The lore for those two is a tad too vague though, what's there is good but there is more on their own dad an option side boss as well as other bosses like Pontiff and Yhorm. Can't have good lore if there is barely any to begin with, we are left with guesses at best for most of them.
OK, I know it's all subjective, but seriously; how can OoK get 17.5 for lore but Gascoigne gets 20? I mean, it's a good backstory for sure, but it's so inconsequential to the majority of the story, whereas Kos, and by extension OoK, is key to the entire game and especially to one of the game's most tragic figures.

OoK's lore is THE ENTIRE GAME. OoK represents his lore fine, in fact he's quite a difficult fight representative of a God. He's able to summon lightning, pull putrid balls of pure madness off his blade and chuck them at you with explosive force, he can pull off God-like feats no other enemy in the game is capable of. He is the game Bloodborne and he represents that very well. The final challenge to the game. Gascoigne does represent his minor role pretty well I guess but like it's hard to fuck up an everyman now isn't it. Put a rock next to three smaller rocks and suddenly you care about the larger rock's plight.
Well to be honest I agree with demod here they have to represent their lore in the fight for the lore to have weight and gascoigne represents what his lore entails now again all things subjective here but orphan of kos I feel isnt as good in that regard gascoigne is simple so his lore is simple to represent orphan of kos has a very complex (and I would be remiss if I didnt remind also rife with theories and less answers) being a godly being that hosts the hunters nightmare but he also isn't a grand being in that regard I mean think about orphan of Kos lore when you think godly being do you think naked man beating you to death with a bladed placenta not saying it was a bad choice just saying it doesnt represent its lore as well as it could have
I never understood why people thought the dancer was so hard. I walked in, smacked the wanker with my ultra greatsword, and claimed victory on my first shot. Still a fun fight though
+wolfstar124 I've done it with at least 6 different builds. Ultra greatsword was just my first character build. No matter what build, I've never had a hard time
be EXTREMELY aggressive when its only the one guy, then become EXTREMELY passive when the 2nd guy joins the fry, then when the red eyed dude comes, be decently aggressive. also (if your embered) there's a somoning sigh near the bonfire outside the boss arena.
the ivory king is my personal favorite boss for dark souls 2, i love his lore, his area, and his fight, sense i almost always use a heavly armored chick in my runs i tend to use one of the variants of the loyce or ivory sets depending on my mood/build, i love the buff it gives that basically makes each part into a evil eye ring. everything about his areas equipment and boss weapons is perfect for my playstyle, and that boss will always hold a special place in my heart
Finally I am not the only one thinking this :D. The sheer epicness of this fight was so good to me as the lore of this boss was told so well through gameplay/environment. I like that way better then this boss has awesome lore, but you have to read the wikipedia page en 20 fan theories to appreciate it, and of course the whole build up with the battle with the charred knights was awesome. But when the music hits it still send shivers down my spine out of the pure epicness of this fight.

I killed him in my first try ... It was my first souls game and i died like 20times against the normal gundyr haha still dont know how i killed the chanpion on my first try
Best way I've found to fight him is to: First Phase: Avoid the Katana form at ALL times. Bait the Lance form into charging for an easy dodge and hit. Mage Phase is pretty straightforward, charge him while avoiding his Crystal Soul Mass, and move behind him when you see him charge his Soul Stream. Second Phase: The best opening I've found is when he does his leap attack. Simply bait it and then roll to his left for a free hit.
God I love Manus, such an insanely intense and memorable fight. The gravity of the lore surrounding him just makes being in his presence have a freaky feel to it. But then the fight itself is so damn challenging and tense, and is a blast to go through (especially with a friend). Just such a good boss all around.
just like demodcracy says, difficulty is not the only factor, lore wise I find him interesting, he is designed in a way that makes him look so badass, the entertainment of fighting himmis great especially when you can do it early with the 1st encounter, and I don't know how many times people don't get this but difficlty is not scaling on how hard it is, but how fair it is at that point in the game. So imo just like demods, pursuer is my favorite ds2 Non DLC boss

Why did you take away points for twin princes' teleport mechanic? There's no RNG involved whatsoever (at least not more than with basically any other boss moves), it's a completely normal move that depends entirely on how you approach them. For example, they will often use it to reposition themselves and dodge your attacks if you're aggressive and try to take them heads on, but if you mostly stay away and go for the more tactical approach he will almost never use it. It's just like that with the dragonslayer armor, he will use his stance moves all the time during the first phase if you're too aggressive, but if you stay away and take your time you can basically avoid them entirely.
***** The only dangerous attacks are when he teleports, but these ones are also easy to avoid and Lothric isn't very dangerous Other than that greed is the biggest danger in the fight

Agreed. Beat him on my first attempt in my very first playthrough with 8 estus left because I was wearing Smough's armor and know how to hide behind a pillar when I need to.

