We use coconut oil and a teaspoon of baking soda for home made toothpaste. We are family of four with two kids, don’t have any cavities and we have used our homemade toothpaste for over five years. We also eat whole foods, very healthy and organic so diet is a huge component to oral health.
I wish she had commented on overall health of the product rather than just taste…. Personally, I don’t care about the taste if it still has chemicals I’m trying to avoid with mainstream toothpaste.

You still can make the change. Don’t blame your parents. Mines were absent ones, my grandparents were great raising me and did their best at their age when I got to their house , I wouldn’t ever blame them for giving me fluoride they didn’t know it was bad, but I know so I made the change.
In India part of the world ppl have been chewing on NEEM tree branches for generations with very little decay as a result. Now you can buy Neem toothpaste... Ive been using it for 4 years now (i also make sure i have proper minerals & Natural vitamins also). I had a few teeth that i def didnt want to loose...they were failing...I found alternative Neem tooth paste that stopped the decay cold! 4 years later i still have those teeth & havnt lost any other teeth too, no more bleeding gums also! You wont hear any indoctrinated Dentists venture outside their Big Pharma bubble, They would rather rely on your sugary chemical toothpaste to guide them to their office to extract a TON of $ from your pocket. P.S. Another option is do Coconut Oil Pulling (theres tons of videos about it). I just saved you a LOT of hell... Your welcome

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL toothpaste should be used to whiten teeth and once desired whiteness is reached switching to another natural toothpaste as the charcoal is very harsh on the enamel. I have heard this but have not done the research. Seems logical however.

In India they have been chewing on the neem branches for generations with very little dental decay, some smart person made toothpaste out of the leaves branches etc... store the tube with cap down to prevent it from paste drying out. a small pea size is all you need so tube last a while ;) can also (or instead of) do coconut oil pulling (see youtube for instructions)
The Brand “Hello” is also an amazing brand to try out . Very very clean only thing that I kinda side eye within it is the Titanium Dioxide(mineral) which Dr. Bonners is the only other brand I see that doesn’t have that . Dr Bonner would be 1# for me just for that reasoning but Hello foams up and everything! I used to use the charcoal one but it soften my enamel very badly had to reverse the sensitivity with coconut oil pulling and brushing with coconut oil as well like a double cleanse before toothpaste.

I did until recently. Now I switched to Davids Natural Toothpaste. I like it better and this company is more focused on sustainability as it uses no plastics in their packaging. Their toothpaste tube is recyclable so its better for the environment. I also tried Neems Toothpaste and loved it so I will make a second natural toothpaste video soon where I will provide an in depth review of other toothpastes.

It is still not proven to cause cancer in humans since most of the studies have only been done on animals, but most scientist agree that it can cause cancer and other digestive issues. After a lot of research I decided to go ahead and use toothpaste with carrageenan since I spit out most of it anyway and the problems encountered with carrageenan are caused by ingesting it. You should read up on it and see if you feel comfortable using it. If you don't there are many other natural toothpastes that do not contain carrageenan. Just a heads up, carrageenan can be found in many foods on the market. I would definitely avoid those. Hope that helps.

I am not a doctor so I would double check with your dentist to be sure, but most experts recommend to use a toothbrush moistened with water and no more than a rice-grain size smear of toothpaste. I would use the unflavoured Jack N Jill toothpaste at first and I would choose a toothbrush that is made for babies. The brushes should be very soft and with no more than three rows of bristles. I notice I do get more cavities with fluoride free formulas, but even gentle alternatives like sensydone cause me severe pain to the point where I get such a narley headache. I should see a dentist to see what my options are.

How can you do honest reviews on toothpaste if you dont like baking soda...? That's like somebody doing a review on peppermint candies and they dislike peppermint essential oils. And as an aside you're pretty.
Not all the toothpaste I tried taste like pure baking soda. If the toothpaste said baking soda flavoured, your comment would make sense but that is not the case.

I wish that you should talk more about the ingredients: what is good and what is bad ingredients. In the video, $10 expensive for Dr. Brown and nothing said about over $13 for your best choice Jason toothpaste. I only see this review about the taste. I can see this video is not fair comparison.
I personally did not like it. I did find new natural toothpastes that I liked more than Jason's. I now use one from the company Hello. I love the flavour and the benefits. You can check it out in my new natural toothpaste video.
Yes Magic Mud is my husband's favorite. He also just finished a tube of Schmidt's Naturals Wondermint with Activated Charcoal. It has charcoal but is a lot less messy than Magic Mud if ever you want to give it a try. Thanks for watching.

Jack and Jill is so expensive!.. it's a shame my baby suffers from textures...he loves this and there's no issue to brush with this toothpaste...it kills me that it's so expensive

Yes it is true. That is why I say to speak to your dentist before switching to natural toothpaste. Fluroide is already present in the water we drink and is found in most mouth washes. Only your dentist will know if you need to up your fluoride usage.

How can you do honest reviews on toothpaste if you dont like baking soda...? That's like somebody doing a review on peppermint candies and they dislike peppermint essential oils. And as an aside you're pretty.
Not all the toothpaste I tried taste like pure baking soda. If the toothpaste said baking soda flavoured, your comment would make sense but that is not the case.

dont bother with all this crap... Herbal Theraneem saved my bad teeth, yeah literally. I love the cinnamon flavor. In India they have been chewing on the neem branches for generations with very little dental decay, some smart person made toothpaste out of the leaves branches etc... store the tube with cap down to prevent it from paste drying out. a small pea size is all you need so tube last a while ;) can also (or instead of) do coconut oil pulling (see youtube for instructions)
I wish that you should talk more about the ingredients: what is good and what is bad ingredients. In the video, $10 expensive for Dr. Brown and nothing said about over $13 for your best choice Jason toothpaste. I only see this review about the taste. I can see this video is not fair comparison.
Dr Bronner's is superior brand to others you posted besides Jason. It's about cleaning teeth great and trustworthiness.
I personally did not like it. I did find new natural toothpastes that I liked more than Jason's. I now use one from the company Hello. I love the flavour and the benefits. You can check it out in my new natural toothpaste video.
Don’t like Dr Bronners; my fav is the Magic mud activated charcoal!! It is a little messy, but it’s worth it to me!! 😊🙌🏾
Yes Magic Mud is my husband's favorite. He also just finished a tube of Schmidt's Naturals Wondermint with Activated Charcoal. It has charcoal but is a lot less messy than Magic Mud if ever you want to give it a try. Thanks for watching.

That is a good question. I am not qualified to answer that. I would check the ingredients and do a little research on them before using these products.
Jack and Jill is so expensive!.. it's a shame my baby suffers from textures...he loves this and there's no issue to brush with this toothpaste...it kills me that it's so expensive

Your #1 is also my favorite. One time I used Crest at my dad’s when I didn’t have my vegan available. I can tell the difference right away. Never going back to that old stuff!

Yes it is true. That is why I say to speak to your dentist before switching to natural toothpaste. Fluroide is already present in the water we drink and is found in most mouth washes. Only your dentist will know if you need to up your fluoride usage.
