There is one single thing that unites Warhammer fans, Dwarf Fortress fans, D&D fans, Deep Rock Galactic fans, Overwatch fans, and Tolkien fans. That one thing being the fact that *A DWARF NEVER DIES*
A good song never dies. Seriously, this started from Yogscast playing Minecraft, and Simon sang only "i'm a dwarf and i'm digging a hole, diggy diggy hole" *that was it* and now here we are, 11 years later, it's still going strong!
Imagine: A dwarf civilization learns of a World ending flood coming that could wipe out all the land… But DEEP within their mine, a Cavern wall could be opened to a Massive canyon; the water would flood the mine, but also give the water Above a place to drain so it won’t take out the surface…. Every dwarf is against it, but One. The song begins! He grabbs his Sledge and Rushes into the mine alone! *song plays while he rushes to the wall that is just thin enough to be broken through. He dives at the wall with his hammer ahead, Breaking the wall and releasing the flood that followed him.* Everyone was saved💪🏻 The dwarves, though reluctant, Relocated. They dug a new mine and with the spoils and tailings of precious rock and stone, they built a mighty statue of the Dwarf that saved them. The End.
from the lonliest cave tunnel that was long lost to time, to the grandest of our dwarf fortresses built upon our blood sweat and beards, we dwarves shall never forget our old ways! Sod to the Urki and their pathetic attempts at crafting mighty weapons, Laugh at the flimsy Asur whose pride is easily broken like glass, and far be from umgi to come close to our historys greatest heroes! WE SHALL MINE TO THE DEPTHS UNEXPLORED, WE SHALL FORGE METALS EVEN THE GODS OF OLD WOULD KILL FOR. AND WE SHALL DRINK IN OUR GREATEST HALLS!. FOR I. AM. A. DWARF!!
This deserves so many more views than it has, never in all my life have I hears such an incredible rendition of this classic! Absolutely masterfully done, bravo!
someone should make a dwarf city map for minecraft matching it , perhaps with a great temple where a statue stands with the gods and every month its the center for a market & feast thats ended with this tune being blasted in 'instrumental vocals' from a massive choir filling the temple of all the gods aka command block that peeks what date it is on the comp running it ;)
I stumbled upon this today, and I have never been more happy to hear something so fantastic as this. Whoever you are, you've done an amazing job, and should be proud of yourself.
I died in God gave me a choice to recreate in a Medieval Age I will choose Medieval ages over ages what we have now does you want to know the fact people like medieval Warriors we used to have only five for materials that they needed to survive didn't overuse materials of the Earth and it killed the materials from the Earth didn't start pollution they're doing everything right before us
The use of the flutes were not a choice I would have thought of, but it works really well. Using the low brass almost exclusively for a slowed down drone is kinda boring though, and really needed more activity to work, like the flutes playing the melody at the same time at the end.
bass is way way overpowering. Put a high pass filter on every instrument channel and remove up to 100hz to open up that space. That should by itself give you a lot of room and those booms will be more impactful. Also play around with panning a bit. Everything centered just makes it crowded. Good effort.
the four words to unite MILLIONS of people from across the world...."I AM A DWARF"
And I am digging a hole
@@Ashley-the-fox DIGGY DIGGY hOLE.
@@lostonessoul5154 we do not fear what lies beneath we can never dig to deep
Born underground! Grown inside a rock womb, the earth is our cradle, the mountain shall become our tomb!
@@Machinewashere Face us on the battlefield, you will meet your doom! We do not fear what lies beneath; we can never dig too deep!
This genuinely sounds like the soundtrack I'd expect to hear in a Dwarven city in a video game.
they need to add it to the "Mines of Moria" game thats up'n'coming
Or an epic movie
I think I'll use it for my Dungeons & Dragons table, when they get to a Dwarven city. ^^
Tho I refuse to believe any actual dwarven city has ever had a glockenspiel played inside its walls (0:53) 😏
(...He says, as if there are "actual dwarven cities" somewhere.)
IF YOU ROCK AND STONE
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE!!!!!
ROCK AND STONE, BROTHER!
ROCK AND STONE!
THAT’S IT LADS, ROCK AND STONE!
ROCK AND STONE, BROTHERS !
ROCK AND STONE!
There is one single thing that unites Warhammer fans, Dwarf Fortress fans, D&D fans, Deep Rock Galactic fans, Overwatch fans, and Tolkien fans. That one thing being the fact that *A DWARF NEVER DIES*
Rock and Stone!
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE?!
If you don't rock and stone, you ain't coming home
Minecraft also, seeing as how that's where this came from.
A good song never dies.

It's not even a Minecraft song anymore, it's become one of *the* dwarven songs
BROTHERS OF THE MINE REJOICE!
SWING SWING SWING WITH ME

SING SING SING WITH ME!
DOWN AND DOWN INTO THE DEEP
WHO KNOWS WHAT WE’LL FIND BENEATH?
Seeing this song grow outside the somewhat niche TH-cam community it sprouted from has been great!
Imagine:

The dwarves, though reluctant, Relocated. They dug a new mine and with the spoils and tailings of precious rock and stone, they built a mighty statue of the Dwarf that saved them.
The End.
(Whistles) And here I thought the song was already epic.
WHAT!? I CANNOT HEAR YOU BECAUSE OF THE SONG!

"I was there when the words were written! When the fun was made, and the jest became the meme! I was there, 3000 years ago."
A fine addition to my collection
ROCK AND STONE
To the bone
Did I hear ROCK AND STONE?
ROCK AND STONE!
STONE AND ROCK!... wait

I stumbled upon this today, and I have never been more happy to hear something so fantastic as this. Whoever you are, you've done an amazing job, and should be proud of yourself.
This song will never die. We, the community it grew alongside, will make sure of it.

I love it how the song Evolved over the Time, so nice, so simple and sooo good :D
Rock and stone in any game with digging
That's it lads, rock and stone!
The song of my people 🥹❤️
Well I'm collecting versions of this song, yours I think is the most beautiful of all the renditions I've heard so far
The universal anthem that unites all dwarves across time and space and multiverses
I feel like I need to play *Dwarf Fortress* with this on loop in the background
or Deep Rock Galactic, basically a game made for the song XD
Was that the one game displayed entirely in ASCII characters?
@@PerseusMax used to be, they had a steam release with graphics but you can still play the ascii version for free
Another good addition for this classic, thanks for doing it :)
ROCK AND STONE, BROTHERS!
CAN I GET A ROCK AND STONE?!
FOR ROCK AND STONE
ROCK AND STONE, EVERYONE!
STONE AND ROCK, oh wait
I got to see the sheet music for this! This is amazing!
The greatest thing I ever heard in my life ❤️❤️

From the ground we came, from the anvil we slaved until the day, the mountain comes to reclaim.

This is amazing!! Excellent job!
This would sound good with a men's choir.
This makes me want to dig until I die or until I awake a Balrog
This should have been in the hobbit when the story of the dwarfs was being told

I'm just saying, they could release a Tolkien-esque DLC and I'd totally down for it.

What software did you use to make this? It’s soo good
Its FL Studio☺️
For the Votaan!
I think my favorite like from diggy diggy hole is “born underground suckled from a teeter stone” and “skin made of iron, steel In our bones”
*teat of stone. It's "suckled from a teat of stone."
FOR IRONFORGE! FOR BRONZEBEARD!