I liked the list for the most part but I think it's kinda foolish reasoning for downing the father of the abyss because he doesn't fit your play style. The boss is supposed to be the stronger of you two so of course he is meant to control the fight and not allow you to do whatever you want. So knocking him because he punishes a more reckless play style isn't right to me.
But the point of games is to enjoy it. Where's the enjoyment in a fight where you have to do something you don't like just to beat a boss? That makes the boss a chore instead of an interesting fight.
I see what your saying but you can enjoy fighting him while he is still difficult for your play style. It's not like he is impossible with that play style it's just a harder approach that you as a player choose to take so I don't really see why the boss gets points deducted for that yanno
+Gaming Milk Because other playstyles might love the patience required to take on Manus. It's something entirely subjective to dock points off of. Plus given that Manus is probably (*coughdefinetlycough*) the Furtive Pygmy, that adds so much cool lore theory that it puts it over the top for me. I realize that's also entirely subjective on my part, since it's just a theory. I'm not saying Demodcracy is wrong necessarily, just that I disagree with him in this one instance.
I stuck around till the very end and you made my day once again. The PS4 stream was super fun by the way, and it was pretty awesome to attempt killing the giant worm with you.... until you got upper-cutted by it. Anyways, keep up the good work!
You talk about the entrance to the Burnt Ivory King’s arena being cool but honestly I liked the scene where he finally showed up to be a lot better! Like you’re killing all of these knights with your Loyce Knight buddies and then they suddenly stop spawning and you wonder what’s going on. Then, out of nowhere, this humongous arch rises out of the fire and then nothing. Then you see fire spew from the arch’s portal and a figure emerges, that figure being the king. The Burnt Ivory King gave me a lot of trouble when I did the Crown of the Ivory King but that entrance just might be the coolest thing in the series!
Anyway, top 10 will include Alonne, Artorias, Maria, Gehrman, Nameless King, Soul of Cinder, and I think Ornstein and Smough? I haven't kept good track.

As someone who spent 7 hrs straight on their first playthrough to beat the princes... now I know the fight in and out its enjoyable but I still get ptsd from my first playthrough.
Maiden Astraea and Garl Vinland are in my personal top 10 unforgettable fights. the setting, the protector that is Garl, the Maiden that has fallen, even the music that accompanies it. it was incredible.
What's funny about Allant is that you can defeat him before a lot of the other bosses, which is unintended (or at least unexpected), as you will still get the monologue from the Old One.
i just want to say, I'm blown away by the fact you can make such a brilliant quality of videos which must take countless hours to come up with and edit, and then take the time out of your day to then respond to 99% of my comments (I'm guessing its the same for everyone else too). I can't make up my mind if you're a better youtuber or a better person, but I know that you deserve the same amount, if not more, subscribers than pewdiepie. (fanboy levels cool down)

Orphan's my favourite fight so far. Took me under 10 attempts, but my final (and successful) attempt was the most thrilling experience I've ever had in a video game.
My favorite thing about Lorian and Lothric is that if you make both of their weapons from the boss soul, you can then fuse them into one really awesome sword. It has a D scaling in every stat, and the Weapon Art is the Light element pierce for the light attack, and the Fire attack for the Strong attack. I find that a really cool touch.
DeModcracy, it's interesting how these videos can show how playstyle can cause the game experience to change so much for each person. You said with Champion Gundyr the only thing you can't stand about it is its charge attack. For me personally, I speedrun DS3 soul level 1 all bosses and that is like the one attack throughout that fight that I bank on happening and I feel is safe.
Wow watching you fight Sif brought back memories of when I fought that boss using the Furysword. All of Sif's fur combined with the flame effect on the Furysword made the whole fight run at like 10 FPS XD. Glad to see you didn't have the same problem. Great fight though.
I just want to say fume knight is deserving of a top 10 spot, sense it's totally optional to fight Raime with the ashen idols healing him he shouldn't have had design and entertainment points docked. Although the pursuer definitely deserves his spot, he plain and simple is just a great early boss and an excellent learning tool for new players.

