Itachi could've become a crow sage. There's a popular crow god in Japanese myth called Yatagarasu, that represents guidance, rebirth and rejuvenation. So, on top of looking even cooler, he could have his ninja cancer cured and possibly amped genjutsu.
For Hidan, I propose an alternate situation: he can't unlock the 8th gate because his healing repairs his heart's tenketsu point as soon as he breaks it, negating the entire effect.
I do wonder if his immortality may be the inverse of the 8 gates. isolating cells and keeping them perpetually alive in circuits instead of opening the chakra network's limits so safety is disregarded. The Jashin ritual may be a procedure where safety overcorrects and crystalizes.
Would he lose all of his Chakra tho??? It's all going to his hart to make it beat fast and if her took it out the wouldn't he just remove all of his chakra
I always thought a perfect build would be a toad sage byakugan user. It would eliminate their blind spot as well as better there already OP awareness. Their chakra rotations would be on another level being sage chakra as well as possibly applying frog kumetai for long range pokes and an extended invisible bubble. Another op combo would be sharingan + lightning cloak they both enhance reaction time, with the 2X reaction and OP speed
Byakugan + Toad sage was exactly my idea for a combo too. Both are Taijutsu and Perception boosts, they perfectly compliment each other. Add something like 8 Gates or Strength of a 100 seals and you have the ultimate melee build.
@@exodiaexodus not if the gentle fist shuts down their chakra network before they activate the gates and if they do open them just reverse summon away or summon the belly of mountain toad and GG. its highly unlikely a perfect sage + byakugan user would even be touched by a seventh gate user due to their lake of speed. the 3rd Raikage was handled by sage mode Naruto even though Naruto was slower in that form. btw this build wasn't intended for raw strength/power just to suggest a symbiotic relationship between two powers.
I think the issue is that with 100 healings + Gates, without the immortality of Hidan, you kinda age yourself to death really quickly. Tsunade got that OP Senju-Uzumaki lifespan helping her out there but Sakura doesn't have any OP alien DNA to give her an extended lifespan to burn on abusing the 100 healings to its full potential. She basically just turns herself into Hashirama 2.0 if you believe the theory (like I do) that he aged himself to death by healing.
I also feel like Nick didn't properly calculate the amount of chakra Sakura had. I am not sure how the strength of a hundred seal worked but I think it was a flat amount that equated to 100 of either Tsunade or Sakura. I also believe that Might Guy had more chakra than the both of them. Don't get me wrong, it would still be a massive boost, just not as much as Nick was explaining.

Having the hundred healings as well as sage abilities would be the strongest, let me explain. If you seal any extra Chakra you have in the hundred healings constantly, theoretically you can purposefully gather sage Chakra but instead of infusing it in your Chakra network you instead seal sage Chakra in a separate seal much in the same manner (which would allow you to enter sage mode instantly without needing to stay still just by opening the seal). If you completely open those seals, then collide those sealed Chakras (which wouldnt be hard if you have the Chakra control needed to create the 100 healinga) and destroy them, it would give you Baryon power like Naruto and Kuruma created, except you would be able to stop the reaction by closing one or both of your seals and your Chakra reserves wouldn't be effected like Naruto and you wouldn't have to die like Kuruma. The craziest part is its completely obtainable for people to do both of those things (so long as you have a large Chakra reserve in order to use sage Chakra), Sakura learned 100 healings in about 4 years and Naruto learned to be a sage in less than a month, it's totally obtainable in the Naruto universe.

So basically Hashirama. He had sage mode and his natural ability to heal was stated by Madara to be more powerful than tsunades hundred healings jutsu.
They have something like that. It's called Fury. It's the most powerful offensive Jutsu in the series outside of Tailed-Beast Bombs and specific Kekkei Mora. It works by gathering the Nature Chakra into a seal, then releasing it all at once in a _ginormous_ explosion.
I think if Minato also had Mabui's Heavenly Transfer Technique, there's no telling how creative and powerful that combo could be. He could probably teleport anything and anyone at will, which someone as smart as Minato could use to devastating effect.
I think Karin with the heavenly transfer would also and she's able to isolate individual chakras from great distance and could just teleport things onto the people
I think Kcm with mabui's ability would be more powerful because with the kcm your body would be protected and could teleport anywhere with your capabilities without a mark plus with negative emotion sensing that comes with kcm you could feel people's presence kinda like Karen's mind eye

I’m not saying it’s the strongest but I’ve always loved the idea of a snake sage that could use shadow possession because of the way a snake sage can manipulate the environment to move however they want, they could create shadows anywhere and increase the strength/hold of the shadow possession

Just imagine if he could create the chakra threads himself. * they can be launched and attach to any surface near instantly * they can transfer chakra to deliver gentle fist at range * they can be used to both push and pull physical materials, even if you can't directly hit your target. * they can be set in advance for traps, and lateral attacks * Hyuga can strike in any and all directions, firing strings from any of their chakra points.
wait... surely if you combine a healing factor with the eighth gate, it just heals the wound in the heart that causes you to enter the form, right? So Hidan could try to use the eighth gate, but would just heal his heart and drop out of the form? Even Sakura couldn't necessarily use it longer than Guy, the hundred healings would just give her a way to turn it off by activating the mitotic regeneration.
That's what I thought too. Hidan probably just can't use the eight gates but the hundred healing combo would still work because she would be able to target her healing so she could use it as long as she wants and stop whenever she wants.
I thought Hidan using his ability with 8th Gate would be so broken because his ability reflects the damage he sustains on the person whose blood he ingested. So not only is Hidan immortal, his enemy would receive the damage of 8th gate
That’s only if he can set up his curse jutsu. Hell he’d probably not even be able to form the symbol. It has to be drawn in blood, Hidan usually uses his own, but under the 8th Gate’s power, his own blood is turning to mist as it exits his body. You could probably say it doesn’t need to be his blood, the symbol just must be drawn in someone’s blood, but that’s a lot of blood needed so by the time you get enough if you get it from the person you’re fighting, he’s probably dead anyway. The combat applications of the curse is irrelevant compared to the power of the 8th Gate anyway.
@Crow senpai i don't believe so. In his fight with Shikamaru, he cut him and licked the blood off his weapon to activate his justu, then he began hurting himself. At least that's how i remember it

One thing I’ve liked to think about is how to make Sakura on par with Naruto and Sasuke, and it’s a fun combination of abilities. Her 100 healings, plus sage mode and 8 gates. It’s the combination of all of the strongest abilities not tied to one’s birth or bloodline or something sealed in them. It would make someone on par with the two mains without them needing stupidly powerful chakra or eyes. A great deal of chakra control would also certainly help. So like if Sakura had just sage mode (of course Tsunde teaching her, maybe it would be Hashirama’s she never mastered) plus 100 healings she actually would have been near to Sasuke and Naruto in the War Arc. Then add in 8 gates in Boruto era so she can beat down gods while the other two are nerfed (I assume that Sakura could at least learn to use her healing as she chooses while doing gates)
i mean just giving her sage mode would make her on par with the 2 mains in boruto era too, she's the one who got stronger from the war to boruto comparitively

