I'm just starting back sea fishing after a break of about 20 years I'm not far from brighton marina so will definitely be giving it a try , really enjoyed watching this video some great helpful tips especially your rig set ups thanks for sharing 👍
Good video Gem we all get them slow slow days thats what makes the good days so much better. Keep the videos coming love watching them thanks for the time you put in doing them.
I love my Tronixpro bait pack. After a messy session when it comes home covered in Mackerel, worms and squid guts, I chuck it in a bendy bucket full of hot soapy water and hang it on the line and it’s good as new for the next trip. At the hour mark in your video, you mentioned something had bitten off your hook from the snood. We find crabs snip them off with ease and nick your bait. Maybe food for thought. Great video, thanks for making 👍
Yeah spiders get loads of hooks. Pretty sure it was a conger I was referring to in that video because I saw the bite -classic conger taps and I made contact with it too. Summer species rigs are great until those congers turn up!
I enjoyed watching your fishing sessions but please it will be nice if you mentioned the time of the year each session, like time, day, month and year Thank you
Thanks for watching! You can see roughly when the video was filmed from the TH-cam data. Most videos are up within a week or two of my fishing sessions. Sometimes they go up even quicker!
Many thanks for the video - certainly seems like a very tough day, but bravo for catching what you did manage. I find your marina vidoes very nostalgic - I did a little bit of fishing down there when I was a student at Sussex University, though that was about 15 years ago now. Anyway, keep you the great work! Also, a quick question on the black lug. You were slapping them against the wall - I've not heard of that before, what does it do?
nice one gem them bites seemed a bit hard to hit i think they were being a bit picky looked perfect as well still caught gem thats what its all about cheers stay safe
Hi, Just found your channel. Can you tell me please as to where you got the tray insert for your bait bag as I have same bait bag but want a tray for it . Many thanks

Thanks! Slapping black lug: it makes them tense up and present nicely on the hook.
@@ClickBaitGem Thank you. I'll give it a go.

Well picky! Pesky fish lol. 😂
hi gem hope you are well , little tip put some thing under your rods when on a concrete wall,
Thanks for the tip Michale.
Hi Gem great video thanks ,but your hooks look b8gger than a size w orsize 4 .is it the camera? Cheers Barry
It might be, but also different styles can be different sizes. Plus those supermatch hooks have quite a thick gauge.
Hey Gem, what's the fishing trolley you're using? Looks perfect for carrying a load of gear, Cheers
Tronixpro. You sure can get a lot of gear on it. Sometimes I have had two tackle boxes strapped on.

Sure - it’s a cat litter tray from my local pet shop. It really helps protect ragworm and gives rigidity to the bait pak.
Iv hauled in 2 good lobster close to that spot 😊
THANKS GEM dont use them new rubber hooks again thier no good gem xx
Thanks for the tip! 😂😂😂
Do you have to buy a ticket to fish from the Marina there ?
Yes you buy one when fishing. The warden comes around and takes cash. £6 for one rod, £7 for two.
