BMW X5 Air Suspension waking up!

- Let the car sleeping with the suspension on "access mode". In the morning, press and hold the alarm button to unlock the door. All windows will open, then the air suspension wake up too. Hope you like!

Q tal tengo una bmw x5 la cual no tiene potencia al arrancar y mucho menos en pendientes una vez impulsada entra la sobremarcha sin problemas haciendo los respectivos cambios bien la falla q m aparece en el tablero es nivel inactivo y pastilla d frenos si alguien m pudiera ayudar lo agradeceria muchisimo

simly suspension is broken... and air in long station, let out of suspension.. when you open car air take in suspension from receiver...

Hey brother I have a similar issue with my car. The ride height never drops or lifts and I also never hear the compressor. And I got the same fault on my dash. Does this mean my compressor is faulty??? Like I said my ride height never changes and all bmw experts say it’s a common fault and they refuse to touch it. Thanks from Australia 👍🏼

You can convert the X5 to normal springs! I wish I could on my F11. BMW air bags are garbage.

Im having similar issue with my 2006 X5 4.8is since I asked my mechanic to re set the height of my car,and SUSPENSION INACTIVE appear on my dashboard,,again

@@WingMan1 no,I don’t think it can be done without proper diagnostic scanner mate, it could be the whole suspension problem or it could be just a sensor

Nahhh, I didn't. Let the suspension sleeps on access mode. In the morning do the test.
Mate is the x5 supposed to let the air out when off, and jus activate when you turn the car on. It doesn’t say suspension inactive. But it drops even if off for a short time. I thought there might be a leak but when I put the car to the top suspension height and turn off the car, it doesn’t go back down it stays up all night, so there can’t be a leak right. Or is the car suppose to let out the air when off
my 08 4.8is did this and the dealership fixed it. its caused by a tear in the air suspension.
"iS" was only part of E53 family, 4.6iS and 4.8iS. 2008 X5 is E70
farizrza Negative, the E70 family has the 3.0iS for the 2007 MY.
nerdFirefighter... not to get into pissing match and the semantics, but the confusion comes from BMW AG naming their cars in NOT so consistent manner - the E70 for all years, including the LCI, had the "d", "sd", "i", "si" and of course, the "///M". you see, they confused folks by reversing the "is" from the E53, to "si" in E70. By the way, the X5 in the video is a facelifted (2004-2006) E53 4.8iS, as the last E53 rolled off the assembly line in SC in September of 2006.

I am having similar issues.
Wakes up in the morning and one side of the suspension drops.
Mate is it dropped all day when driving
Awesome feature but the front shocks usually break and its a costly fix.
It’s a cheap fix Coilover conversion who needs that shit
I think this is very cool feature. I have just casual iron springs on mine and have thought should I do this air 2-axle conversion.
as far as i know - that is not good ! not supposed to do that
mate your suspensions fucked lol mines used to wake up aswell cost 500 notes to get it to stay up
I have 4:4 an i have
but the E53 never had air suspension, so its not from BMW
On the 4.6is and 4.8is they did

Roman F not true... i have 2006 e53 3.0d and i have the full air suspension front and rear with the button to control it next to the steeringwheel. It was optional on the e53 facelift. The 4.8is has always air suspension like this.
I have an 04 plate E53 3.0d and it has air suspension. Who told you that???