Jugo's inherent abilities + Aburame Clan's insect body I feel like these would synergize well as he is already able to connect with animals and other creatures. The thought of being a transforming hive weapon that can cause an infestation on any opponent when touched. I can imagine forming a pseudo turret arm and shooting them out rapid fire to infest at long ranges.
I always wished Sakura and Rock Lee had gotten married so I could see their child use 8 Gates + Strength of 100 Seal and both fighting styles together.
How to make Hidan more dangerous: Use the Eight Gates in combination with his voodoo ability. Hidan takes his enemy's blood, activates the ability, and then goes seventh gate. Then Boom, his opponent's bones all start breaking and their muscles tear. This means he could torture them for longer.
The Flying Raijin and Kamui combination is something I always thought of and I think is the most leathal combination for the Flying Raijin. Obito was fast enough to dodge the Raikage and that was just with one MS. We find out that Kamui is faster when both eyes are together, so with Dual MS Kamui, you're basically untouchable. Also just base Sharingan with Flying Raijin is insane. I was really hoping that Sasuke would pick that jutsu up since losing the Rinnegan, but that never happened...
Any combination of Sage Mode, the Byakugan (or more specifically, the Gentle Fist), and the 100 Healings Seal would have been absolutely bonkers. Sage Mode + Byakugan. If a person with the Byakugan was in Sage Mode, they could inject sage chakra into that person. If the target is unable to properly balance sage chakra (which most people can't), let's just say I hope they like frogs. On another note, imagine the huge amp each of their eight trigrams jutsus would get, especially Rotation which is literally just chakra. Imagine if Hinata had Sage Mode. Not only would she not be using her own chakra while using it, but could replenish her own chakra with Twin Lion Fists. Last but most definitely not least, they could be the best sensory ninja ever. Period. Sage Mode + 100 Healings. This combo is simple, but effective. Enjoy near infinite chakra and the MASSIVE strength boost. Anyone who could master both would naturally be a chakra control monster as well. Byakugan + 100 Healings. This is more Hinata specific with the Twin Lion Fists. She could use it to continually refuel the 100 Healings Seal. As long as she can keep can hitting her opponent, she could heal herself infinitely (or until her cells give out lol). Outside of Hinata, imagine a hyuga that could spam 64 palms and rotation.
only problem is high level opponents can easily dodge your gentle fist if your not fast enough but sage mode + gentle fist does allow a long distance piercing of tenketsu points, actually anyone with access to those two would be able to do crazy stuff and even more advanced gentle fist techniques, like attacking with giant piercing chakra arms or something
I read a book where one of the characters essentially had this (long range perception, gentle fist style attacks, and near infinite chakra). The character once struck an enemy with a "gentle fist" so large it hits and destroys all the chakra points at once, shattering their entire spiritual network, and killing them instantly.
Here's a bit of a basic combination that has potential to be _absurdly_ powerful: 1x 3-Tomoe Sharingan (or a higher evolution) + 1x Byakugan. The hypothetical spawn of the two mightiest Clans in Konoha, wielding all of the monstrous powers of both. Biologically, _nothing_ prevents this from ever occurring, and Kishimoto himself stated that this is the end-result of a union between an Uchiha and a Hyuga. Both Clans, however, tend to be blood-purists (Uchiha being the more extreme offenders in this case), so it simply hasn't happened yet. Both Dojutsu have a lot of overlap in terms of abilities, which makes them remarkably compatible to begin with. Their _differences_ are where things get incredibly interesting. First example: A Sharingan grants an Uchiha the ability to easily copy techniques they observe being used. A Byakugan lets a Hyuga see through physical obstructions in an almost perfect sphere around their entire person, sometimes for _several miles_ with perfect clarity, and they can also _process_ this enormous amount of sensory information without having a stroke. A wielder of both? Well, they can effectively steal all of the Jutsu and techniques of every combatant on a battlefield in moments, without even needing to lift a finger. This is basically the worst possible thing that can happen to a Hidden Village; the Hidden Mist even devoted a large portion of _their_ Anbu to hunting down defectors so that the secrets of their Jutsu _can't_ be stolen! Second example: A Sharingan, particularly at the 3-Tomoe stage and higher, grants a remarkable amount of foresight to an Uchiha, allowing them to accurately predict the movements of a foe in advance. Byakugan _easily_ allow Hyuga to see their opponent's Chakra Network, and even Tenketsu, which is something only the most advanced of Mangekyo Sharingan can replicate outside of the Hyuga Clan. A wielder of both? You now have the most _ridiculously_ powerful practitioner of Gentle Fist... ever. They know where every one of their opponent's Tenketsu will be in relation to themselves up to several _seconds_ in advance, as well as which ones are going to be used in the process of molding Chakra and casting Jutsu; not only can they target specific Chakra Nodes, but they can target _specific_ ones that are most detrimental to their opponent's fighting style, and their precognition will make _stopping them_ borderline impossible. Targeting the cores of projectile Jutsu to disperse them with Gentle Fist? _Much_ easier when you can predict their trajectories in advance. Third example: Sharingan are known for allowing their wielders to not only resist Genjutsu with relative ease, as does the Byakugan, but also _cast_ Genjutsu of remarkable power upon making eye-contact; it is so infamous for this ability that other Villages trained their Shinobi to _never_ fight Uchiha in single-combat whenever possible, and always having at least _one_ of their Ninja trying to attack the Uchiha from the rear, where eye-contact cannot be made. Throw a Byakugan into the mix though? Well, this Uchiha-Hyuga prodigy can now technically cast Genjutsu on anyone without actually making eye-contact anymore because _everywhere_ is the same as being looked at directly, making the commonly-known anti-Sharingan measures useless, and they can potentially do this to any target for _miles_ around them. The one blindspot that Byakugan have behind the first thoracic vertebra? Combined with the predictive powers of the Sharingan, this may not even be a problem; also, simply turning your head and torso by a small amount (like when _walking_ for instance) moves the blindspot to a _radical_ degree, meaning that the only real way to get the drop on them is to target them from _extreme_ ranges, or use Space-Time Ninjutsu, which is notoriously difficult and Chakra-depletive. The singular Mangekyo Sharingan this individual could eventually unlock would basically make the above examples even _worse_ for everyone else. Imagine using Kamui on an unsuspecting target from _miles_ off. Or Amaterasu. Or Kotoamatsukami, or Tsukiyomi, or _any_ of the horrible Genjutsu that MS wielders have the potential to unlock. Heck, even the basic enhancement of the normal Sharingan's abilities plus the Chakra boost that comes with awakening a Mangekyo Sharingan are enough. Sure, they'd never be able to acquire Susanoo since that requires a pair of Mangekyo Sharingan; they'd also never _need_ to, because nobody is ever going to be able to get _close_ enough for that level of defense to be necessary.
You may have already done the following suggestion but an interesting extension of this idea could be: what combination of two abilities most significantly increases the power *of those abilities*. This almost completely removes all the obvious abilities from consideration, because yes you can make combinations that are incredibly powerful, but when the base abilities are already so powerful, is it really that much of a relative increase?
Sasuke could learn the 100 seals to compensate his lacking chakra caused by rinnegan. If you combine that with an Orochimaru cursed seal (or any other way he can use Sage chakra), he could also save that better version of chakra. Now he also has basically super healing, so might as well learn 8 gates 💀
I've always thought that Byakugan Plus frog kumite. Would be deadly as you can throw attacks and then have your chakra hit one of their chakra points that they aren't even attempting to defend because they saw your punch going somewhere else It would be cool as I feel like himawari is set up to go down this path potentially
Hey Nick, I was rewatching an old vid of yours and I think based on evidence he's a snake sage. 1: because of his astounding life force, he 100% would have survived the white snake sage bite. 2: snake sages (according to the wiki atleast) are granted the ability to breathe life into in animate objects which is present in the sage arts we see him use. 3: his sage mode facial markings have 2 very similar fang like points that cradle his nose similar to kabuto's sage transformation. 4: while toad sage markings seem to take from warmer red color palettes like red and orange, kubuto and mitsuki's transformations take heavy coloring from the cooler end of the spectrum with purples and greens and in most non anime media hashirama's markings are colored green. 5: the circle marking on his forehead bears resemblance to an ouroboros which in addition to being a symbol of completion also is represented by a serpent or snake eating it's own tail. I'm just saying, the evidence is there to support it and it seems more likely than slug or another animal. Bonus: the white snake sage somehow knows of atleast 1 other person to survive the process in their life time aside from orochimaru (but this one doesn't have quite as much bearing directly like the rest). Idk, could be worth another vid.
None of the jutsu mentioned in this video are as broken as this combo. Itachi's Totsuka Blade and Sasuke's Amenotejikara. Every battle would be over in a few seconds because if your opponent is within sight, they get teleported into a sword that ignores all durability.