Either Gherman, Maria, or Ludwig has to b top 3. They're all really memorable. ANd the music in those fights is REALLY good... its not even opinion lol its just great. And the boss arenas too are beautiful I think those fights are honestly perfect. Maybe just make Maria a little less parryable and it'd be perfect.
Fume Knight on nr 14? For me the best lore in the series, the best design in the series and the hardest challenge. What else is there needed for a souls series boss?

Even though King is memorable for being really hard, I think that Abyss beats King on lore and entertainment value. I wouldn't mind if that wasn't the case either. Im really happy Abyss made it to the top 10.
Lore? Abysswatchers are a fan cult of Artorias lead by possibly Sif, who watch over the abyss that's rising in Carthus. Then the Nameless King is the son of the end boss in DS1 who was originally a dragonslayer but was banishes after siding with them, he then arrived in Archdragon Peak and the serpentine men worshipped him as god. I'd take Nameless King over Abyss Watchers lore wise. I'd say they're equal entertainment wise.
I think these bosses are left... Dark Souls: O&S and Artorias. Dark Souls 2: Alonne. Dark Souls 3: Nameless King, Soul of Cinder and... Abyss Watchers? Bloodborne: Gehrman, Ludwig and... Maria? Demon's Souls: No clue, never played it or watched a lot of videos about it. If someone knows, please tell me. At this point, it's really hard to tell for me what is ranked where, but i'm really looking forward to this video.
I feel like I missed something when I fought the Tower Knight then. Because I get that the opinions are what makes the list, but I can't see how he is TOWERing above the other bosses. But seriously, I don't really get it. If someone here feels like it belongs in the top ten, could you explain why?
Great list you really nailed it here. I might have moved Maiden Astrea up into top 10 her fight and story is more haunting than anything I can think of in Souls. Gascoine is up there as well... So many good Souls bosses though.
I remember I was fighting the fume knight for the first time wearing velstadt armor. He goes into the two handed mode immidiatly which tbh made the fight alot easier for me. Great video!

Ornstein and Smough is my favourite fight in the series so far (only played Dark Souls and 15 hours of 2 right now). Anyway, another great video! You clearly put a lot of effort into every one. I'd like to get a PS4 just for Bloodborne (there are a handful of other exclusives that interest me but Bloodborne is the first game I'll get if/when I do get one). I recently bought Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition on PC, so if you're playing, look out for my summon sign :) (although I won't be able to play it often due to only being able to access a gaming PC every few weeks).

I'd honestly put Sir Alonne a lot higher. As long as you didn't have a greatshield, he was a great and challenging fight and he was a lot of fun. Not to mention, he has some of my favorite lore in all of the games. He is one of my personal favorites, if not favorite, boss in the series. Then again, my opinion on Dark Souls 2 in general is the opinion of the minority..

remember, dark souls is known for the slow pace gameplay mechanic, and bloodborne is more fast pace, so it makes sense he said manus is too aggressive for dark souls 1...

my favorite part of the pursuer encounter is that he's this hulking metal monster with a huge sword and huge shield and he SLAMS into the ground like a meteor, but then he does the last thing you'd expect and almost delicately rises to float a few inches off the ground. i love contrast like that in design. definitely one of the most brilliant choices made in ds2.
I know! It's the balance of force and finesse that really makes a shiver run down my spine. Even though DS2 has its fair share of problems, one can hardly fault the design of some of the series' most iconic bosses.
It depends on your build. I was able to be super aggressive with melee and kill her quickly before the summons became to much of a hassle. If the summons are giving you trouble, just take it slow and look for good attack windows.
+theDeModcracy As it currently stands, my best weapon is the majestic greatsword +5, with the propping up of a few decent rings. strength and dexterity at 33, vitality is somewhere around 19, and endurance is about 22. My build is mainly around greatswords, but unfortunately, I can't infuse the majestic greatsword since it's best moveset is when it's left handed.

I thought Abyss Watchers were one of the fights in whole souls-borne series. The cutscene was badass. Lore about them is one of the best in game. Also design of their armor, and arena is awesome. And their moveset, and mechanic with another watchers coming, and one is againist you, and another fights beside your arm is very good. I would rate them for my 3rd favourite boss in series. If i made any grammar or vocabulary mistake i'm sorry because i don't normally speak english.
Having only actually played through DS3, I'm curious: are there any other bosses in the series that have a sort of "1%" mechanic? Lothric is the closest I've seen to a sort of 1%, meaning that once you wither down the boss' health, they have a sort of last stand that you have to watch for or else you die or fail sorta thing. I personally really like the idea, so long as it's not super hidden and it's only a thing with maybe 1-2 bosses at most in a game

Considering Gascoigne's theme was my ring tone for most of 2015 I am super glad to see him in at least the top 15. I still remember the chills that ran down my spine when I heard "The sweet blood..." for the first time.

