Mel, can we talk about father absence? There’s a pattern of single motherhood in my family. How can children overcome a constant fatherless childhood. (A lot of random men have been in and out of the home)
If at all possible, avoid having unprotected sex with men without a firm commitment and discernment of character. People don’t want to be single moms but set themselves up for it. Marriage was created for a reason although it’s not guaranteed. If you are a single mom that might not have been the plan and I’m not judging but... we have to think about protecting ourselves because horny men don’t have discernment and they aren’t stuck like single mothers are stuck. @@acomment5991 Good point. Men think they are entitled to have lots of sex. But it's like they didn't learn the reproduction bit in Biology lessons. Sex can lead to babies. But when someone they have slept with gets pregnant they don't want to know. Or, bizarrely, I have read articles that some men want the sex but don't even want to date the women they have sex with!
Susan Crome agreed. It’s like they have a blind spot about what happens behind the bedroom. Too many people set their children up to be damaged because they can’t see past their own lust and that current moment. People have babies not to contribute to society , people aren’t thoughtful with the gift of procreation.
@@acomment5991 We should not be having sex without marriage anyway and we women would not be husbandless with a baby. We always do the opposite and get caught with a baby or a disease. Sex without marriage is bad, we should not be doing. What did our Father say do! We always do the opposite, smh.
Andrea Simmons it’s true. People look at like you have 3 heads when it’s said. They think you’re judging and have old woman advice. Many women who get pregnant without a husband or who have different father for their children, struggle. I’m like, why struggle sis?!
This is not usual in Native American families. Many grandparents step up to help, because they don't want to lose their grandkids to the DSS.
7 is a 4 year olds bedtime
The grandparents shouldn't have to work overtime to pay for their grandkid, especially when mom and dad are young, working adults. Omari's father needs to step up. He and mom are taking advantage of the grandparents.

Ugh! Take a minute to think about how they will treat you when you get older and not able to take care of them and maybe even need their help. They might talk the talk, but mine didn't walk the walk. I spend my days hitting my forehead saying, "Stupid stupid stupid."
And the sister with the sunny personality is a bit annoying. Everybody isn't interested in that. You can get along while being different.
What are young people even doing creating babies? I’ll never get it. It’s like yeah …. I’ll just have a baby. I have no income, no education, no where to live but my relatives will just deal with it! no that’s not how it works. Have some responsibility for yourselves. These things need to be thought of before you even think about having children. This is what needs to be spoken about to more young people.
