- today I'm setting up my new pet room at my new place in colorado! it's been quite the process, but finally everyone is starting to settle in and get used to their new environments, including myself xD this is how I put together all my turtle tanks after the move :)

Just found your channel from a video that you posted 4 years ago and I'm very proud of how far you've come :D Your videos are very informative and although I don't have the resources to care for a reptile, I still love educating myself on them thanks to you!! I hope your channel will continue to grow and that you succeed on everything
TG, you did a great job with the move. It's always nerve wracking moving animals because they dont like the change of environment during the move. We always keep Spocky and Troi, our muskies, in the car with us. They love to look out the window and enjoy the trip. My only suggestion is I think you have WAY too much water for muskies; if you must have deep water for some reason, you should have perches within three inches of the water surface so he can rest and stick his nose out of the water and breathe using his lungs.
Congrats on the move Sol! God bless you in this new season & glad your pets are adjusting well! That tank for that price is a great deal! Taking a break before I finish the next half of deep cleaning for my turtle’s tank 😮💨
I am in love with your videos! I am on my adventure to learning and starting to prepare my build up aquariums for my turtles! Can you do a video of the different kinds of turtles and what ones are best to care for as a pet? Reeves turtles i have been looking into particular to the same as your Diamond Back.. loving the history!!!! keep up the cool videos!!! love them and so informative.
Congratulations on the successful move! I had to do the same drive from Fort Lewis McCord to Fort Carson Colorado and it was a long haul for sure. I only had to worry about a dog at the time but now have a big family with humans and 2 dogs, a cat, and as of last week a hatchling Map Turtle. I couldn’t imagine doing it again. You Rock!

Hi love your videos! I have a 50 gallon tank with 4 adult musk turtles i have canister filter on it do you think its overstocked?
What bulbs/fixture are you using for hoku? I've been struggling to find what king of bulbs i need.

What water heater are you using for the musk turtles ?
I want to get a water heater for me red eared slider but I want to prevent him from getting burned. I already tried the tetrafauna water heater but it didn't work out for me .what do you recommend?
Hi fellow turtleress. I need help fast. A filter pump broke down so I ordered a smallish Fluval from Amazon but it arrived today cracked. Just as well as was probably too small as M'Shell is growing fast. So I ordered for door delivery from Petco a large Fluval 110 which looks great and is a more pliable plastic than the former brittle one. The instructions are sorely lacking therefore Idk whether or not the pump needs priming so being it's urgent I get my girl back into her tank very soon I took a chance and filled up the reservoir with clean water. The intake pipe water wouldn't rise high enough to start the flow. What should I do differently? Thx. Waiting for help. Idk of any turtle forum on which I can ask questions. Do you?

did u remove the canister filter from Hoku s tank? and can i ask why? I want to get my turtle a canister filter but idk if i should, since your tank is much more bigger and u dont have it anymore..Please answer
Can u please tell me if yellowface shortneck turtles can stay in the same tank together and how long it will take for them to get used to each other
She’s made a video on cohabitation of turtles before. You’d want to proceed with caution when considering this. Usually cohabitation of two different species that generally use different spaces is best. When it comes to two of the same species you have to consider whether you have more than enough space and likely multiple or a large basking area and enough swimming space. Turtles are not social and will often fight. So if you are willing to put in the work to make your tank suitable for two turtles and keep an eye to see if it is always working then it may be possible. Good luck 😊
What light did you add to Kuzon's tank? Is it for heating?
It is a little mini halogen heat lamp for additional warmth in the winter since my place gets a little cold!

unfortunately i no longer have a snail tank! but it's pretty simple, there are a handful of good videos on youtube if you do a quick search

I know this has nothing to do with the video but my dad keeps turning off my uv light on my turtle bc he says it’s a waste of energy and I tell him that I set a timer on but he still turns it off what do I do 😐

Don't know if you would see this but if you or anyone else has any suggestions my 3 5 month old painted turtles are having a hard time eating pellets because they got addicted to mealworms and I don't wanna like starve them so if you know anything could you please let me know.