I couldn't agree more with your opinion on Champion Gundyr. For me that fight is perfect when it goes well, but sometimes the mofo just doesn't let me breathe for a second and I feel like I'm playing the game on fast forward. And pro tip: to dodge his charge, assuming you have enough room to do so, the INSTANT he starts winding it up, which is usually around 60% health, furiously dodge backwards. If done right, you will avoid all of the charge and even the slash at the end if timed right.
Was pleasantly surprised to find Pursuer here. I honestly didn't noticed that he wasn't mentioned through the whole list until now. I honestly love that guy. Yes, he's kinda easy once you learn to fight him (especially after you learn how to parry his charge attack) but i always enjoy fighting him. It's such a fair and beautifully paced fight. Not slow and boring when boss just stands far away and waits and not super fast, like for example, Champion Gundyr. He's kinda slow, yet he uses his time wisely attacking you when he can. Also he just looks so damn badass. Big, armored, and flying of all things. Like some kind of war-angel. The only thing i'm sad about is that there is no pursuer armor in any of the game, only his sword and shield (and shield also makes the return in DkS-3) so i can't cosplay as one.

I never understood why people thought the dancer was so hard. I walked in, smacked the wanker with my ultra greatsword, and claimed victory on my first shot. Still a fun fight though
I had difficulty with the dancer but I've never died to Soul of Cinder no matter the build

It took me about 4 tries but I hadn't even beat the abyss watchers yet
be EXTREMELY aggressive when its only the one guy, then become EXTREMELY passive when the 2nd guy joins the fry, then when the red eyed dude comes, be decently aggressive. also (if your embered) there's a somoning sigh near the bonfire outside the boss arena.

the ivory king is my personal favorite boss for dark souls 2, i love his lore, his area, and his fight, sense i almost always use a heavly armored chick in my runs i tend to use one of the variants of the loyce or ivory sets depending on my mood/build, i love the buff it gives that basically makes each part into a evil eye ring. everything about his areas equipment and boss weapons is perfect for my playstyle, and that boss will always hold a special place in my heart
Finally I am not the only one thinking this :D. The sheer epicness of this fight was so good to me as the lore of this boss was told so well through gameplay/environment. I like that way better then this boss has awesome lore, but you have to read the wikipedia page en 20 fan theories to appreciate it, and of course the whole build up with the battle with the charred knights was awesome. But when the music hits it still send shivers down my spine out of the pure epicness of this fight.
Sir Alonne is my fav, it just feels like an honourable duel and it has awesome lore plus the "sudoku" secret is very well done

Best way I've found to fight him is to:
First Phase: Avoid the Katana form at ALL times. Bait the Lance form into charging for an easy dodge and hit. Mage Phase is pretty straightforward, charge him while avoiding his Crystal Soul Mass, and move behind him when you see him charge his Soul Stream.
Second Phase: The best opening I've found is when he does his leap attack. Simply bait it and then roll to his left for a free hit.
God I love Manus, such an insanely intense and memorable fight. The gravity of the lore surrounding him just makes being in his presence have a freaky feel to it. But then the fight itself is so damn challenging and tense, and is a blast to go through (especially with a friend). Just such a good boss all around.
What's the Pursuer doing so high up? He's such a boring fight to me, maybe because SOTFS makes me fight him a million times.
just like demodcracy says, difficulty is not the only factor, lore wise I find him interesting, he is designed in a way that makes him look so badass, the entertainment of fighting himmis great especially when you can do it early with the 1st encounter, and I don't know how many times people don't get this but difficlty is not scaling on how hard it is, but how fair it is at that point in the game. So imo just like demods, pursuer is my favorite ds2 Non DLC boss

Why did you take away points for twin princes' teleport mechanic? There's no RNG involved whatsoever (at least not more than with basically any other boss moves), it's a completely normal move that depends entirely on how you approach them. For example, they will often use it to reposition themselves and dodge your attacks if you're aggressive and try to take them heads on, but if you mostly stay away and go for the more tactical approach he will almost never use it. It's just like that with the dragonslayer armor, he will use his stance moves all the time during the first phase if you're too aggressive, but if you stay away and take your time you can basically avoid them entirely.
I agree, and I don't find his teleport mechanic cheap at all. He doesn't lock on though for some reason, so that might make it worse...