Usually by switching places with his sword when he's being grabbed by his opponent or such... It would be more difficult when the sword is part of a Susanoo, so switching places with the sword wouldn't be really viable, but...
The sharingan + flying raijin makes the Uchiha into the perfect policeforce. U just put the seal on their stomachs so that, once they have broken out, you could teleport in front of them and put them into an instant genjutsu.
Tenten's dimensional storage ability is a widely overlooked power which is far stronger than anyone gives her credit for. * combine with medical ninjutsu, and you can "re-grow" limbs instantly. * use the above to store and use ANY dojutsu at will. (sans legal ramifications) * not sure if you can link 2 of the sealing scrolls together, but if you can, that's a lot less chakra intensive than Flying-Thunder-God. * doesn't Momoshiki store incoming jutsu, and then launch the same right back? What exactly stops Tenten from doing that? Because I'm thinking the answer to that is "nothing". * Kamui dimension? Yeah, the last guy I couldn't beat in a fight is right here in this scroll... (I think Sai does that in the War arc, actually. Why is Tenten never shown using this on anyone?) So, um, not really a list of "broken combinations" so much as one "criminally under-rated" jutsu.
Simplest answer is, she can't. She's only ever seen storing inanimate objects on her scrolls. The scroll storage isn't even exclusive to her she just does it better. She stored so much sea water to fill a lake in one of the fillers (which had fishes in them now that I think about it I'm not sure).
She was never shown to seal chakra, let alone Ninjutsu. She stores weapons. The rest is too much of a stretch even for head canon. But imagine if she combined the combat mastery with all these weapons!
@@MMAli-rq8kd That's correct but in Boruto, the people who were making scientific ninja tools for the Leaf village already had a bunch of ninjutsu stored in sealing scrolls so Tenten could just store a bunch of those and then just whip all those different ninjutsu whenever she wants. She would still get folded tho cause it's no better than the scientific ninja tool Boruto used in the first Chunnin exam
@@MMAli-rq8kd Even if she can only seal weapons (although I believe she can seal jutsu too, Jiraya sealed Amaterasu and he isn't specialized in sealing scrolls like Tenten is), she's still underutilizing that ability. She stores giant weapons which take a lot of chakra to summon and which people easily dodge. She stores a shitload of random weapons and throws them at the enemy hoping something hits. Instead, hear me out, she could store away poisoned needles. Get thousands of them into a scroll, apply as many different poisons as you can to different needles to make finding an antidote harder. Get in the middle of a battlefield, use Twin Rising Dragons and everyone is poisoned, GG. Tenten could also theoretically seal away kunais with explosive tags attached to them, and releasing a scroll filled with them will unleash a barrage of explosions over a large area, making it nearly impossible to dodge. Just with those two abilities she'd b stronger than Deidara , Konan and Hanzo. Keep in mind she could probably use her chakra threads to make the explosions and poisons follow you around.
I would love a training montage of Hinata learning Seven Heavens Breathing Method from shinra and or Lee trying to introduce the technique to her and maybe a mission to the sand to learn the technique. Owl chakra mode with twin lion fists would look and be so cool.
Hidan with 8 Gates is like Deku with Eri on his back. He continuously exert force that results to excessive damage to his body as well as continuous regeneration is also applied, meaning that he will continue to suffer while also benefitting from the boost.

Man I feel like the welcoming approach. Thousand armed murder used by the fire monk guy could be paired to make some crazy op combos too. Like give him iron sand or a susanoo for defense or something and he could do some damage. Seems it can be so much better than what was shown to us.

I think Flying Thunder God + Sharingan in the case of anyone else would be unstoppable but Minato already displays the fastest reflexes in Naruto. So I think byakugan would be better for him specifically. Being able to see up to half a mile in all direction would make him god like. Side note: kamui + FTG would go nuts. It’s a shame Obito didn’t return to the leaf. Imagine 3 space time ninjutsu users on one squad. Minato, Kakashi and Obito would be invincible together.
For me, the most op combo will be kamiu and sword of totsuka, If we don't factor heavy chakra consumption . Being untouchable is the best defense Being unblockable is the best offense, not to mention, you can kamui somes head from a distance with its other ability
I argue that, if Hidan really wanted to fight someone with absolutely ridiculous chakra pool, I concur that if he entered the 8th gate he wouldn't die but he would still regain his chakra after 8th gates drains him, because essentially what it is is shattering the limiter on your tenketsu (that might be spelled wrong.) Point in the heart, that being said, the burning chakra from the heart beating that fast, it would run out of chakra but as soon as it did it would repair the damage of the tenketsu point, thus not actually cutting off his chakra, because his healing factor is literally instant, you mentioned him putting the scythe in his heart, and it practically seems like it vanishes that part of the blade
Best combination. Karin's chakra sensing and Yakumo Kurama whose genjutstu was... real? She could sense you miles away and just destroy you. You can't get out of her genjutsu because you don't know you're in it. They dont say how far she can project it. But they had to lock her away in a pocket dimension for safety reasons. So we'd have to assume that she doesn't have a range. She used it to strike the hokage's office with lighting. Think about that. A genjutsu working on an inanimate object. She pretty much warps reality with a thought.
Sage mode + 100 Healings + Baryon Mode. Burning stored chakra against nature energy would ensure that the user would survive and be able to use it over and over again
Slug sage Gaara would have been interesting. Having access to the byaku seal to store chakra would have allowed him to raise to even greater strength than he did, allowing for greater offense. Defensively, he would have been able to buff up his sand armor to greater levels. Katsuyu + his sand shields would let him protect his villagers better from attacks like Deidra used on him. He's often depicted not having to move to use his sand either, so I imagine he'd be able to pull in senjustu constantly while in battle. Imagine an attack like pain did on the leaf, but everyone was surrounded with a sand bubble/shell as well as the slugs for healing and communication. Shino with flying raijin would have been scary as well. Once tagged, you're always at risk to be tagged with any of his insects super easy. Could easily have a whole new method to find ways to make his bugs work.
Nothing beats the combinations of both kamuis. Intangible, teleportation, long ranged offensive teleportation, susano with giant shuriken that teleport away anything it touches. I would take this over anything else on the list.
I love your list of ideas, but I have 1 problem: Hashirama's feats with Wood release are already "combination abilities", and cannot therefore be used as a gauge for how strong wood release really is. There a few abilities shown in Naruto which are hard to categorize as Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, etc. Things like Hydrofication, and Uzamaki Chakra reserves can't rightly be called kekkei genkai, but they are an obvious hereditary benefit. Hashirama had those kinds of chakra reserves, and then some. AND had sage mode. If you look at any other user of wood release (Yamato, white zetsu) who do not have near infinite levels of chakra, its utility seems to drop significantly. That's not to say 'wood release is not a good ability'--because it obviously is a good ability, but that using Hashirama as a baseline for its power is very misleading.
What would happen if you turned someone who could use the 8 inner gates into a human puppet? would they still be able to use the inner gates and have puppets who could use extremely powerful taijutsu?
I'd say "no". puppets don't really have their own chakra reserve, they don't feel pain or emotion. they don't "die" really. The 8 gates work by unlocking limiters that all living things have, but since the puppets don't have those limiters to begin with, I don't think you can switch them off. (another way to say that is that ninja puppets already have all 8 gates open, but are so weak that it doesn't matter.)
Hidan wouldn't be stuck with his 8th gate personnel open. He would be able to fully remove his heart, closing his 8th gate. Once he regrows his heart, he would be back to normal. There is no reason to believe that he would be stuck with his 8th gate open after regenerating.
Karin's "Mind's eye" sensing and Mabui's item teleportation. You can "see" your target from a safe place and teleport a weapon strait into their neck, heart, head, etc.
I always liked the idea of a Huga studding puppets. Theoretically they could create chakra threads from every kentetsu point. This could let them control way more puppets or utilize chakra threads in their tyjutsu like Hisoka's bungy-gum
I would love to see ten ten learn flying rajin, when she got the special weapons in the war I was hoping she would get a power up of some sort, like a massive charka boost. Providing she had Minato's Chakra pool and she somehow got a hold of the flying rajin scroll, she could summon hundreds of tagged kunais, launch them at you and you will have to guess where to block, worst yet if she mix in some paper bombs on some of them.
Great video idea, I used to do this all the time just for fun and there's so many interesting combinations to go through. This could be a great new series to pursue. (One of my favorites is jinchuriki shino)

