      @@SomethingonSodom when you turn her on her rpms are really high and even when you lower the choke it’s still at a high rev and I can’t switch gears because of how high it is

      @@yfznoluv3257 there's a twist knob on the left side of the engine by the pull start... It's the idle. Try twisting the idle off a little bit and the rpms should drop. That's how the 300 is anyhow.

    Did you check the timing chain tension and mark on cam gear,could be its loose n jumped a tooth putting it out of time just enough to let too much fuel in at wrong time or its carb issue not shutting off fuel creating excess fuel into chamber.my guess my yamaha big bear 350 has same issue.it was just slack in chain they stretch over time allowing valve to stay open just too long.new chain fixed my backfire,hope that helps,happy wheeling.snooky pa.could even be cdi issue also that allows ur coil to spark at proper time..snooky

      Good advice. I ended up getting rid if the quad because i rarely used it. Using g the tractor for everything now.

    Hi. Thanks for this video. I have linhai mud runner 325. I have problems with valve adjustment. So I will do like you 0.13 and 0.18. I did 0.08 and 0.16 and not good.

    did adjusting the valves help with the slight bog and little back firing? im having what seems to be thr same exact issue.

      I ended up needed rings. It did help a little but I feel.

    Is it better do this after you've drained your oil during a change to avoid that oil coming out of the exhaust side?

    Thank you my quad doesn’t have good compression I’m guessing the valve it’s choke somewhere !

    Hello good day, I have a kawasaki prairie 400 4x4 2000 quad. It has a problem, it breaks the oil filter league due to oil pressure. Replace the oil pump, add a relief valve on the side, and there's still that problem. I don't know what to do anymore, can someone help me?

    Had no idea what the "screwdriver all the way out" find TDC was about. First of all it wasn't even clear where you were putting the screwdriver in the first place. In the spark plug hole?

      Yes but don’t use a damn screwdriver use a drinking straw place it in the spark plug hole rotate the engine with a wrench or use your pull rope but pull out a little at a time if you did it over and over you would notice that the straw will travel up and down to be at top dead center the straw will be all the way up. There is an easier way to do it put your finger over the spark plug hole and hit the electric start button and on the compression stroke air will blow your finger off the hole. Then you can look thru the inspection hole and make sure the t is lined up.

    Did this fix your issue? Or did it end up being something else? I have a prairie 360 that bogs down past 1/2 throttle but idles fine.

      it did not fix my issue. I believe its compression related.

      if you actually watched the video both intake and exhaust are listed. AND i give a really good hint on where you can find the valve specs too. (HINT its under your bum cheeks).