Orphan of Kos is the soul (Hehe~) reason why I found most of Dark Souls 3 bosses to feel easy.

I liked the list for the most part but I think it's kinda foolish reasoning for downing the father of the abyss because he doesn't fit your play style. The boss is supposed to be the stronger of you two so of course he is meant to control the fight and not allow you to do whatever you want. So knocking him because he punishes a more reckless play style isn't right to me.
But the point of games is to enjoy it. Where's the enjoyment in a fight where you have to do something you don't like just to beat a boss? That makes the boss a chore instead of an interesting fight.
I see what your saying but you can enjoy fighting him while he is still difficult for your play style. It's not like he is impossible with that play style it's just a harder approach that you as a player choose to take so I don't really see why the boss gets points deducted for that yanno

Thats Dark Souls though, learning from mistakes and adapting according to the circumstances is a pretty vital part of the game.

You talk about the entrance to the Burnt Ivory King’s arena being cool but honestly I liked the scene where he finally showed up to be a lot better! Like you’re killing all of these knights with your Loyce Knight buddies and then they suddenly stop spawning and you wonder what’s going on. Then, out of nowhere, this humongous arch rises out of the fire and then nothing. Then you see fire spew from the arch’s portal and a figure emerges, that figure being the king. The Burnt Ivory King gave me a lot of trouble when I did the Crown of the Ivory King but that entrance just might be the coolest thing in the series!
Anyway, top 10 will include Alonne, Artorias, Maria, Gehrman, Nameless King, Soul of Cinder, and I think Ornstein and Smough? I haven't kept good track.
Oh and I think Ludwig.

As someone who spent 7 hrs straight on their first playthrough to beat the princes... now I know the fight in and out its enjoyable but I still get ptsd from my first playthrough.
Maiden Astraea and Garl Vinland are in my personal top 10 unforgettable fights. the setting, the protector that is Garl, the Maiden that has fallen, even the music that accompanies it. it was incredible.
What's funny about Allant is that you can defeat him before a lot of the other bosses, which is unintended (or at least unexpected), as you will still get the monologue from the Old One.

Orphan's my favourite fight so far. Took me under 10 attempts, but my final (and successful) attempt was the most thrilling experience I've ever had in a video game.
My favorite thing about Lorian and Lothric is that if you make both of their weapons from the boss soul, you can then fuse them into one really awesome sword. It has a D scaling in every stat, and the Weapon Art is the Light element pierce for the light attack, and the Fire attack for the Strong attack. I find that a really cool touch.

DeModcracy, it's interesting how these videos can show how playstyle can cause the game experience to change so much for each person. You said with Champion Gundyr the only thing you can't stand about it is its charge attack. For me personally, I speedrun DS3 soul level 1 all bosses and that is like the one attack throughout that fight that I bank on happening and I feel is safe.
Wow watching you fight Sif brought back memories of when I fought that boss using the Furysword. All of Sif's fur combined with the flame effect on the Furysword made the whole fight run at like 10 FPS XD. Glad to see you didn't have the same problem. Great fight though.
I just want to say fume knight is deserving of a top 10 spot, sense it's totally optional to fight Raime with the ashen idols healing him he shouldn't have had design and entertainment points docked. Although the pursuer definitely deserves his spot, he plain and simple is just a great early boss and an excellent learning tool for new players.

Lore? Abysswatchers are a fan cult of Artorias lead by possibly Sif, who watch over the abyss that's rising in Carthus. Then the Nameless King is the son of the end boss in DS1 who was originally a dragonslayer but was banishes after siding with them, he then arrived in Archdragon Peak and the serpentine men worshipped him as god. I'd take Nameless King over Abyss Watchers lore wise. I'd say they're equal entertainment wise.
Alan Varner I doubt Gehrman for number 1. His difficulty might put him off. He does have some bs moves.

Great list you really nailed it here. I might have moved Maiden Astrea up into top 10 her fight and story is more haunting than anything I can think of in Souls. Gascoine is up there as well... So many good Souls bosses though.
I remember I was fighting the fume knight for the first time wearing velstadt armor. He goes into the two handed mode immidiatly which tbh made the fight alot easier for me. Great video!

