Best dlc Forza ever released. Still needs dedicated Nascar options tho. Like the full grid, nascar rules etc etc

2004 has the best career mode but I'm more inclined to like 2005 solely for having Trucks and Xfinity/Busch (even though like half of the drivers are fictional for both of those series).

@@tankdempsey558 The car's handling was too stiff in that game. I liked 2004's driving model and race presentation over 2005. Other than the revamped career mode, 2005 was pretty watered down.
Not to mention the fact that they recycled the engine sounds from Dirt to Daytona.
Those two game (Dirt To Daytona and Heat Evolution) should never be mentioned in the same sentence, or somebody's getting hurt. All hail D2D!

@@COCarDude Agreed. Dirt to Daytona was the only console-based NASCAR game I ever enjoyed up until Heat 4 came out.
Dirt to Daytona and NT2004 were the best NASCAR games I've ever played by far
Nascar HEAT evolution was literally a reskin of HEAT 2002 in the unity engine. HEAT 2 was slightly better but still just HEAT 2002 in unity. HEAT 3 was pretty good, a big step forward and finally more like Dirt to Daytona. HEAT 4 is literally Dirt to Daytona modernized with great graphics and decent physics, a massive upgrade with fmod and the new unity.
They started rough but got better....eutechnyx was rough but got better over the short time they had. There are still big improvements to be made, but HEAT 4 is a great base to build off of. The biggest things are....
1. Detailed paint booth
2. Improved crash physics
3. More realistic damage
4. The trucks use wranglers, not eagles
5. The clash and shootout and all star races must be added
6. Pre race show like the thunder games had
7. Character models need huge overhauls
8. Online practice
9. One player per driver, instead of multiple people using the same cars
10. Fixed nameplates on the windows, so custom cars don't look so out of place.

Inside line wasn't bad... The Eutechnyx games were by no means the best but they were all good games up until the NASCAR '14 and '15 games.

The Eutechnyx games had awesome physics that were both fun, and made logical sense. The 704 games feel awful. Between the awful physics and awkward stick sensitivity, the Heat games are terrible. They keep applying band-aids that don’t actually improve much.
Edit: iRacing with a controller is more fun than the last couple NASCAR games.
The Game 2k13 is good, and fun, but the "Highlights” area of the game are close to impossible to win. The one with Mark Martin and Joey Lagano at Pocono is ridiculous. Everytime you pass Joey on the outside, he puts you in the wall. Everytime you pass on the inside, he turns you. Ahhhhhh!!!!!
The only ETX game that was enjoyable and had good physics was NASCAR The Game: Inside Line. No idea what the hell happened after that but it went downhill super quick.
funny...Eutechnyx was given the reputation of this era back then, but suddenly it gets reappraisal after 704...I don't know, seems like very mild ungratefulness just got hurt even more by the subpar performance of Eutechnyx with some parts worsening in 704

Omg I totally forgot I did a review for this game. This was so bad I wanted to do more videos on this game but I couldn't take it anymore. But 704 has gotten soo much better with each year that passes. Excellent video as always thank you for the feature.
I'm so glad I didn't waste my money on this game the car physics and the audio from the engine came from the old nascar heat games it's like they cheaped out I was really disappointed when I saw the gameplay. Come back now I got Nascar Heat 5 for Christmas and it's pretty fun but not the greatest Nascar game I played but I do enjoy this game but a few problems that I have with this game is the your customization options a very lack of detail wasn't put into it things like adding more sponsorship and decal to your car and also number fonts. Career mode is fun but always pick someone else is car than my own car because I like to look good on the track and winning races while doing so so I do recommend choosing something else is car instead of the car that you created.

14 was very good in my opinion. There were bad glitches, yes, but the physics were fun, and the paint booth was incredible. The music was horrendous though

I still have this game, and it holds a special place in my heart. It was the first xbox game I ever played, it was the first game I got into an xbox party on, and it also introduced me to some of my best friends on xbox. Not to mention it was the last time my two favorite drivers of all-time, Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards, would be in a NASCAR game in the Cup series
Nascar Heat 4 has improved a lot compared to Heat Evolution. Physics, AI, car's sound ... worth a try.

Still needs: A fully fleshed out paint booth, presentation (a story mode like the Nascar 05-06 games), A trophy case, (optional) Commentary from both N.B.C., and Fox Sports, Pre race ceremony activities. I can go on. Also, the swap driver thing, do that. That looked fun.

Nascar ignition: am I late?
so a few things that need to be noted. The engine sound effects are taken straight from dirt to daytona. The pause glitch existed in the Heat Evolution, Heat 2, and Heat 3. As for adaptive AI. I'm pretty sure the programmers weren't smart enough to implement that, but I can't really tell because even on 105 difficulty it's still basically on easy mode. There is tire wear but it just takes a while to kick in. If you play races where have to pit for fuel you'll notice that it's very difficult to keep the car from wrecking because the tires are destroyed.

Should've just titled it HEAT Evolution Compilation
Doing a championship season on this game and so far I’m at Dover. Take aways:
- AI can’t leave you any space and never realizes you’re even there
- The AIs are way too easy to beat
- Braking feels like I’m on a skating rink
- And upshifts from 1st gear to 2nd gear make my life span shorten because of how bad the car steers
- Ping Ponging and Apron Glitching exist
Positives:
- Easy AI
- I feel a little bit of tire wear throughout the race however it’s easy to manage
- Superspeedways and maybe a few intermediates (Kansas in particular) are the safe havens
Good or bad
-Cars feel lighter on entry (besides superspeedways)
Watch for another rebranding towards Motorsport Games, but I expect continued progression towards a competent console game!
This game was awful. I’ve played a lot of NASCAR games and this one by far was the worst one I’ve ever played. The driving was terrible, the physics were horrendous, the graphics were horrendous. There were no redeeming quality’s to this game. I played it for a month and then traded it in. It sucked so bad. Glad to see 704 has improved from this dumpster fire of a game.

