This is incredible. Imagine just being two dudes fucking around and it comes to this. A bunch of people all around the world singing a song you made just messing around.
What makes it even more powerful is seeing all the people who have kids in these videos. A lot of those would have watched Yogscast from the beginning and is now passing that onto the next generation. We are getting old man.
Ah man, seeing Simon welling up and crying with price, happiness, and emotion was beautiful... He couldn't hide how happy and touched he was by it even if he tried...
I hope that in moments like this that Simon and Lewis can feel how much love there is for them, and the memories we have all made together sharing their antics!
I honestly get emotional whenever I see stuff like this. Like when the dwarwish metal band released a cover for the song, the end bit at the Yogcon and yesterday this song popped up into my recommendations in TH-cam. I feel so proud for both of these guys and for the whole crew really. Remembering when I saw the weird little dwarven song Simon sang so many years ago and then seeing all this makes me glad I've been part of the community for all this time.
Considering how it started as nothing than just an improvised little ditty to pass the time while mining digital blocks, it's truly amazing how far and how long this song has stuck around within the community and beyond
It must feel surreal knowing that you've inspired and given entertainment to literal millions of people over the years. Seeing just a fraction of them repay that kindness from all walks of life, I'd honestly start crying. Thanks for everything, Yogscast. Y'all rock.
Ya know that moment where you can somehow just giggle and make unintelligible sounds fighting back tears cause the levels of wholesome are so high? Yeah thats what happens to me every time i see moments like these where the community shows how much they love the creators. Also whenever i listen to the song itself, i get this feeling of power as strange as it might sound, but that song has given me so much strength... it honestly doesnt surprise me that it has been this successful for so long and probably will remain to be for a while. I know I will be listening to it next year and even in ten years... assuming any of the devices with a copy of the song last that long and i dont forget to transfer it over of course
THIS is what The Yogscast is about. A lovely community. It all started when these lovely two just were themselves over 15+ years ago, and now look what they've built. It makes me so proud to be a Yognaught! His reaction to everyone singing at Yogcon remains one of my favorite moments of Lewis of 2019.
You can see how emotional this made Simon. At 1:55 when he’s singing it under his breath/mouthing it. Just another reminder as to how wonderful these two are and what they’ve built together
It's times like this that you really get a feel for how massive the Yogs community actually is. Honestly makes me wish I actually remembered to join in on this because damn it was such a cool project!
"I don't remember any Diggy Diggy Hole song, Lewis." "It... you came up with it. During Minecraft? We had a big recording with you in the lead part." "Doesn't ring a bell."
Projects like these are great for putting a face behind all of the numbers. This is only a small proportion of all the people they've positively affected as well. What a wonderful moment.
Who would have guessed that Simon's joke ditty in an old Minecraft video would become the anthem of an entire community. This genuinely brought me to tears when I saw it live. The power of nostalgia is hurtful and beautiful.
You skipped the bit where Lewis wanted to stay in the studio during their break to watch it, it was so sweet. The chat on twitch at this time was amazing too. We were all saying how much we love each other ❤ forever proud of this community
Love how this community just comes together every year and becomes the wholesome charity project ever. I bet Lewis and Simon never thought they’d impact people like this, it’s so beautiful
The Yogscast have have some real crappy times these past few years, and I love it when the community is able to rally. Not just around our boys, gals and other pals, but around each other and really appreciate these two friends who have done their best to just have fun and make people laugh. Been a YogNaught for 10 years! Never going away guys!
Anyone else tear up? I’ve been watching these two since Tekkit when I was a kid. These guys have built something so special, this felt like a wonderful full circle for them
This made me smile, I grew up with these guys, and the memories from survival island, how to survive a night, to the entire series of israphael, and many more... This song and a shit tonne others they and other minecraft TH-camrs made. Man, I haven't smiled like that for 10-15 years... Not to forget, the community... All shown doing their part to be apart of this community video... Loved it. Oh yeah... This song began back in 2011... Randomly made whilst playing Minecraft making a new video for Shadow of Israphael... Episode 8?...
A lot of people may not know what to say, all be it "it is all what we've been waiting for" but, all's what we need to know is " I am a darf an I'm digging an hole"!!, we love you all and our appreciation for the yogscast cant extend to the reach we wish!! thank you all so much for our childhood and thank you for carrying on thoghout everything! We as fans honestly appreciate everything you do for us and we will forever be grateful for the times we have shared together. lots of love, a 2004 yognaught x :) x
whilst we have lost people throughout the years both as fans and association members, The Yogscast continues to grow, both as a fan base and an association. I honestly and truely wish the best for the Yogscast as a collective as THIS IS MY CHILD HOOD!!. I am so happy for the new members as If I was a part of the selective process I would have no qualms of having these members as a part of such a prestigious collective of gamers! I do honestly believe that every single person of the current yogs comes together to form the best "team" who we as fans could possibly "hope for". I do think I speak for most of the fan base by saying, We love you all and we honestly wish the best for everything which is to come of the new yogs. Please continue being the best what you can be and making us laugh because we all appreciate all the work that you do.
Strike the rock lads, it better break before you ! For you are and all your kin are some of the proudest dwarven hearts I’ve ever had the plesure of drinking with🍺
All those people, multiple bands and orchestras, all playing and singing their renditions of a song made up by a guy pissing about on a game. Imagine a doodle you drew whilst on the phone to someone appearing in the Tate modern and featuring in exhibitions around the bloody world 😂 absolute madness boys. Well done!
At the end of the video is what they're referring to I believe where Lewis is basically realizing just how far he and Simon have come to the point they've done their own convention where everyone is singing Diggy Diggy Hole at the end of the convention.
@@lightsonitzekioro3918 That song is just so delightfully silly and easy to learn, always love singing it when hearing it at Windrose concerts and the likes. Simons little fun jingle growing into the symbol of their community. They both should be very proud of themselves, helping so many people, not only through their charity drives every year, but also through their friendly banter, lighting the darker days we all experience at some point.
Lewis wanting to watch it again was so wholesome. He looked so proud and happy.
and he truly deserves to be proud and happy, doing so much good
The moment at YogCon was genuinely my first thought when I saw this live, Lewis was giving off exactly the same vibe
he was truly one of the dads in that moment
This is incredible. Imagine just being two dudes fucking around and it comes to this. A bunch of people all around the world singing a song you made just messing around.
Testament to Simon’s genius
What makes it even more powerful is seeing all the people who have kids in these videos. A lot of those would have watched Yogscast from the beginning and is now passing that onto the next generation. We are getting old man.
Ah man, seeing Simon welling up and crying with price, happiness, and emotion was beautiful... He couldn't hide how happy and touched he was by it even if he tried...
Every like 5-10 years a yogscast fan will find a project to do and try to make Simon cry and I’m absolutely here for him. He’s such a gentle giant
I hope that in moments like this that Simon and Lewis can feel how much love there is for them, and the memories we have all made together sharing their antics!
I was so busy watching Lewis I didn't even notice Simon's expression of sheer joy live. He practically turned into the sun baby from Teletubbies

