Very surprising given that trends of theft increases and high insurance for Land Rovers. I actually find that very hard to believe as the new RSP included 20% VAT & dealer margin which is usually lost. Who is going to buy it at over £45000 if a JLR dealer cant match the price?
Once you accept their offer you then leave your car with them and receive no money for 24-48hrs which considering internet banking is a push of a button and money is transferred instantly
Wbac have bought lots of stolen Range Rover / evoque in the past ! Criminals would apply for log book for a range , from a car on a forecourt and then steal same Color range once the log book arrives , straight to wbac and cash in … This is why they don’t do instant payments
You did well on that deal, as when I went to trade my car in they quoted way below market value for it. Ended up selling private and got a lot more. Great channel.
How come I never get a deal like this! WBAC offer for my Land Rover Discovery Sport was rubbish always lower than Motorway etc, so I sold privately through Auto Trader!
Car prices right now are absolutely horrendous. Great if you want to sell something, but what people, particularly private sellers, are currently asking for their rundown and clapped out pieces of junk is ridiculous.
A one off occurrence when there was a chip shortage 2 years ago. I made over £7000 on an VW Id.3, which I had owned for 18 months due to shortages of vehicles.
In January 2024 , today , I wonder what deal you would get for a vehicle in the same circumstances , ie 18 months old 2.5k on the clock . I’m guessing you wouldn’t make a profit . Fascinating , thanks for that .
Nice one really pleased for you,not dealt with them myself but my mate was offered £9,500 for a mint 9,000 mile van (18 plate l think 🤔) but has just sold for £17,000 privately - l have used Motorway cars and Carwow both good to work with - got £29,500 for my Mini GP - We Buy Any Car offered £27,250 👍😁
Anyone going to these people need to be aware that, you are charged 50 quid admin fee, and also 35 quid fee if you want your money within two days. You do not get your money straight away. They offered me 2,400 for my ABARTH 2012, very good condition, minus there 85 quid. I put the car on Ebay and got 3,800 for the car within 24 hours. These people are rip off, don't go !!!!!!!!!!!!!
All this information is told to you when you go in, if you dont want to do the deal, then walk away! you should always take your car to different places to get the best deal for you, I got a fantastic deal so was very happy!
Is that a letter or something 6:04, sitting on your seat? The lack of computer chips for cars, is causing the used car market to go completely haywire. Nicely done on the profit...
So you placed a deposit of 5K and spend 13K in 18 months = total spend 18k and you got 15K back from selling the car. (minus your PCP that they cover) So you lost 2k and did not profit. (little bit misleading video) I wonder what L. Rover offered.....
How do you work out I spent £13k on top of the £5k deposit? £13k included the £5k deposit, not misleading at all!! Landrover offered £42k. You need to watch the whole video until the end where I put the figures up on the screen….
Why would anyone who obviously lives in a town need something like that? It's on road tyres and hasn't even got a tow bar! Is it somekind of ego-trip? It's like having a large flag saying "wa**er" on the bonnet. In rural areas, we just laugh at these.

I agree, it sounds like a publicity stunt for WBAC. No one in their right mind would sell their car to them. I'm also with the people complaining about the thumping "music."
@@billguyan1913 erm....its exactly what happened to me and its all real, you have to remember that this video is from 2 years ago, when new cars were struggling to be made due to the chip shortage...
erm, if you check the date of the video, this was from just after covid when you were unable to get hold of new vehicles as the chips for the ECU's were in short supply, therefore main dealers and WBAC were paying over the odds for second hand cars as they could sell them for above list price to people who were desperate to own a nearly new car as mine was, so no, its not rubbish at all

First time in my life bought a car and 14 months later worth 3k more it’s just crazy, great video very entertaining 👍
Thanks Ryan, same for me, I have lost so much money on cars over the years….

lol, I bet! some people haven't got the common sense they were born with and try to ride the car boom with an old piece of junk!
Most people get a totally different price from what was offered online and far lower than expected
Yea, your car has to be perfect to get the full price, luckily mine was!
And if you go to different offices it’s dawn to the sales person and his commission
WBAC are owned and run by Bca and they will only offer what helps them in market shortfalls to supply the motor trade

Music is really distracting and unnecessary.
Now buy a super charger for the mustang :)
Lol! I probably would if it wasn’t under warranty!!
Please drop the music. Ridiculously irritating

I don’t understand why you would post a video with such poor audio and music playing louder than your voice .. can’t hear ya mate. Pointless!
early days of my channel, it was over 2 years ago!