Why not iRacing? Because I don't want my spending on one single sim to exceed my spending on all other sims I own and ever will for a fraction of the content and similar quality. Also I don't like toxic online communities and iRacing's is going competitive on that front, almost cultish sometimes.

Still to this day, nr2003 is NASCAR racing God-mode. Only thing I've seen that looks better is iRacing, and more than 50% of Papy's code was used as the baseline. God I wish I would have seen what nr2004 would have looked like.
Thanks EA. You killed the best NASCAR sim ever made, and you refused to give us Skate 4. Dicks.

@@JReaLBiz86 NR2003 really shouldn't be considered as the best NASCAR game by mods alone since they are fan made. The physics, driving style, and gameplay are all good reasons to call it one of the greats. NR4 and NR2002 are also great games and are decent substitutes or an over expensive and overrated game. Problem is NR4 doesn't work that well on newer PCs
@@HiyoriAroused I've only very rarely played nr2003 with mods, and usually they were just vehicle models, no track packs or altered physics/AI. Most of my experience with the game, and all of papy's games, was vanilla. And I still believe that it's the best stock car sim ever made. This is now 18 years later, so yeah there are better racing sims out there, by far. And I didn't dislike EA's Thunder series, I just didn't think they were nearly as good as nr4, 2002, or2003.

Would be nice if you put a link to the channels you got the clips from. I'm all for cutting up NASCAR content and letting it speak for itself, but when it's just a montage of other reviewers with an intro and an outro, the least you could do is give them a link.

When you take clips from NASCAR, who are you taking views from? NASCAR, really. We all know who they are.
When you're taking reviews, or first impressions from other content creators and not linking to those videos (which it looks like he is, the description has been updated), you're kinda leaving them out in the cold. The clips used in the video might push someone to check out their channels or videos, but without links people are lazy and may not do that. Nor, other than drivethrough, do I know where any of the footage came from since it's not labeled.
Idk I'm not against repurposing other content but when 90% of the video is spliced reviews and the only credit (at the time of my comment) was a name buried in the description that leaves a poor taste in my mouth.
This game makes both NASCAR 14' and 15' looks like more advanced.

It was so difficult to drive in the game when driving to career mode. Once you hit to Atlanta it gives you the option to change your settings, only to be confused by the difficult to understand settings. The car was very tight and difficult to steer in which I had no choice but to sell the video game on Ebay. This game was an utter disappointment

Y'all just can't learn it right the moment I picked it up I had a blast. Only track I hate is Tiburon that track is so shitty I'm surprised that it's even possible to get a first place in. But hey this is also coming from a fifteen year old playing it on a PS2. I've also gotten over twenty-five wins because of Whelens and trucks.

I'd have to go with NASCAR 08, you could turn over way too easily. I could do 20 laps at Bristol, turn over twice without trying and still come from 43rd to win.

As soon as you said Dirt to Daytona I got chills, that's the game that started it all. Idk how old I was but I played that game non stop. I honestly think that game got me so interested in cars and racing. I'm gonna see if I can find a copy.

I'm currently running through NASCAR heat 4, it's the first NASCAR game I've played, but I like it a lot. The replays suck and sometimes it will end my practice runs for no reason, but I can live with that, the biggest issue I've had is twice it's frozen while loading to a new event and erases 1 to 2 races previous to that event, which means I have to run them again. Really sucks since I run long races and almost realistic settings.
As someone who played Dirt to Daytona recently I can promise you I just heard multiple sound effects FROM DIRT TO DAYTONA.
In heat evolution-3 if you go to Talledega (at least for me) no matter how bad you are, for example, if you have a 51 second lap time, you’ll get the pole, and in 12 laps, you’ll have a 10 second lead.
What makes me laugh on these videos, is the fact that no one mentions they are still using the exact same sound effects they used back in the old Heat games. I played the shit out of Dirt to Daytona and the tire squeal (plays on a loop), engine starting/turning over, and even some of the engine noises are the exact same they ripped from the old games.
It just shows you how the heat series has improved since then

the biggest thing they need to add to Nascar games, is the commentary. thats what makes nascar so entertaining to watch not just the racing but the commentary from the guys in the booth to go with it. i have had, dirt to daytona, Nascar Thunder 2003, EA Nascar 2008, and Nascar 2011. you only get the commentary in the beginning, have it going on throughout the race. because honestly, with just the spotter, and the drone of the engines, it just gets boring.
Being a Canadian, the only thing I can say is good about heat evolution, is that they have pintys series drivers
I remember the most annoying thing was no matter how I set up my brakes at Daytona, I would always spin out going to pit road.
I remember when we hated the Eutechnyx series of games. Then this game came out, and we all wanted Eutechnyx back.

Side note for the guy playing and yelling at the spotter, you aren't clear just because you're to the outside of someone. Clear means you can move cleanly in front of the car you are passing.

Nascar '11 was a hilarious mess. A bug in the game's first couple weeks meant the spotter never stopped talking. 500 miles of "You're clear... Clear all around... You're clear bud... All clear..."
