It’s interesting seeing people have nostalgia over the late EA nascar games (08 and 09), even though they aren’t exactly good games. Makes me wonder if in 15 years we’ll see people looking back on the heat games fondly

Don’t think anyone actually misses 08 at all. 09 in the 360 wasn’t too bad. Part of the nostalgia is due to the fact that it was the first NASCAR game to introduce online racing. Then Eutechnyx first release was unplayable online for the first several months, so people fell back in love with 09.

I haven't played them in a long time, but one thing I do remember about NASCAR 08 & 09 is that the rubber banding was ridiculous. If you weren't in the lead, it seemed like the game was easy. Once you got the lead however, well we saw the 20 car on the last lap there

nascar 08: god awful on Xbox 360 and painfully average on the PS2
Nascar '14: honestly a pretty good underrated game
Nascar heat 4: (I think it counts he is featured on the cover) not bad at all but not amazing just firmly decent.

Seeing him go through this reminds me of my bad times on this game, and I had the ps2 version. I remember getting so mad or frustrated that I would just go back to playing dirt to Daytona

The PS2 version was good in my opinion the PS3 and 360 versions were horrible. I sold my PS3 version to get the PS2 one because it was so much better
