Hey brother I have a similar issue with my car. The ride height never drops or lifts and I also never hear the compressor. And I got the same fault on my dash. Does this mean my compressor is faulty??? Like I said my ride height never changes and all bmw experts say it’s a common fault and they refuse to touch it. Thanks from Australia 👍🏼

You can convert the X5 to normal springs! I wish I could on my F11. BMW air bags are garbage.

Im having similar issue with my 2006 X5 4.8is since I asked my mechanic to re set the height of my car,and SUSPENSION INACTIVE appear on my dashboard,,again

my 08 4.8is did this and the dealership fixed it. its caused by a tear in the air suspension.

simly suspension is broken... and air in long station, let out of suspension.. when you open car air take in suspension from receiver...

Awesome feature but the front shocks usually break and its a costly fix.

How do I get the suspension on "access mode? I am having similar issues. Wakes up in the morning and one side of the suspension drops.

@dagger5707 I'd like to say first that I prefer the 3000gt body way better than a stealths, with that said they have the same exact interior, everything under the hood is the same, it was built by mitsubishi... the only difference being the bumpers, sideskirt and spoiler lol, it's not like the stealth is really that different and most people that don't follow them religiously will categorize the 2 together.

@curmston im gonna bring it up.. stealth is NOT a 3000gt, sorry dude but i hate when people say there "the same thing" not saying u said that but yea. two completely different cars
