That's a pretty sweet set-up Tom. Just remember if you make a display of your trophies you cut into your work space a bit. However if you're thinking TV, make a trophy display around the TV, put the TV on a moveable bracket so you can change the viewing angle and have it so it comes out from the trophy case. If you use folding chairs or stools you can store them on the wall under the TV.
Hey Tom Cardy! Wow what an epic saga of a build! Your craftsmanship was well improved that space! I hope your dad Dave Cardy has a key so he can ride all your bikes and raid your screw drawer when you are not there! Stay hydrated! Ride ride ride!
So tidy, dream setup. Just got to keep on top of it when you start riding all the time and it becomes busy and you end up with even more stuff. How about one of those muc off parts washers ? For when your striping bits down.
Hey Cards, what about a fold out bench on the blank wall? You mentioned that you have no seating and something you could fold out of the way and lock it up sounds like a good solution. Trophy's or personal accolades could go up near the ceiling on another shelf. Maybe a wall mounted bike stand that you could remove when not in use could be helpful, love the garage build and glad to see you back on the bike!!
On the right hand side as you enter, you should get a wall-mounted bar table, just a small one that can be popped up and otherwise be flush with the wall - alongside two bar-style high chairs you have seating and can use the chairs for sitting while working on a bike in a stand e.g., works really well with the added seating height on those chairs.
Wow looks fantastic I can not get over what you can do when you have a limited space in your Garage just need a tv and some bar stools and just enjoy it
Hi Tom, i don’t know the regulations in GB but here we need to have 2 air entrance in the gas chest. One up one down to make the eventual leak detectable quickly. Nice vid like always. Cheers.👍 Phil.
In the corner where the DJ (7th bike is) put a corner comfy thing to sit on with drawers underneath for shows and miscellaneous items 😆 great use of space mate
excellent work Tom (and Kara) have been enjoying your channel regularly since I got into Dirt Jumps and tricks this past year. Glad to see you riding again! just got back from a should injury myself. I think I just got the inspiration I need to clean up my work/storage area this weekend while my wife is out of town. not going to be doing any classy carpentry but more organized is always better. Cheers!
Tom, you both did such a job, man! Well done! Just relocated to Colchester from Kyiv, Ukraine and it's so great to follow you, hope to meet you one day in person. All the best to you two, Kindest regards, Vitaliy
That looks awesome, wish I had space to make something like this, unfortunately my bikes sit outside in the elements 🙁 one thing I think you could benefit from is a wall mounted fold up bike repair stand, put it on the blank wall for when building bikes and then it folds up out the way when not being used.
Yo Cards, lovin the garage build! Really like the corner shelving, nice showcase of the carpentry skills! Looks like you need a shop stool or two. In my garage we use two old bar stools with the classic chrome legs, round top. I like having sturdy ones like this without wheels vs rolling stools in the garage so you can lean bikes easily on em, and so you can hop up on em and use like a step stool when needed
Looks sick man! Love your 'off-the-bike' stuff too, even when you're messing about on the roof putting together makeshift jumps in your (old) yard... you're a pro with the nail gun! One thing I would suggest is you could run a long cable lock through all the bikes in the garage for extra security (cost effective) or get alarm / CCTV / reinforced door / insurance as it now looks very attractive to potential criminals! But I'm sure this has crossed your mind ;-) And stoked for you being back on the bike again! (Y)
Hi tom the offer still stands if you would like a custom paint job on one of your frame sets 🤘good to see you back on your bike my fellow chelmsford rider all the best DRED FX CUSTOM PAINT
Clean!!👌 great use of the space 😯i defo recommend some park tool stools with matching tool kit and bike stands 🔥 thats my dream idea for my work in progress anyways 😅
Hey Tom not sure if you said it before but could you give the original size of the garage as for uk sized garages that’s some amazing pice of work. I mean 7 bikes! Iv got 2 so wow I need to redo my garage, but to give a better idea what size did you start with?
I´d had one of these boards on the wall with lids from marmalade glasses screwed in underneath, so I can do the "spilling various screws n bolts over the bench before I poor in some whisky for a friend" move, that the csi guy used to do in this one series. But for real now... I´d had something very specific from 53696d6f6e652047696572747a and I think this would look good there as well.
This garage is really awesome! For me, one thing would be missing: I would like to have a space where I could let my bike rest hanging in the workstand for a longer time while having a bigger mechanical, for example to have the fork sent in to a service- dealer... Please tell me what you think about!
Looks nice! You are talented man, good in doing absolutely everything) To me looks that it made less space in garage with that wood on the right side. For only covering the pipe and electrics? Or estetics was more importand than that square centimetres?

As a fellow perfectionist, this series has been a pleasure to watch - god-tier use of space man!

I love seeing creative use of small spaces, great job 👍
Thanks!

Those bike racks are mint! Really makes it work for the space you had

Look at all that space, even with seven bikes on the wall! Great video, Tom!
brilliant job Tom and Kara just need some security on those bikes and the door loving it
Wow looks fantastic I can not get over what you can do when you have a limited space in your Garage just need a tv and some bar stools and just enjoy it

Architrave is a new word for me. Wow.

Very nice,Tom and Kara!
Looks fantastic well done both of you super organised 👍👍👍
Nice vid! I’d put a bike stand on the wall. Allows for more floor space!
Coming along nicely great use of such a small space I like this racks
Good job. Get some banners up!, Cover the ceiling🤘🤘
Such a sick workshop the only thing I'd add is a better door 🤙
You can run another socket from that one lower. It will be a spur socket or just an extra on a radial.

Loved the series Tom! A great space you have made. Perhaps you need a work stand bolted to the wall in the event you need to work on a bike?
Very nice you're garage Tom like the wood class😀👍
Thanks dude!
Really want to see some of your awards on that wall!!!
Your a legend
Thanks dude!
I agree
Looking sick dude. Amazingly good use of a small space 👍
Looks awesome, I need to clear the garage out to get some bike racks soon.

Sick garage man. So great your back on the bike!

Great series!! Shame that black shelving unit has to stay though..as that’s pretty bulky!
Loved the woodwork,, very talented!!

Wall mounted bike stand (some how) for builds and maintenance would be good 👍

Garage is class - only thing required is a beer machine 🤔 😛
Thanks dude! Haha yes!

Hey great build ! What’s the width on the wall where the 5 bikes are hanging ? Cheers !
Looks sooo clean
Thanks dude!
Wow that's awesome Dude 😃👍
What colour is that paint on your walls? Where did you get it from? Would be ideal in my garage. Top work

Looks mega. Ps don’t tell people on TH-cam you keep bikes in the van. You never know who is watching.
Get some ground anchors to lock your bikes up #security 🔒
k, I got the best idea, you need a LifeLine Workshop Workstand Wall Mount, trust me it would suit perfectly
Did you do carpentry in college? Woodwork looks flawless 👍
Looking awesome Tom. Are you guys still living with Sam?
You have to put a Speaker or a Radio in the Garage
Wood is so cool
So cool 👌
Thanks dude!
Cool Video! I do videos in England as well but I ride Bmx and MTB
I just subscribed to you 🙂

An art mural on that wall would be sick of you riding or something and you can still put shelves or something on it
Awesome job man, but thought youd moved in with sam?
