I've used mine up to an inch, but their not great on thicker cuts and will break. As for greasing, they don't need much, and the Husqvarna grease works far better 👍
Had the previous model. This one has been updated and a few bits made better. Mine is a bloody brilliant tool and paid for itself in no time. Its surprising what it can cut but definitely a trimmer more than a cutter.
Mines a year old , on it's 3rd motor 2nd Bowden cable and a head casing , absolute junk , ive also a HSA 100 which has new blade cams after a couple of months and very little work and is rattling like a box of smarties again already , yes you need ro grease the head frequently or the battery will red light
Ah that’s a shame I’m having an issue similar to what you said with only 1/3 of ours sometimes after use it won’t work not sure what the issue is, and yes! I noticed it’s needs greasing a stupid amount haha :)
Their a good unit when fresh but with time ive found they dont hold up as well as the Husqvarna hedgers, the huskies have a quicker cutting speed, eco mode and are much better designed for the user to hold imo

Ok thanks for the tip! We’re planning on using this one for shaping etc and the others for the thicker stuff :)
it's always nice to see a new tool and this one is really good having used it several times
Nice vid as always ! ✌
Thank you! Oo nice to know you like the tool too!
the batterys we used was the ap 300 and to start hedge cutter you dont need to press that button that just tells you the charge in it
Ahhh ok, never used one before saw a button and assumed it’s the on n off 🤣🤣🤣

Oh yeh 100% I’m loving it so far!
Good for fine trimming other than that like all long reach hedge cutters they don’t seem to last!
Ahh ok well we will see how long this one holds up :)
