between

I recently discovered another hidden interaction with the dock crane. If you mess around with buildings on one side or the other you can alter the length to which the hook drops. I got one to sit in line with the top of the base block.
It also depends upon the grid pattern for the buildings. But it is fun to play around with all the same.
At 8:04 there’s a little Easter egg you might not have noticed ❤️
Emory Nelson-Smith the grid is randomly generated but it generated so perfectly that they noticed the heart when building.
I saw the thumbnail for this and instantly went to buy the game. This is exactly the kind of game I love.

this game looks so cool. Hope the developer adds people soon. And wish he'd be thinking in a multipleyer mode where you can take a boat (yeah, I imagine a boat) to visit other player's cities.

How do you get the close-up shots?
Also, people really like big foundations apparently. I built a city kind of like Venice, there are rivers and canals and arches everywhere. Didn't notice gardens was a thing because of that until when I was really close to finishing the map.
WASD can move the camera linearly, helping you get up close. Some shots require a bit of patience cuz the camera collides with the buildings, so its just carefully using lt and rt click a little at a time.

2022/23 still play this game. Wish we had more color pallets or artist inspired themes would be cool.
A clock tower would be a nice addition.

Slightly nervous about the buildings that have front doors opening onto *ladders into the sea*. You only have to step outside with headphones in & not paying attention once

There isnt. It's in early access though and hopefully that can be added at some point.