See I think that Hidan would become exhausted through losing all of his Chakra, and then just pass out, or even die. While unconscious, or dead, his body would start to heal itself. The healing process would bring his heart back from ash, to include the puncture spot from the eighth gates release, and then soon after he would probably awaken during the healing process, which would be excruciatingly painful, or after the process was done. Now I think that if it were to happen this way that his Chakra would come back as well.
I think chackra deplition may be something that can kill hidan, it was stated that lack of oxygen and food can kill him so since chakra seems to be as elemental to people in the naruto world as food then I think that is something from which he is not comming back.

Dornez from Hellsing)
Funny thing about the Totska Blade and Yata Mirror, is by context those weren’t powers inherent to Itachi’s Susanoo. Orochimaru claimed he was been searching for the Totska Blade for years and was surprised it was in Itachi. He speaks of it like it was a physical item which wouldn’t be the case if its entire existence was part of Itachi’s Susanoo. My theory, at one point they probably were real objects. Both the Totska Blade and Yata Mirror are referred to as “Spirit Weapons.” My interpretation is these were special weapons that were probably physical manifestations of chakra, similar to the Tailed Beasts, that once bound to a person were stored in their spirit and could be summoned at will. Considering the Susanoo is also considered an extension of the user’s will, or Spirit, Itachi probably found the two weapons wherever they were hidden away, and when bound, the weapons probably manifested in Itachi’s Susanoo as it was also a manifestation of his spirit. Meaning with his death they were either lost forever, or perhaps, also like the Tailed Beasts, dispersed as chakra to one day remanifest for someone else to claim in the future.
If Hidan had the 8 Gates he could go up against Deepa, Victor, Delta, Boro, Kashin Koji and Jigen/Isshiki Otsutsuki and possibly Ten-Tails Jinchuriki Madara Uchiha.
I always had the Idea of a "Fury + 100 Seals" combo where you combine the seals of both jutsu into a "sage mode" battery without the weakness of Jugos Kekkei Genkai. You can just activate it and have a boatload of Senjutsu at your disposal. Or combining the 100 seals with a Bijuu to have less of a battery and more of a nuclear power plant on your forehead.
Boil Release and Jugo Clan Kekkei Genkai. The user would be able to constantly/passively absorb nature energy, mix it with their own chakra, and not only constantly stay in unrivaled strength mode, but a much stronger version because they’d be burning senjutsu. They wouldn’t have to worry about absorbing to much because they could just heat it up and burn only away. The normal unrivaled strength was enough to damage Kaguya. A sage mode version would have to be near god tier
Byakugan : 8 Trigrams 64 Palms and Explosion Release, even if we don't know a lot about it, it's probably possible to have a kind of Delayed Explosion ability where eash hit of the 64 palms would put a mine on your body that would explode on command or in a few seconds.
Quick Thought... Would the 100 healings heal the pierced tenketsu point that opens the 8th gate, thus closing the gate? Sure you can take the damage and then use the 100 healings, but then that's it. If you pierce it again it'll just heal and not work while it's active. Then you can't use it again until 100 healings is ready to go again, which takes time to build up (right?) Dont get me wrong, being able to open the 8th gate more than once is awesome on it's own, just not suuuuper broken... Thoughts?
Choji with the 100 healings seal he could fill his seal by eating snacks plus if he had that level of chakra control his butterfly mode wouldn’t leak chakra out of his back it would simply covert his fat and chakra into monstrous strength and speed
Shadow Clones + Base State Mangekyou? I presume that since injuring a shadow clone doesn't return the damage to the user, a shadow clone using Mangekyou abilities wouldn't cause the degeneration of the original pair of eyes. Possibly also extended to Izanagi and Izanami.
I would love to see the byakugan combined with puppet control. Imagine a puppet using gentle fist and controlled by a user that could be really far or truly hidden because of the byakugan's ability to see through solid objects and at a distance. It also covers the weaknesses of both: gentle fist users tend to lack ranged options and just imagine that you finally manage to close the distance on the puppet user you've been fighting only to discover that you are in melee with a hyuuga member. Is it the most broken combo, no, but it sure would be cool to see and would have so many cool options like attaching chakra threads to someone's chakra points or puppets using air palm and gentle fist style
The greatest beneficiaries for sage mode would be Juugo and Gaara, but for opposite reasons. Juugo can just passively absorb nature chakra, so he would get the benefits of any sage mode with no downsides. Gaara, meanwhile, can fight completely still, his sand is attacking you, and while you're dealing with that, or a rampaging Bijuu, he has all the time in the world to keep collecting sage juice
Well if opening the 8th gate means you have to puncture the heart, and Hidan has super healing; wouldn’t it mean that once the puncture healed the 8th would then close? We are assuming that the 8th simply never closes. What we don’t know is if the puncture is a prerequisite for the 8th gate being open. No puncture, no opened gate. If this is the case, Hidan would not be able to open the 8th gate. - As a side note Gamabunta plus Sussano is scary. Ma and Pa’s singing jutsu and the Tsukiyomi would be crazy OP. Paralyze an entire squadron and then torture everyone for 72 hrs in three seconds. Then again didn’t Itachi let his girlfriend live the happiest life ever in a nano second right before he killed her?
Tsukuyomi appears to have variable duration(inside of it, outside is always a second I believe.) But what causes that variation is indeterminate. I'd say that the resistance of the target shortens it, and most people who were subjected to Tsukuyomi broke out in approximately 3 days.

