My wife bought herself a Pacifica a couple of years ago, which was just about fully loaded. It was her car and her choice, but I thought that I would hate driving it. Surprisingly, I find that I enjoy driving this minivan. The 6-cyl really makes the difference compared to other minivans.
Great review but could you please do a review of the hybrid version because I've heard that the added battery weight in the center of the car gives it a great handling feel on the road.
Matt, I really liked your review! Great job! You gave incredible detail of the actual vehicle and its features. You did not speak to quickly and you took time to show those features most people are looking for. My only request for someone who would actually utilize the famcam, is showing that it can be used in during the drive. All the videos I've seen, the reviewer does not show famcam work while in drive. The best part is that all the safety features are standard! That proves the importance of safety from Pacifica.
Matt, great review, this is a great van especially now with all wheel drive . Matt, I know you hate vans, but these actually make more sense then the crossovers, so much more room. Also, you Should do a review on The Voyager just to show the difference of what you get between the Voyager and the Pacifica. I heard they will eventually offer the voyager with all wheel drive?? did you hear anything. Happy you still do reviews on more practical vehicles, not every review has to be a sports car.
Looks so good... thinking of getting this one or 2021 toyota sienna How many USB there in total?remember that there was only 1 usb from the previous generation
Such an old steretype. I sell them and hardly ever see them in the shop for other than an oil change. They've come a long way, plus using the same power plant for forever has been a real asset.

@@daphenom45 your charger, dart, and 300 all date back to the Daimler days, which were indeed, dark days. The Pacifica is an all new platform. Yes, the first year had issues, but so does Toyota and Honda with their new vehicles. My 2019 had been trouble free and solid.

hey MATT... im thankful for you :) i love cars and watch you every day and have you in my must sub to people... thanks man... bc of you i am starting car reviews :)
Dear Chrysler: New Ford Bronco, New Jeep Wrangler, a god dam electric hummer. What should this tell you? The marked is F'N RIPE for an 'offroad version' of the Pacifica. Perhaps the "Pacifica Backroads" edition. Add a 4" lift. Some 'gravely' rubber. Black it out (no chrome). Give the interior the 'washable' treatment. BAM! Sales through the roof. (oh oh, and add a manual option...)
She wasn't able to come with me on this trip unfortunately. I doubt I'll take one as a press car since most of my viewers aren't into minivans so there probably won't be an interior review with Beth on this one.
I don’t know anyone who buys this vehicle type (which is a type you buy when you have a lot of others who depend on you) and also purchases this brand (a brand known for being one you can’t depend on).
NO Steering Assist in 2021?!?!? That’s a HUGE Oppritunity MISS! Like you Said Matt, You have kids, dog, distractions all over and no Steering Assist? That just don’t seem right at $54,000!!!!!
My Dad just got a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Limited S AWD in triple black loaded with everything except the roof. It's very powerful far as acceleration probably the most powerful minivan out there! We absolutely love ours, highly recommend it over any of the competition vans. Chrysler invented the minivan and they know this segment best! I'd recommend the naturally aspirated 3.6 V6 with traditional transmission setup like ours, over the hybrid version in which I've read isn't as good. And AWD is a must for those who want good traction.
I really think Chrysler should only make premium vans large and small as well as recreation vehicles (a Chrysler designed RV would be gorgeous) ... then make Imperial into its own brand and make up market sedans and crossovers, and bring back Plymouth as the budget brand and use the newly acquired PSA platforms
You’re almost the only commenter i have seen that thinks the Sienna is better looking than Pacifica.. but, to each his own. This minivan is gorgeous inside and out.
"doesn’t compete with the siennas sporty look" -- That is the only sporty thing about Sienna. It is a lumbering contraption struggling against every hill and screaming when you try to accelerate. Toyota screwed the pooch by not using the V6 hybrid and instead going to the asthmatic 4 cyl.
@@DavidElCid300 Lol. That's funny but to each his own. That Chrysler engine is a piece of garbage. Just slightly less worse than the delightful 3.6ltr V6! LMFAO

Just replaced my tires after 73k mikes on 2018 hybrid. Fantastic van!
Pacifica's are incredible vehicles. Great review!
No apostrophe in Pacificas because it’s a plural form, not a possessive.

When are they going to put the hellcat engine in it?? 😀👍 Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat longbody
Pacífica hellcat redeye: 797 freedom’s and a lot of wheelSpin. Now Karen have my respect.
I wouldn't be surprised if Chrysler dropped a Hellcat engine in the Pacifica.
Oscar Morales fo sho, Mopar or no car
I was just thinking that. Unexplored niche: 700hp AWD soccer mom bus. Lol!
“long body”...lolz. Well done.
Thanks as always for your videos for us. Wonder if anyone will actually buy this vehicle..
They would probably lease it
Except that the Pinnacle trim level does not have the Stow-and-Go seating.
Still kinda makes me sad they killed the Town & Country name, but it seems Chrysler is still putting out a competitive van.
Pinnacle does not have stow n go seats. The seats are thicker than normal seats for better comfort but can't fit into the stow space
Oh interesting, I must have missed that info, thanks for the correction.
Same with the Hybrid.
don't care about stow and go the thing I hate is that there is not middle seat

Are the 2nd row pillows stuck to the seat?
Nope, they move.
If Chrysler still made the 200 the front end would of looked identical to the the refreshed Pacifica
Thankfully they don’t, though... Not sure if the 200 ever reached “Lemon” status, but it had to have been near close.

How far we can possibly drive on flat tires?
Unfortunately Chrysler screwed up UConnect 5 with an update and has disabled the multiple profiles

2021 Pacifica? Didn’t they just change it to the voyager for 2020?
They still have both. The Voyager is the lower trim levels and the Pacifica is the more premium trims.

Why not a review with Beth on this one?
This review was part of a press trip that I went on by myself.
Enjoy the 2 years you will get out of it if you buy this, I can only imagine how bad the quality of the components used throughout the vehicle.
My brother lives in Charlotte. Really likes it. I live in apex (Raleigh). Really nice place to live as well
If you have to buy a Chrysler, for God's sake get the V6. The hybrid will break and cost thousands..look at their history
You can always get an extended warranty and maybe lease if you don't want to keep it long term.
