    good instincts with not worrying too much about matching the boards or anything - functional and aesthetic, while fighting to not be anxious about making everything perfect 100% of the time.
    That's what riding a mountain bike is all about right? Happy to see New hampshire featured with the Highland print. Such a nice touch.

    • @th_js
      @th_js 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, reliability is everything for me, if GX Eagle derailleur gets a little knock on the side, the gears are literally useless. Depends on the price though since I'm not spending the same amount of money to a 9 as for a 12 speed

    • @woutmoelans4103
      @woutmoelans4103 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For me its more than 11/10, its 15/10

    • @Iantheiguana
      @Iantheiguana 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem with a 9 speed drivetrain with the same range as a 12 speed drivetrain is you have a bigger gap in the number of teeth between each gear. That means that each shift is a more dramatic gear change than you would have on a 12 speed which results in clunkier and rougher shifting. Kind of like how a 3x front derailleur shifts a bit smoother than a 2x front derailleur. It’s the same concept

About 20 lbs worth of Park Tool, Pedros, and random miscellaneous things I didn't have any idea what they were even for. Best $51 I ever spent. I have Park Tool cone wrenches in sizes I don't know it I will ever use, but I'm glad to have them in the drawer for the day I need them. The best part was that there were so many duplicates, I ended up selling the extras for around $105. Still, I am super jealous of your garage. Top notch all the way around!

It's a 6 X 8 ft and it was free so I'm grateful I have a shed at all, I don't leave my bike in there as security is minimal. this small space has a lot of work to do as a bike shed, home improvement shed, and gardening shed. Boring looking garage? This was an enormous garage with enough light inside from the start. It looks like a small school gym. You can run your imagination all you want with such space, but the point is the garage is great, with or without the workshop.

    I love that you dont try to hide product placement, or sponsorships. You need to make a living somehow, and trying to hide it is useless and makes people seem petty. I appreciate your straight forward, well thought out adverts placed in your videos.

    I ride a 1x11 11-50 Sunrace. I often say it's more about the range than the steps in between. Mine's perfect for my riding but would also be fine with less than 11 choices. It goes with a 32t chain ring.
