It’s the one venue that even know I’m in my late 40’s he don’t want me to fish, he watched someone kept wiped out there and killed many years ago and has hatted the mark since. Great video and a new subscriber. Tight lines Craig
I own both of what you want. Hardly ever wear the coat as I don't always feel the cold top half, but the bib n brace is so warm. Good socks and boots and you'll be sweet 👍. Tight lines
Well done mate nice session in the end. Hope you find your new job is less challenging than trying to film and fish in a gale although you do seem to like a challenge. Cheers mate tight lines 👍🎣🎣
Hi Alex. I'm using the Vass Winter 175 Jacket and it is a great bit of kit. Light, warm and most importantly I like how uninhibiting it is when casting.
Well done for persevering Alex! Some lovely bass aswell! I'm same, hate the wind, only thing worse is weed!!! Thanks for sharing with us bud, I'm already looking forward to the next one! Keep safe both you and family!
Cheers Alex, enjoyed that and im with you on the wind thing. The rocks are not a nice place to be when the weather takes a turn for the worst. See you next time. 🧔 👍
Hey Alex. Welcome back to South Wales. Witches Point, fished there last about 10 years ago now and it scared the bejesus out of me. Me and some mates nearly got washed off the rocks. It was winter around December with a big swell. Fishing for Cod. It’s a dangerous mark and you have to have your wits about you. A rouge wave can reck your day. Have said that, it’s an awesome mark in calm conditions but I wouldn’t take any risks. Great video.
Yeah, I know what you mean. The swell was slowly building through the session, but being a northerly, I wasn't expecting it to become unsafe at any point. Would definitely be better with 2 of you though so you have a spotter keeping an eye out.
Hi Alex great video nice bass shame about the wind I took hate the wind also have just bought akios fury 420 not used it yet is it a decent piece of kit thanks
@@theawfulangler I got the yellow n black coat n winter bottoms. Trust me water proof n warm alex. Your double my size so wouldn't like a jab in the fiz ogg for lying to ya hahahaha. All the best from G.Y
@@theawfulangler I got 350 coat n 175 winter bottoms alex. Got from veals. Am out 2 times a week . I wash em down thow with all my kit. I even wash my leads. I think its my o.c.d. lol.
@@theawfulangler Did not go in the end, was blowing well more than the forecast, so started in the garden instead. Being retired has its perks on the fishing front, plus only 15-20 mins from beach is great. Did you video the low water session as well, if you found anywhere that is out of the wind.
Thanks for the shout out bud
No worries mate 👍🏼

Not bad considering the conditions, lovely Bass at the end.

I do like a challenge, I'm hoping this job will give me a challenge and more time to film in the wind and rain 😅

Sounds great, looks like that's the way I'm heading then.

Thanks Bob! Yeah you need to have your wits about you that's for sure. Simple stuff can get sketchy quickly.
@@theawfulangler I like that, a new sign post at all rock marks. ' From this point on - simple stuff can get sketchy quickly.' 🧔 👍

Yeah really good at the minute, thanks, Neil. Hope you're good mate?
Nice 1...
Cheers buddy 👍🏼
More bottle than me ,but Derby is a long way and you didn’t really have a choice well done great video
Nothing to do with bottle mate, more like sheer stubbornness 🤣
Hi Alex great video nice bass shame about the wind I took hate the wind also have just bought akios fury 420 not used it yet is it a decent piece of kit thanks
Wind is the worst! The fury is a great rod you won't find better for the price I'm sure of it.
Nice one alex in tuff conditions. I've had the winter vass gear, now my 4th season n they spot on alex. All the best from G.Y
Nice one Carl, I've all but decided that's the way I'm going to go.

@carldawson832 🤣🤣 I wouldn't do that to ya Carl. Do you have the 350, or 175 version?

I have the 350 smock and it's great, but I get wetter from sweat than I think I would being exposed to tge elements 🫠
Nice Bass for a change, wind can be a right pain in the backside, nothing today for me, trying again tomorrow.
Thanks mate. Tough life when you get to keep trying day after day 😉

Are you fishing the diawa in 2 weeks on holderness coast
Not sure yet mate. The wife is down to work that day, but she does owe me some fishing time so will see if she can get cover or not.
You leaving Rolls Royce?
No mate, just moving divisions and back into engineering.
Few people died there
I can see why, it's quite exposed. Of that wind had turned west it would have got sketchy quick
Don’t like bass winter jacket not very waterproof I got reed waterproof jacket n bib n brace n can only said excellent
The only problem I have with Reed and titan is you can't see/try them before I spend that kind of money.
