    Thank you, Mel, for saying the truth: this actually OBJECTIES women rather than empowering them!

    That “momager” is delusional.

  • @chloesheler1927

    I don’t see female empowerment. I see a manipulative little girl. If I were her mother, (I don’t care how old she is) I would make her immediately take it all down. There is a brat behind these “empowering words”. This girl is a little snot. A lot of gaslighting words, not empowering. She knows exactly what she is doing and it’s not female empowerment. Mom needs to raise her voice and not worry about being friends with her daughter and be a MOM.

    • @gkadnams
      @gkadnams 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I don’t necessarily disagree, but I also think the source of her manipulation is the fact that she’s been brainwashed with what the “idea” is of female empowerment. That part of it is not her fault. Lots of women get manipulated into thinking selling and showing their body is empowering by people who are trying to sell products. She’s basically a walking, talking billboard to brainwash other young women and that shit needs to stop. Not to mention the byproduct of which is putting her in grave danger.
      I just read an article the other day about a woman in her 20s who was contacted on Instagram with a modelling job by some guy who appeared to be legit based on her online searches and he offered to pay for her travel expenses. Once she arrived at the destination, he held her captive for several days. He forced her to do meth and repeatedly violated her. Luckily she was able to contact police by using a pre-arranged code phrase with her roommate while speaking on the phone, and was rescued. She now makes blankets for other sexual assault survivors, as she said receiving a blanket at the hospital made her feel safe after such an ordeal. Scary stuff.

  • @karenhampton9693

    The daughter knows exactly what she"s doing and it has nothing to do with art...especially seeing that all her comments and attention are coming from men, then at that point she's not even reaching the audience that she so call saying she"s trying to reach about body image (which in this case would be women).

  • @karenhampton9693

    The lady that applaud Emma in the end is a no no. When it comes KIM K which is the influence for many young ladies, it is slim to none of the success in that area and many young ladies expose their bodies thinking they can do like Kim K and it backfires and then they are exposed in the worst way and their image is destroyed. This happens a dime a dozen. Steve Harvey touched on this issue.

    Typical eighteen year old:
    “I’m 18 I can do whatever I want”
    Cut her off from everything and let her figure it out in her own.
    Mom supports the nonsense you can tell.
    The girl is clearly wanting the acceptance from ANY man just as long as she hears feedback. The fact she said there’s nothing wrong doing p...
    This girl is going to go downhill. Smh she doesn’t want help. Neither does the mom, she feeds her the idea that because she iS 18 that she can do what she wants.

    Emma is using “female empowerment” and “performance art” but she is using sex to get views and klicks.
    When her mother said “I am your momager” and that she too has channels was very revealing... It seemed like they only came in the show to be on television. I truly hope they learned something. It was so disturbing to see people use a serous topic to push their agenda because unfortunately there are impressionable minds.

    Hunny there will always be perverts out there wanting to see skin. It doesn't make you special or empowered. It's not just you they're looking at. And I hate to say it but a lot of it is cause you look young. A lot of sick people out there. Respect yourself. Men will always test you to see how easy you are.

    The young lady showing off her body makes me wonder why "sexually arousing" men is so important to her and, honestly, what need it satisfies other than the "adrenalin rush" she mentioned. Having worked in Vice for years let me say that this is the stuff that any man wants to see but sexual abusers want to conquer. Be very careful; you are just a pound of flesh to them and they watch every girl who will "give it up". Sorry, hon, but you are no one special to them...or do you want to be? Really want to be? Value yourself. Mom, you have helped put her out there so you have some decisions to make. How much did you really know ages 7-18 ? Love, hugs and just be content; happiness is contingent and overrated. Joy is found in proving your own morality, your own ethics and decent fruitful work and then you will find tremendous satisfaction in YOURSELF alone and not in another person's approval of your conscience.

    I absolutely agree that exposing your body is not the best way to showcase being body positive. It is form of objectifying, crying out for attention and as a woman, I find it offensive. All the feminist in the past fought for ladies to be seen as more than body and young girls today do precisely to themselves what men did in the past. Don't do that girls, respect yourself - you are more than a body or even a pretty face :-)

  • @realalldway-raw4996
    @realalldway-raw4996 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Here is the problem with what she is doing:
    1. These videos will stay on-line forever and if one day she happens to join a competition or try to get a job that requires a background check, these will resurface and will be dug out and make her lose a possible career move. Sexy videos or photos can ruin a career.
    2. Predators and rapist are the only one liking your videos, never cloaked your actions with an excuse "Women have rights" rights with what, sexual objectivity? Women fought for Women's freedom of sexual harassment and here you are selling it as a right to be a victim of one.
    3. What would you say if I tell you that all your followers are using your videos as a justification of how low women's standards are?
    4. No man is going to respect you this way, they may like you for sex but that's all you are to them.
    5. In reality you are only famous because of your body not because you have a talent.
    6. Lastly, videos like these are a proof that you have a very low self esteem. Because you need other people's approval you go as far as getting half naked on video just to get likes.
    7. All people see except for predators is someone who is desperate for attention nothing more. You are not showing a good value or example to little girls out there. You are telling them that it is ok to get naked in public to get famous.
    Remember your past is always going to follow you.
    I just hope she does not regret this someday when she finally realizes there are kinds of actions that have a prolonged consequences.

    I feel like the first girl and rapper are basing their value and success on social media likes.
    The rapper's mother who gave her TWO OLD SON an instagram is wrong. I see it as exploiting her children. A two year old can't consent to having their image online. I don't agree with children having social media.
