  • Chapter 6 meeting Mohan and Jayashri Gaitonde translators and disciples of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and final scene.
In 2006 Stephen Wolinsky proposed the idea of traveling to India and filming Nisargadatta Mahara’s translators and disciples and explore what was the legacy Maharaj left behind in his hometown, Mumbai.
In 2007 Zaya and Maurizio Benazzo together with Stephen Wolinsky, Philip Safarik and Fred Good traveled to India to shoot this film.
The meeting with the old devotees was both illuminating as well as deeply touching.
Over the next seven and a half years, we all plugged away, going through mounds of material allowing this project to reach completion.
The film you are about to see cannot demonstrate the amount of work that went into this project….but let’s simply say that finally it is complete…J
Nisargadatta did not leave an ashram; he did not leave any teachings, nor successors. This movie is homage to him; a look at his unintended legacy from people that have been inspired by him more then words can express.

    Thank you! Thank you Maharaj!
Your teachings saved me from living a petty life, full of unnecessary worries, fights, depression, heavy sadness, feeling that I am an unworthy person, and so many other (absolutely), useless things.
My eternal love and gratitude at your feet!

Love this. I have only listened to a small segment and already I am moved to tears. I don't know why I have such a connection to Maharaj but he moves and inspires me. So much love!

Without words and a lot of tears...thank you Stephen. We met at Yoga Inst. Schmida in Vienna, ca end of '90s. I was desperate and have beer, you hug me, look in my eyes, saying stern and warm take care of yourself. It plunged deep, helped, the journey was going on, beer is gone, what a wonder all of this, Love, Martin, Vienna

I feel gratitude for these videos. Bless you Stephen! I had gone to Khetwadi Lane in 2004, as a young american, and unfortunately I didn't manage to go up in the attic where Maharaj taught. However, I loved seeing where he sold his biddi's and walked and lived. I did meet with Ramesh in that year, however, and then on to Ramana's Ashram for a few days. Blessings!

Than you so much for these beautiful snippets ... Your glimpses into Nisargadatta Maharaj's teachings and the wonderful vignettes of the streets and people of Bombay...
You can see so many who live in abject poverty, yet there is joy radiating in their faces... I lived in Bombay (Mumbai now) till i was 26 years old... I will never forget that phenomena.... It is so uniquely Indian. I am deeply appreciative of your fine depiction of the "Legacy of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj".

Even the white guy gets turned Into = Gold = Maharaj Principle !
Maharaj says in one Talk: My Guru taught me the ( 5 Jeweled Ornament ) = which he says is the Conciousness of the Conciousness among the 5 Elements 3 Gunas === This also translates into Conciousness/Awareness of the quantum mechanical Wave function in hyperspace = How Conciousness exists in the MatrixSet...

    • @welcomeguest1581
      @welcomeguest1581 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

To watch how matter/Atoms “radiate through time”... How Quantum frames “process into imediate future space.... very profound things underlying what you think is really Reality....?

Where we can find our contact of these direct devotees? Any Facebook or WhatsApp group or ashram they used to come where they are part of it as sharing personal contacts in social media is not possible.
I am sincerely eagered to meet these couple. My pranams to them.

This was shot in 2006/2007, many are no more(read one comment saying they are liberated, 2 years back). Sad.
Read Maharaj book and contemplate on his teachings. That is enough.
