Did my first solo winter camping trip (with my dog) in Feb of 22' at Kump Lake in BC, just north of Princeton. Hauled all my gear in a ski pulk and snowshoes up a hill for about 250 meters. Took my four trips (brought too much stuff) and spent 2 nights in a Luxe tipi tent with a wood stove. NO ONE around, just some elk passing though here and there. Got down to -18C at night. Didn't get to bed until 1:30am the first night, I was SO exhausted. Winter camping is a lot of work if you want to keep a fire going in your tent but it's a great experience. I've since done it a few times in different areas of BC and just LOVE it! No bugs, no bears, NO PEOPLE! Beautiful footage Greg!
