It’s absolutely no problem if you use ABS Like Resin. I printed so much technical stuff with this and its working perfectly. I’m not sure about normal Resin but for ABS like it’s fine
I actually just printed one out in resin! Works fantastically. Just had to sand the peg on the steering wheel down a bit so it could fit by friction. I also didn’t cure any of the parts so they wouldn’t snap and they’d have that but of flexibility
I printed this before, and unfortunately there is a pretty big flaw with the design. the bit that fits into the bearing has nothing but layer adhesion keeping it from breaking, and I broke 2 of them, one broke just trying to get it into the hole. you'd need to print it at an angle to keep it from breaking or something.
That’s an odd one. I’ve had very very very few wheels break when installing the 1000+ that I’ve printed of them. I even still have the original one I printed 2+ years ago that’s held up amazing.
They are a lot of fun to play with... better than a $300 wheel... probably not but who has that kinda money to spend on a wheel when I could buy another printer haha

I bought one from Etsy from a german dealer. It constantly presses the share button on the Xbox series controller, because it is in the middle below the Xbox button. What can I do to fix this?
Been at for about ten minutes of adjustments my steering linearity is at 60 (i use inside camera) my deadzone is 0 (inside) & 80 on the outside(havent tested outside view yet)

@@ELTABULLO just did a search for y’all. Found a PXN V900 for $50 on Marketplace. Thrustmaster T80 for $85. Thrustmaster TMX (with force feedback) for $80. Prices are negotiable. Even with inflation, there are still some cheaper wheels. Basically, if you search for the deal, I promise you will find it 😉

Nice video. Full marks to Pixel2 for the model. Instead of WD40 a better option would be silicon spray lubricant as WD40 does attract dust.

3 in 1 lube from Lowes works better than wd40 in my opinion. A drop goes a long way!

How long does the print take on a resin printer and can it fit, maybe not all at once, on smaller printers like Anycubic Photon Mono?
Depends on the settings. Mine took 4 hours

Gotta say this does not do a great job with steering. To turn effectively, you have to shove the thing almost all the way to the left or right

I printed first version and i didn't like it at all. Its too tall and i have small hands so my thumbs start to hurt after couple of minutes of use.
I believe Pixel2 made a smaller wheel file that you can print as well. Might help with that.

Lithium grease would be better than wd-40. Wd-40 isn't technically a lubricant.
