Hi Alessandro, this makes a lot of sense and yes, when you are student you received a lot of guidance so we to train our speed and accuracy level as well, thank you for these videos. Really, are mind sets.
Alessandro, the way you explain, the way you teach is superb....i help I need from you is Can you please make a Progressive walk video. I have done making walk cycle for me it took a 6hours for 5steps walk cycle..
I don't know who in their right mind starts thinking about relaxing once they get a job. I would suggest they go for something less demanding if they've got that in mind before they even begin.
Can you give an example of what kind of test a company has given you? Did they give you an audio clip to make a scene out of, or a character rig from their own assests to create a walk cycle/body mechanic sequence?
Hey Robablob, I passed a few test last year for tv animation (in France), and the way of doing it depended on the studio really. For one of them, they sent me some files, with an animatic and the video of the layout pass, a scene with their own character, props and setting, and animation tests to show me the style of animation I was supposed to follow. The animation was 11 secs long and I had 2 days to do it, and I had to send my progress at the end of each day at a given time. Another test I did was way less organized and strict. They just sent me a free dog rig from the internet and told me I had 2 shots to do with it. One bodymecanics shot with they described shortly and an audio clip that I had to animate to. I had no frame limit on either shot, nor specific deadline. The 2 other tests that I did, were somewhere in between, both had a specific shots to do with an animatic to go with it. For one of them they gave me their own rig, and no specific deadline, for the other they told me to pick any rig I wanted from the internet, but I had to send them the result at the end of the day.

@@acamporota grazie!
