    Great video. I'm finishing my second year of animation in an Art Institute and I have to admit that if it weren't for my own research and personal study I would be stuck at the 12 principles of animation. I learned a lot on my own but I feel like it won't be enough.

    Hello!
    Thank you for this video. I think the best way to be better on animation is *practice* more. But thanks to you and others TH-cam animators, It becomes a little bit easier than going blind.

    Thank you! This video has given me the courage to approach professional animators and see if we can work out a few one on one, paid lessons. I teach writing and I know how to approach a creative professional to see if they have the time and need to coach an inexperienced person in their field. So I will make some inquires, make some offers, and see what happens. THANKS!

    Yesterday I did a walk cycle in maya based on your tutorial! Thank you very much!!!
    I graduaded traditional animation colledge, where we learned 12 principles of animation. Even though it was absolutely for free, I feel like I've lost so much time there. In real animation, exactly in 3d there is much more things that you should take into account. Before i went to colledge i've learned 3d basics in online shool, it was expencive but was really usefull. If i have enouth time & money now i wouild defenetly go on with online shool..
    Now i'm thinking how can i learn animation by myself. I think it will be cool if there was some place where i can send my animation scene to get professional criticism of problems in it
    Sorry for my english!

    Thank you sir once again i am very happy to see your face. This video cleared me a lot of question i asked you recently. I am following your instruction for more than 3 year. Even i have spent a lot of money in my 3d animation degree but even a simple walk cycle I learned from you college degree is just a piece of paper. i learned a lot of things. Once again thank you sir.

    Hello there ! I always have a thing that bugging me. Let the 12 principles and the body mechanics be aside. How important is acting in animation? I mean to act and record facial expressions and realistic acting. Im a terrible when it comes to acting and cant make my my own reference. Can i get over it by just using others as refernce for my shots?

    so basically if someone does not have money on school/private mentor it is a waste of time to try to learn animation on high level by yourself?

    I wish I had a friend who was also interested in animation. It would make this a whole lot easier. It would give someone to share and talk about stuff like this. Animation groups and stuff are great but they don't compare to an actual friend to talk to. Also that plane went by in the middle of the video lol

    • @acamporota
      @acamporota  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can't expect to have a friend everytime you want to do something that you like, you need to be self motivated.. Eventually you will find

    • @ranguy1379
      @ranguy1379 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@acamporota Agreed, but it's kinda lonely when you can't talk about this stuff without feeling like a nerd, because they don't understand nor are they interested. But I'll push anyway, I do really wanna become an animator. Currently learning body mechanics :)

      @@ranguy1379 Nothing wrong being a so called "Nerd" or feeling like one. Personally when someone calls me a "nerd" I take it as a compliment. Don't burn yourself out only animating, pick up a personal growth book, learn how to cook, play the piano, learn a new language, learn self-defense, etc. Lots of things you can do on the side while learning to animate.
