Thanks for sharing. I'm Killarney based myself. Was looking at getting the Stihl HL94 petrol long reach trimmer. This battery equivalent is a serious contender going by this video.
I'm a fan of Husqvarna so will look at their offering too.

Robby great to hear from you. I worked the Hla 86 for an entire season last year with no issues whatsoever. I found the quick release extension pole very handy on deep hedges and awkward corner hedges. Best of luck with your decision and thank you for the sub✌️

Good video. I bought my HLA 86 five days ago and have used it a couple of times including today. I agree with everything you have said but the angle adjuster pull-down switch on mine seems alright, it doesn't seem flimsy at all although it is awkward to use. However I do agree that it does get mighty heavy especially when fully extended. But for me the best part of your video is how you've highlighted how to use the trigger arrangement. I thought that one slim trigger was useless but you have pointed out its purpose. So thanks for a great video and I am glad you give it an overall seal of approval bar your one gripe about the angle adjuster. Cheers.

Jonny you know the score with this machine it suits the lighter nicer hedges not the mad rough and ready lelandi or laurel stuff. The telescopic pole is extremely handy for hard to reach awkward hedges. Hope your power washer is an easy fix. I had many of them through the years they all broke my heart so packed in the powerwashing. I think water and engines do not mix too well😆

How long have you had it? Have you used it much ? I cut a lot of hedges (most days this time of year) my HLA 86 is a year old and on its 3rd motor 2nd Bowden cable and now back in the shop for broken casing 😡, my HSA 100 is a couple of months old , done very little and is also back in for bad vibrations and a nasty rattle, my FSA 90 strimmer is only suitable for homeowner use , but my MSA 161t chainsaw is good and my very old HLA 85 which I recently rebuilt the head, I've invested about a £1000 in batteries so we can cut all day and at the moment the machines don't last all day 🤷