This is 1000% me when I'm a dwarf and I'm digging a hole
This was so wholesome I actually died.
Oh damn, rip to a real one. Gone too soon bro.
@@dudekazoo Nah, the time was just right
f
I'm digging a hole for you bro
You can't follow up the wholesome with that ending. That's illegal. The ninjas!

10+? make that more like 15+! where does the time go..
@@adm_ezriOh you're right, it's not 2020 anymore. LOL Let me fix that. Time moves so fast.

Wow. This got me emotional. Lewis and Simon. What lads. Made my high school years so much easier. This is wonderful for them to see and experience.
Hope your current ears are treating you well too ❤❤

It has to be something else to see the all faces of the people who watched your content for years.
The emotions on Simon's face are what really did it for me.
The pure happines from both of our heroes here is heartmending.
Simon just sitting there looking like 😄 is so cute
It's honestly so insane how Lewis and Simon has changed a literal generations childhood for the better. And their team now, So wild..
one of my favorite parts of jingle jam is every year the yogs realize how much we love them
i think we all got a tad emotional watching this live
Seriously..... Watching live and I was welling up for Lewis. Such an amazing project
Seeing how incredibly happy and awed Simon and Lewis are honestly makes me cry
"I don't remember any Diggy Diggy Hole song, Lewis."
"It... you came up with it. During Minecraft? We had a big recording with you in the lead part."
"Doesn't ring a bell."
I've never been prouder to be part of something
That shot of Lewis looking out over the crowd is just such a beautiful bit of filmmaking
That is the most godawful wholesome I've ever seen Simon be. Makes me proud of this community and Lewis and Simon to see them so moved
His face was so precious!
It must be so surreal that a song they made in a few seconds so many years ago has turned into this. That they've touched these many lives and more.

I took part in this and it was so much fun to take part in. So many people came together for this iconic song and it was awesome to see

when something warm and light hearted turns not that.
This is a company made from friendship. And I hope it keeps kicking the asses of the old ways of cold corporations. So proud of where we've come.
I spent so much time watching for myself singing in this that I missed their reactions... Someone cutting onions in here I think

I dont know if i was the only one that needed multiple watches of this to notice Lewis was also in the video singing.
Lewis at the end, majestically surveying his empire 😂

The clip from yogcon with Lewis looking out with pride is always so wholesome.

Simon looks so happy, Lewis looks like a proud dad
Man, the magic of early youtube.
That feeling when the johns are... _so_ long
I hope Simon and Lewis are proud of their accomplishments, because they should be.

Who is cutting onions?
♥️♥️♥️
This is cool, now we just need a version by Eric Whitacre
i mean, the next logical step is to host a professional orchestra for that song.
STG I saw Gail Lewis
im the dog
Feels like this would be something they would have played if they quit youtube