Ornstein and Smough is my favourite fight in the series so far (only played Dark Souls and 15 hours of 2 right now). Anyway, another great video! You clearly put a lot of effort into every one. I'd like to get a PS4 just for Bloodborne (there are a handful of other exclusives that interest me but Bloodborne is the first game I'll get if/when I do get one). I recently bought Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition on PC, so if you're playing, look out for my summon sign :) (although I won't be able to play it often due to only being able to access a gaming PC every few weeks).

Not to mention, he has some of my favorite lore in all of the games. He is one of my personal favorites, if not favorite, boss in the series. Then again, my opinion on Dark Souls 2 in general is the opinion of the minority..

my favorite part of the pursuer encounter is that he's this hulking metal monster with a huge sword and huge shield and he SLAMS into the ground like a meteor, but then he does the last thing you'd expect and almost delicately rises to float a few inches off the ground. i love contrast like that in design. definitely one of the most brilliant choices made in ds2.
I know! It's the balance of force and finesse that really makes a shiver run down my spine. Even though DS2 has its fair share of problems, one can hardly fault the design of some of the series' most iconic bosses.

It depends on your build. I was able to be super aggressive with melee and kill her quickly before the summons became to much of a hassle. If the summons are giving you trouble, just take it slow and look for good attack windows.
+theDeModcracy As it currently stands, my best weapon is the majestic greatsword +5, with the propping up of a few decent rings. strength and dexterity at 33, vitality is somewhere around 19, and endurance is about 22. My build is mainly around greatswords, but unfortunately, I can't infuse the majestic greatsword since it's best moveset is when it's left handed.

For me, the Soul of Cinder is the best boss of the series. I could not have wished for a better ending. First you are fighting yourself practically, and the music in the second phase is the most emotional one I've ever heard.

I found any boss you can parry to be easy tbh. But she is a GREAT boss and not parrying her made the fight 10x harder.
of course she's top ten besides ludwig she's probably the most memorable fight in all of blood borne due to how many times she changes her fighting style on you.
She's my favorite boss in the series.

hey, the abyss watchers fight was pretty badass. maybe not difficult (depending on the person), but still pretty dam cool.
My favorite fight in all of Dark Souls 3
I thought Abyss Watchers were one of the fights in whole souls-borne series. The cutscene was badass. Lore about them is one of the best in game. Also design of their armor, and arena is awesome. And their moveset, and mechanic with another watchers coming, and one is againist you, and another fights beside your arm is very good. I would rate them for my 3rd favourite boss in series. If i made any grammar or vocabulary mistake i'm sorry because i don't normally speak english.

Having only actually played through DS3, I'm curious: are there any other bosses in the series that have a sort of "1%" mechanic? Lothric is the closest I've seen to a sort of 1%, meaning that once you wither down the boss' health, they have a sort of last stand that you have to watch for or else you die or fail sorta thing. I personally really like the idea, so long as it's not super hidden and it's only a thing with maybe 1-2 bosses at most in a game

Gotta say, Champion Gundyr is one of my favorites in DS3. Mainly because parrying him is so easy and fun
I find gundyr's difficulty similar to Gwyn where it becomes insanely easy when you parry but is quite hard if you don't.

I couldn't agree more with your opinion on Champion Gundyr. For me that fight is perfect when it goes well, but sometimes the mofo just doesn't let me breathe for a second and I feel like I'm playing the game on fast forward. And pro tip: to dodge his charge, assuming you have enough room to do so, the INSTANT he starts winding it up, which is usually around 60% health, furiously dodge backwards. If done right, you will avoid all of the charge and even the slash at the end if timed right.

I honestly didn't noticed that he wasn't mentioned through the whole list until now.
I honestly love that guy. Yes, he's kinda easy once you learn to fight him (especially after you learn how to parry his charge attack) but i always enjoy fighting him. It's such a fair and beautifully paced fight. Not slow and boring when boss just stands far away and waits and not super fast, like for example, Champion Gundyr. He's kinda slow, yet he uses his time wisely attacking you when he can.
Also he just looks so damn badass. Big, armored, and flying of all things. Like some kind of war-angel. The only thing i'm sad about is that there is no pursuer armor in any of the game, only his sword and shield (and shield also makes the return in DkS-3) so i can't cosplay as one.
I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work and the videos you make for us. I look forward to these videos every week, and really enjoy hearing your opinion on topics within the Souls series. Keep it up! :)

Oh yah thank you. The series wrecked me and was turned off on it for a long time. After give Dark Souls a 3rd chance and finally got gud I became addicted.