All information is bombarded on the victim to the point they are so overwhelmed they can’t do anything but experience what’s happening. Time stretches out infinitely. So a second become a very relative and loose term. Which would take precedent? Tsukyomi, which is instantaneous upon eye contact. Or the Infinite Expansion freezing Itachi so he can only experience what is going on. You can still think and be aware but nothing else. What happens if Tsukyomi takes precedent while the second is stretched out to the length of a year?
You know what would be funny? Hidan's blood ritual + the 8th gate. Like, Hidan could give someone the most painful and confusing death, while giving them none of the upsides that the 8th gate brings.
I'm only half way through so I don't know if this is mentioned, but a really simple one is 8th gate + kakuzu. The reason kakuzu is immortal and lived to 91 years of age is because his technique allows him to replace organs and body parts upon failure. So he could just remove his heart and replace it. The only problem is I don't know how his body would work with the technique. We know he has heart and he has organs but I don't know if he has blood, he probably has it though as his immortality is based on how many hearts he has so 8th gate should still work just maybe not the same way.
Surprised that dust release was never mentioned at all, given that the only way to stop dust release is to dodge it, combined with anything to reduce window to dodge like flying raijin and you have a combination of instantaneously being able to vaporize someone. Another interesting combination would be the byakugan in one eye and a Kamui mangekyo sharingan in the other eye, in essence allowing you to see through anything to pinpoint the kamui, making even line of sight unable to stop the effect. This one you could argue won't work though since the sharingan eye itself can't see the target, so this relies more on the limitation being the focal point of the eye as opposed to actual vision with the sharingan, which we have no way of knowing.
Itachi could've become a crow sage. There's a popular crow god in Japanese myth called Yatagarasu, that represents guidance, rebirth and rejuvenation. So, on top of looking even cooler, he could have his ninja cancer cured and possibly amped genjutsu.

I always thought a perfect build would be a toad sage byakugan user. It would eliminate their blind spot as well as better there already OP awareness. Their chakra rotations would be on another level being sage chakra as well as possibly applying frog kumetai for long range pokes and an extended invisible bubble. Another op combo would be sharingan + lightning cloak they both enhance reaction time, with the 2X reaction and OP speed

I think the issue is that with 100 healings + Gates, without the immortality of Hidan, you kinda age yourself to death really quickly. Tsunade got that OP Senju-Uzumaki lifespan helping her out there but Sakura doesn't have any OP alien DNA to give her an extended lifespan to burn on abusing the 100 healings to its full potential. She basically just turns herself into Hashirama 2.0 if you believe the theory (like I do) that he aged himself to death by healing.
I also feel like Nick didn't properly calculate the amount of chakra Sakura had. I am not sure how the strength of a hundred seal worked but I think it was a flat amount that equated to 100 of either Tsunade or Sakura. I also believe that Might Guy had more chakra than the both of them. Don't get me wrong, it would still be a massive boost, just not as much as Nick was explaining.

Having the hundred healings as well as sage abilities would be the strongest, let me explain. If you seal any extra Chakra you have in the hundred healings constantly, theoretically you can purposefully gather sage Chakra but instead of infusing it in your Chakra network you instead seal sage Chakra in a separate seal much in the same manner (which would allow you to enter sage mode instantly without needing to stay still just by opening the seal). If you completely open those seals, then collide those sealed Chakras (which wouldnt be hard if you have the Chakra control needed to create the 100 healinga) and destroy them, it would give you Baryon power like Naruto and Kuruma created, except you would be able to stop the reaction by closing one or both of your seals and your Chakra reserves wouldn't be effected like Naruto and you wouldn't have to die like Kuruma. The craziest part is its completely obtainable for people to do both of those things (so long as you have a large Chakra reserve in order to use sage Chakra), Sakura learned 100 healings in about 4 years and Naruto learned to be a sage in less than a month, it's totally obtainable in the Naruto universe.

So basically Hashirama. He had sage mode and his natural ability to heal was stated by Madara to be more powerful than tsunades hundred healings jutsu.
They have something like that. It's called Fury. It's the most powerful offensive Jutsu in the series outside of Tailed-Beast Bombs and specific Kekkei Mora. It works by gathering the Nature Chakra into a seal, then releasing it all at once in a _ginormous_ explosion.
Tbh this is kind of how I imagined hashiromas worked. That is the theory I have subscribed to him because they never explain his sage mode.

I think Karin with the heavenly transfer would also and she's able to isolate individual chakras from great distance and could just teleport things onto the people
I think Kcm with mabui's ability would be more powerful because with the kcm your body would be protected and could teleport anywhere with your capabilities without a mark plus with negative emotion sensing that comes with kcm you could feel people's presence kinda like Karen's mind eye

wait... surely if you combine a healing factor with the eighth gate, it just heals the wound in the heart that causes you to enter the form, right? So Hidan could try to use the eighth gate, but would just heal his heart and drop out of the form? Even Sakura couldn't necessarily use it longer than Guy, the hundred healings would just give her a way to turn it off by activating the mitotic regeneration.
That's what I thought too. Hidan probably just can't use the eight gates but the hundred healing combo would still work because she would be able to target her healing so she could use it as long as she wants and stop whenever she wants.

I thought Hidan using his ability with 8th Gate would be so broken because his ability reflects the damage he sustains on the person whose blood he ingested. So not only is Hidan immortal, his enemy would receive the damage of 8th gate
That’s only if he can set up his curse jutsu. Hell he’d probably not even be able to form the symbol. It has to be drawn in blood, Hidan usually uses his own, but under the 8th Gate’s power, his own blood is turning to mist as it exits his body. You could probably say it doesn’t need to be his blood, the symbol just must be drawn in someone’s blood, but that’s a lot of blood needed so by the time you get enough if you get it from the person you’re fighting, he’s probably dead anyway.
The combat applications of the curse is irrelevant compared to the power of the 8th Gate anyway.
@Crow senpai i don't believe so. In his fight with Shikamaru, he cut him and licked the blood off his weapon to activate his justu, then he began hurting himself. At least that's how i remember it

One thing I’ve liked to think about is how to make Sakura on par with Naruto and Sasuke, and it’s a fun combination of abilities.
Her 100 healings, plus sage mode and 8 gates.
It’s the combination of all of the strongest abilities not tied to one’s birth or bloodline or something sealed in them. It would make someone on par with the two mains without them needing stupidly powerful chakra or eyes.
A great deal of chakra control would also certainly help.
So like if Sakura had just sage mode (of course Tsunde teaching her, maybe it would be Hashirama’s she never mastered) plus 100 healings she actually would have been near to Sasuke and Naruto in the War Arc.
Then add in 8 gates in Boruto era so she can beat down gods while the other two are nerfed
(I assume that Sakura could at least learn to use her healing as she chooses while doing gates)

How to make Hidan more dangerous: Use the Eight Gates in combination with his voodoo ability. Hidan takes his enemy's blood, activates the ability, and then goes seventh gate. Then Boom, his opponent's bones all start breaking and their muscles tear. This means he could torture them for longer.
The Flying Raijin and Kamui combination is something I always thought of and I think is the most leathal combination for the Flying Raijin. Obito was fast enough to dodge the Raikage and that was just with one MS. We find out that Kamui is faster when both eyes are together, so with Dual MS Kamui, you're basically untouchable.
Also just base Sharingan with Flying Raijin is insane. I was really hoping that Sasuke would pick that jutsu up since losing the Rinnegan, but that never happened...

Any combination of Sage Mode, the Byakugan (or more specifically, the Gentle Fist), and the 100 Healings Seal would have been absolutely bonkers.
Sage Mode + Byakugan. If a person with the Byakugan was in Sage Mode, they could inject sage chakra into that person. If the target is unable to properly balance sage chakra (which most people can't), let's just say I hope they like frogs. On another note, imagine the huge amp each of their eight trigrams jutsus would get, especially Rotation which is literally just chakra. Imagine if Hinata had Sage Mode. Not only would she not be using her own chakra while using it, but could replenish her own chakra with Twin Lion Fists. Last but most definitely not least, they could be the best sensory ninja ever. Period.
Sage Mode + 100 Healings. This combo is simple, but effective. Enjoy near infinite chakra and the MASSIVE strength boost. Anyone who could master both would naturally be a chakra control monster as well.
Byakugan + 100 Healings. This is more Hinata specific with the Twin Lion Fists. She could use it to continually refuel the 100 Healings Seal. As long as she can keep can hitting her opponent, she could heal herself infinitely (or until her cells give out lol). Outside of Hinata, imagine a hyuga that could spam 64 palms and rotation.
Sage mode + hundred healing is basically Hashirama. Hundred healings is an attempt to simulate Hashirama’s ability to heal.

I read a book where one of the characters essentially had this (long range perception, gentle fist style attacks, and near infinite chakra). The character once struck an enemy with a "gentle fist" so large it hits and destroys all the chakra points at once, shattering their entire spiritual network, and killing them instantly.

Here's a bit of a basic combination that has potential to be _absurdly_ powerful: 1x 3-Tomoe Sharingan (or a higher evolution) + 1x Byakugan.
The hypothetical spawn of the two mightiest Clans in Konoha, wielding all of the monstrous powers of both. Biologically, _nothing_ prevents this from ever occurring, and Kishimoto himself stated that this is the end-result of a union between an Uchiha and a Hyuga. Both Clans, however, tend to be blood-purists (Uchiha being the more extreme offenders in this case), so it simply hasn't happened yet. Both Dojutsu have a lot of overlap in terms of abilities, which makes them remarkably compatible to begin with. Their _differences_ are where things get incredibly interesting.
First example: A Sharingan grants an Uchiha the ability to easily copy techniques they observe being used. A Byakugan lets a Hyuga see through physical obstructions in an almost perfect sphere around their entire person, sometimes for _several miles_ with perfect clarity, and they can also _process_ this enormous amount of sensory information without having a stroke. A wielder of both? Well, they can effectively steal all of the Jutsu and techniques of every combatant on a battlefield in moments, without even needing to lift a finger. This is basically the worst possible thing that can happen to a Hidden Village; the Hidden Mist even devoted a large portion of _their_ Anbu to hunting down defectors so that the secrets of their Jutsu _can't_ be stolen!
Second example: A Sharingan, particularly at the 3-Tomoe stage and higher, grants a remarkable amount of foresight to an Uchiha, allowing them to accurately predict the movements of a foe in advance. Byakugan _easily_ allow Hyuga to see their opponent's Chakra Network, and even Tenketsu, which is something only the most advanced of Mangekyo Sharingan can replicate outside of the Hyuga Clan. A wielder of both? You now have the most _ridiculously_ powerful practitioner of Gentle Fist... ever. They know where every one of their opponent's Tenketsu will be in relation to themselves up to several _seconds_ in advance, as well as which ones are going to be used in the process of molding Chakra and casting Jutsu; not only can they target specific Chakra Nodes, but they can target _specific_ ones that are most detrimental to their opponent's fighting style, and their precognition will make _stopping them_ borderline impossible. Targeting the cores of projectile Jutsu to disperse them with Gentle Fist? _Much_ easier when you can predict their trajectories in advance.
Third example: Sharingan are known for allowing their wielders to not only resist Genjutsu with relative ease, as does the Byakugan, but also _cast_ Genjutsu of remarkable power upon making eye-contact; it is so infamous for this ability that other Villages trained their Shinobi to _never_ fight Uchiha in single-combat whenever possible, and always having at least _one_ of their Ninja trying to attack the Uchiha from the rear, where eye-contact cannot be made. Throw a Byakugan into the mix though? Well, this Uchiha-Hyuga prodigy can now technically cast Genjutsu on anyone without actually making eye-contact anymore because _everywhere_ is the same as being looked at directly, making the commonly-known anti-Sharingan measures useless, and they can potentially do this to any target for _miles_ around them. The one blindspot that Byakugan have behind the first thoracic vertebra? Combined with the predictive powers of the Sharingan, this may not even be a problem; also, simply turning your head and torso by a small amount (like when _walking_ for instance) moves the blindspot to a _radical_ degree, meaning that the only real way to get the drop on them is to target them from _extreme_ ranges, or use Space-Time Ninjutsu, which is notoriously difficult and Chakra-depletive.
The singular Mangekyo Sharingan this individual could eventually unlock would basically make the above examples even _worse_ for everyone else. Imagine using Kamui on an unsuspecting target from _miles_ off. Or Amaterasu. Or Kotoamatsukami, or Tsukiyomi, or _any_ of the horrible Genjutsu that MS wielders have the potential to unlock. Heck, even the basic enhancement of the normal Sharingan's abilities plus the Chakra boost that comes with awakening a Mangekyo Sharingan are enough. Sure, they'd never be able to acquire Susanoo since that requires a pair of Mangekyo Sharingan; they'd also never _need_ to, because nobody is ever going to be able to get _close_ enough for that level of defense to be necessary.

You may have already done the following suggestion but an interesting extension of this idea could be: what combination of two abilities most significantly increases the power *of those abilities*. This almost completely removes all the obvious abilities from consideration, because yes you can make combinations that are incredibly powerful, but when the base abilities are already so powerful, is it really that much of a relative increase?
Kimimaro's bone ability and lightning cloak he could blitz you and stab you as well as enhance his bones with lightning
Sasuke could learn the 100 seals to compensate his lacking chakra caused by rinnegan.
If you combine that with an Orochimaru cursed seal (or any other way he can use Sage chakra), he could also save that better version of chakra.
Now he also has basically super healing, so might as well learn 8 gates 💀

Hey Nick, I was rewatching an old vid of yours and I think based on evidence he's a snake sage. 1: because of his astounding life force, he 100% would have survived the white snake sage bite. 2: snake sages (according to the wiki atleast) are granted the ability to breathe life into in animate objects which is present in the sage arts we see him use. 3: his sage mode facial markings have 2 very similar fang like points that cradle his nose similar to kabuto's sage transformation. 4: while toad sage markings seem to take from warmer red color palettes like red and orange, kubuto and mitsuki's transformations take heavy coloring from the cooler end of the spectrum with purples and greens and in most non anime media hashirama's markings are colored green. 5: the circle marking on his forehead bears resemblance to an ouroboros which in addition to being a symbol of completion also is represented by a serpent or snake eating it's own tail. I'm just saying, the evidence is there to support it and it seems more likely than slug or another animal. Bonus: the white snake sage somehow knows of atleast 1 other person to survive the process in their life time aside from orochimaru (but this one doesn't have quite as much bearing directly like the rest). Idk, could be worth another vid.

Itachi's Totsuka Blade and Sasuke's Amenotejikara. Every battle would be over in a few seconds because if your opponent is within sight, they get teleported into a sword that ignores all durability.

The sharingan + flying raijin makes the Uchiha into the perfect policeforce. U just put the seal on their stomachs so that, once they have broken out, you could teleport in front of them and put them into an instant genjutsu.

* combine with medical ninjutsu, and you can "re-grow" limbs instantly.
* use the above to store and use ANY dojutsu at will. (sans legal ramifications)
* not sure if you can link 2 of the sealing scrolls together, but if you can, that's a lot less chakra intensive than Flying-Thunder-God.
* doesn't Momoshiki store incoming jutsu, and then launch the same right back? What exactly stops Tenten from doing that? Because I'm thinking the answer to that is "nothing".
* Kamui dimension? Yeah, the last guy I couldn't beat in a fight is right here in this scroll... (I think Sai does that in the War arc, actually. Why is Tenten never shown using this on anyone?)
So, um, not really a list of "broken combinations" so much as one "criminally under-rated" jutsu.
Simplest answer is, she can't. She's only ever seen storing inanimate objects on her scrolls. The scroll storage isn't even exclusive to her she just does it better. She stored so much sea water to fill a lake in one of the fillers (which had fishes in them now that I think about it I'm not sure).
She was never shown to seal chakra, let alone Ninjutsu. She stores weapons. The rest is too much of a stretch even for head canon.
But imagine if she combined the combat mastery with all these weapons!

@@MMAli-rq8kd Even if she can only seal weapons (although I believe she can seal jutsu too, Jiraya sealed Amaterasu and he isn't specialized in sealing scrolls like Tenten is), she's still underutilizing that ability. She stores giant weapons which take a lot of chakra to summon and which people easily dodge. She stores a shitload of random weapons and throws them at the enemy hoping something hits.
Instead, hear me out, she could store away poisoned needles. Get thousands of them into a scroll, apply as many different poisons as you can to different needles to make finding an antidote harder. Get in the middle of a battlefield, use Twin Rising Dragons and everyone is poisoned, GG.
Tenten could also theoretically seal away kunais with explosive tags attached to them, and releasing a scroll filled with them will unleash a barrage of explosions over a large area, making it nearly impossible to dodge.
Just with those two abilities she'd b stronger than Deidara , Konan and Hanzo. Keep in mind she could probably use her chakra threads to make the explosions and poisons follow you around.
I would love a training montage of Hinata learning Seven Heavens Breathing Method from shinra and or Lee trying to introduce the technique to her and maybe a mission to the sand to learn the technique. Owl chakra mode with twin lion fists would look and be so cool.

I think Flying Thunder God + Sharingan in the case of anyone else would be unstoppable but Minato already displays the fastest reflexes in Naruto. So I think byakugan would be better for him specifically. Being able to see up to half a mile in all direction would make him god like. Side note: kamui + FTG would go nuts. It’s a shame Obito didn’t return to the leaf. Imagine 3 space time ninjutsu users on one squad. Minato, Kakashi and Obito would be invincible together.

I argue that, if Hidan really wanted to fight someone with absolutely ridiculous chakra pool, I concur that if he entered the 8th gate he wouldn't die but he would still regain his chakra after 8th gates drains him, because essentially what it is is shattering the limiter on your tenketsu (that might be spelled wrong.) Point in the heart, that being said, the burning chakra from the heart beating that fast, it would run out of chakra but as soon as it did it would repair the damage of the tenketsu point, thus not actually cutting off his chakra, because his healing factor is literally instant, you mentioned him putting the scythe in his heart, and it practically seems like it vanishes that part of the blade
Best combination. Karin's chakra sensing and Yakumo Kurama whose genjutstu was... real? She could sense you miles away and just destroy you. You can't get out of her genjutsu because you don't know you're in it. They dont say how far she can project it. But they had to lock her away in a pocket dimension for safety reasons. So we'd have to assume that she doesn't have a range.
She used it to strike the hokage's office with lighting. Think about that. A genjutsu working on an inanimate object. She pretty much warps reality with a thought.
Sage mode + 100 Healings + Baryon Mode. Burning stored chakra against nature energy would ensure that the user would survive and be able to use it over and over again
Slug sage Gaara would have been interesting.
Having access to the byaku seal to store chakra would have allowed him to raise to even greater strength than he did, allowing for greater offense. Defensively, he would have been able to buff up his sand armor to greater levels. Katsuyu + his sand shields would let him protect his villagers better from attacks like Deidra used on him. He's often depicted not having to move to use his sand either, so I imagine he'd be able to pull in senjustu constantly while in battle.
Imagine an attack like pain did on the leaf, but everyone was surrounded with a sand bubble/shell as well as the slugs for healing and communication.
Shino with flying raijin would have been scary as well. Once tagged, you're always at risk to be tagged with any of his insects super easy. Could easily have a whole new method to find ways to make his bugs work.
Nothing beats the combinations of both kamuis. Intangible, teleportation, long ranged offensive teleportation, susano with giant shuriken that teleport away anything it touches. I would take this over anything else on the list.

I love your list of ideas, but I have 1 problem:
Hashirama's feats with Wood release are already "combination abilities", and cannot therefore be used as a gauge for how strong wood release really is.
There a few abilities shown in Naruto which are hard to categorize as Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, etc. Things like Hydrofication, and Uzamaki Chakra reserves can't rightly be called kekkei genkai, but they are an obvious hereditary benefit.
Hashirama had those kinds of chakra reserves, and then some. AND had sage mode.
If you look at any other user of wood release (Yamato, white zetsu) who do not have near infinite levels of chakra, its utility seems to drop significantly. That's not to say 'wood release is not a good ability'--because it obviously is a good ability, but that using Hashirama as a baseline for its power is very misleading.
What would happen if you turned someone who could use the 8 inner gates into a human puppet? would they still be able to use the inner gates and have puppets who could use extremely powerful taijutsu?
I'd say yes but the puppets would have to be made strong enough to withstand the power or they'd break
I'd say "no". puppets don't really have their own chakra reserve, they don't feel pain or emotion. they don't "die" really.
The 8 gates work by unlocking limiters that all living things have, but since the puppets don't have those limiters to begin with, I don't think you can switch them off.
(another way to say that is that ninja puppets already have all 8 gates open, but are so weak that it doesn't matter.)
Hidan wouldn't be stuck with his 8th gate personnel open. He would be able to fully remove his heart, closing his 8th gate. Once he regrows his heart, he would be back to normal. There is no reason to believe that he would be stuck with his 8th gate open after regenerating.
Karin's "Mind's eye" sensing and Mabui's item teleportation. You can "see" your target from a safe place and teleport a weapon strait into their neck, heart, head, etc.

I always liked the idea of a Huga studding puppets. Theoretically they could create chakra threads from every kentetsu point. This could let them control way more puppets or utilize chakra threads in their tyjutsu like Hisoka's bungy-gum
I would love to see ten ten learn flying rajin, when she got the special weapons in the war I was hoping she would get a power up of some sort, like a massive charka boost.
Providing she had Minato's Chakra pool and she somehow got a hold of the flying rajin scroll, she could summon hundreds of tagged kunais, launch them at you and you will have to guess where to block, worst yet if she mix in some paper bombs on some of them.
Great video idea, I used to do this all the time just for fun and there's so many interesting combinations to go through. This could be a great new series to pursue. (One of my favorites is jinchuriki shino)

See I think that Hidan would become exhausted through losing all of his Chakra, and then just pass out, or even die. While unconscious, or dead, his body would start to heal itself. The healing process would bring his heart back from ash, to include the puncture spot from the eighth gates release, and then soon after he would probably awaken during the healing process, which would be excruciatingly painful, or after the process was done. Now I think that if it were to happen this way that his Chakra would come back as well.

I think chackra deplition may be something that can kill hidan, it was stated that lack of oxygen and food can kill him so since chakra seems to be as elemental to people in the naruto world as food then I think that is something from which he is not comming back.

Imagine a child with an Akimichi and a Nara parent respectively. Assuming he inherits the use of both the clans jutsu, he can expand to the size of the mountain and fully control the people in their shadow. Both are hidden leaf clans so this could easily happen :)
More ridiculous kekkey genkai/jutsu combos:
1) Swift release + Sharingan + Lightning release chakra mode + Body Flicker technique (with this you are basically the Flash from DC comics)
2) Kurama Clan's Kekkei Genkai + Ranmaru's Kekkei Genkai (with this you are a ridiculously overpowered illusionist that can cause physical damage with illusions and ignore/see through other people’s illusions)
3) Shikotsumyaku + Earth Style: Iron Skin + Chakra Enhanced Strength (takes a lot of chakra control, but with this you are a walking tank like Colossus from X-men)
4) Nara clan’s shadow manipulation + Yoroi’s Chakra absorption (Hello scary shadowy tentacle monster that eats chakra leaving everyone with chakra-exhaustion)
5) Chakra strings + Any elemental release + Any speed technique (with this you are similar to Walter C. Dornez from Hellsing)
Funny thing about the Totska Blade and Yata Mirror, is by context those weren’t powers inherent to Itachi’s Susanoo. Orochimaru claimed he was been searching for the Totska Blade for years and was surprised it was in Itachi. He speaks of it like it was a physical item which wouldn’t be the case if its entire existence was part of Itachi’s Susanoo. My theory, at one point they probably were real objects.
Both the Totska Blade and Yata Mirror are referred to as “Spirit Weapons.” My interpretation is these were special weapons that were probably physical manifestations of chakra, similar to the Tailed Beasts, that once bound to a person were stored in their spirit and could be summoned at will. Considering the Susanoo is also considered an extension of the user’s will, or Spirit, Itachi probably found the two weapons wherever they were hidden away, and when bound, the weapons probably manifested in Itachi’s Susanoo as it was also a manifestation of his spirit.
Meaning with his death they were either lost forever, or perhaps, also like the Tailed Beasts, dispersed as chakra to one day remanifest for someone else to claim in the future.

I always had the Idea of a "Fury + 100 Seals" combo where you combine the seals of both jutsu into a "sage mode" battery without the weakness of Jugos Kekkei Genkai.
You can just activate it and have a boatload of Senjutsu at your disposal. Or combining the 100 seals with a Bijuu to have less of a battery and more of a nuclear power plant on your forehead.
Boil Release and Jugo Clan Kekkei Genkai. The user would be able to constantly/passively absorb nature energy, mix it with their own chakra, and not only constantly stay in unrivaled strength mode, but a much stronger version because they’d be burning senjutsu. They wouldn’t have to worry about absorbing to much because they could just heat it up and burn only away. The normal unrivaled strength was enough to damage Kaguya. A sage mode version would have to be near god tier
Byakugan : 8 Trigrams 64 Palms and Explosion Release, even if we don't know a lot about it, it's probably possible to have a kind of Delayed Explosion ability where eash hit of the 64 palms would put a mine on your body that would explode on command or in a few seconds.
Quick Thought... Would the 100 healings heal the pierced tenketsu point that opens the 8th gate, thus closing the gate? Sure you can take the damage and then use the 100 healings, but then that's it. If you pierce it again it'll just heal and not work while it's active. Then you can't use it again until 100 healings is ready to go again, which takes time to build up (right?) Dont get me wrong, being able to open the 8th gate more than once is awesome on it's own, just not suuuuper broken... Thoughts?

Shadow Clones + Base State Mangekyou? I presume that since injuring a shadow clone doesn't return the damage to the user, a shadow clone using Mangekyou abilities wouldn't cause the degeneration of the original pair of eyes. Possibly also extended to Izanagi and Izanami.
I would love to see the byakugan combined with puppet control. Imagine a puppet using gentle fist and controlled by a user that could be really far or truly hidden because of the byakugan's ability to see through solid objects and at a distance. It also covers the weaknesses of both: gentle fist users tend to lack ranged options and just imagine that you finally manage to close the distance on the puppet user you've been fighting only to discover that you are in melee with a hyuuga member. Is it the most broken combo, no, but it sure would be cool to see and would have so many cool options like attaching chakra threads to someone's chakra points or puppets using air palm and gentle fist style
The greatest beneficiaries for sage mode would be Juugo and Gaara, but for opposite reasons. Juugo can just passively absorb nature chakra, so he would get the benefits of any sage mode with no downsides. Gaara, meanwhile, can fight completely still, his sand is attacking you, and while you're dealing with that, or a rampaging Bijuu, he has all the time in the world to keep collecting sage juice

Well if opening the 8th gate means you have to puncture the heart, and Hidan has super healing; wouldn’t it mean that once the puncture healed the 8th would then close?
We are assuming that the 8th simply never closes.
What we don’t know is if the puncture is a prerequisite for the 8th gate being open. No puncture, no opened gate.
If this is the case, Hidan would not be able to open the 8th gate.

Tsukuyomi appears to have variable duration(inside of it, outside is always a second I believe.) But what causes that variation is indeterminate.
I'd say that the resistance of the target shortens it, and most people who were subjected to Tsukuyomi broke out in approximately 3 days.

In Gojo’s domain time is infinite. All information is bombarded on the victim to the point they are so overwhelmed they can’t do anything but experience what’s happening. Time stretches out infinitely.
So a second become a very relative and loose term.
Which would take precedent?
Tsukyomi, which is instantaneous upon eye contact.
Or the Infinite Expansion freezing Itachi so he can only experience what is going on.
You can still think and be aware but nothing else.
What happens if Tsukyomi takes precedent while the second is stretched out to the length of a year?

Hidan's blood ritual + the 8th gate.
Like, Hidan could give someone the most painful and confusing death, while giving them none of the upsides that the 8th gate brings.

I'm only half way through so I don't know if this is mentioned, but a really simple one is 8th gate + kakuzu. The reason kakuzu is immortal and lived to 91 years of age is because his technique allows him to replace organs and body parts upon failure. So he could just remove his heart and replace it. The only problem is I don't know how his body would work with the technique. We know he has heart and he has organs but I don't know if he has blood, he probably has it though as his immortality is based on how many hearts he has so 8th gate should still work just maybe not the same way.
Surprised that dust release was never mentioned at all, given that the only way to stop dust release is to dodge it, combined with anything to reduce window to dodge like flying raijin and you have a combination of instantaneously being able to vaporize someone.
Another interesting combination would be the byakugan in one eye and a Kamui mangekyo sharingan in the other eye, in essence allowing you to see through anything to pinpoint the kamui, making even line of sight unable to stop the effect. This one you could argue won't work though since the sharingan eye itself can't see the target, so this relies more on the limitation being the focal point of the eye as opposed to actual vision with the sharingan, which we have no way of knowing.
