So just some instant clarification, Dedede and Meta Knight did not want to murder Kirby in Fighters 2. They simply sent a letter for Kirby and a buddy of his choosing to have a 2 v 2 duel to test their might. Despite Dedede and Meta Knight being treated as villains, most of the time they’re actually actively protecting the planet and universe.
Olimar also actually helped the Pikmin population thrive as they were on the brink of extinction before his arrival. In return for their service in carrying objects, Olimar helped fight their predators and taught them how to defend them selves and multiply, saving the species and allowing them to thrive after he left.

Bowser never attempted genocide; in fact, he's the kind of villain who will outright state that that's going too far (example: Origami King).

I definitely think Ridley should be number 1. Kind of glosses over just how truly evil he really is due to it being in logs and manga but its still canon. The dude ate Samus parents and then gloats about it. Would love to see you react to a Metroid Lore/Timeline video in the future.

I mean, Medusa betrayed Hades for fucking up the world, and she already hated the world with a passion, so you have to on another level of evil to make a person who wants to destroy the world, not want to destroy the world. Also I feel that Hades just has more power and overall evil potential then Ridley.
Agreed. At least Hades temporarily joined forces with Pit and the others to get rid of Aurum, even if it was obviously out of self-serving reasons. And Andross cares for his grandson Dash and one could argue that he fails the heinous standards to the Aparoid Queen. Ridley is worse than those two.
@@CalamityLegend I feel hades is still worst because ridley had a loyal and actually trustworthy crew, hades lost all his companions and even when people worked with him, they either questioned his motives, didn't want to or betrayed him.
He missed a LOT of Kirby villians like Nightmare Zero Marx Magolor ect. It just goes to show how powerful Kirby is and how many gods he has slayed

I‘m disappointed we didn’t get any Fire Emblem or Xenoblade villains in this list. Many of them would rank really high on this list

Oh definitely without a doubt. Grima from Fire Emblem Awakening should’ve definitely been high up there. Arvis would be on there too even if he had noble intentions. He’s a lot like Edelgard.

I’m wondering where the hell Ghetsis was, dude literally attempts child murder twice, once by trying to freeze Nate/Rosa to death with Kyurem, the other being trying to punch Lillie with his own left hand.
He also wants to liberate Pokemon from all their trainers, and uses his cane to mind control Kyurem.
The one with Meta knight and King Dedede being villainous in Kirby fighters 2 is incorrect. They literally send Kirby a letter so they can Settle there rivalry in a fair 2v2. That’s not really murder, that’s just competition.

Patterz, Olimar saved the Pikmin. In the first game they were nearly extinct due to too many predators, but thanks to Olimar’s leadership they’re now Earth’s new dominant species. Oh yeah, should probably mention that the Pikmin games take place on Earth 250million years in the future long after humanity has gone extinct.
So the thing about Andross is that he used to be normal scientist who went insane and experimented on himself to become the giant floating head
In the recent Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Bowser actually teams up with the Mario crew (across multiple galaxies, BTW) to save not just his army, but the world.
As another note, the (upcoming) Mario movie is a retelling of SMB1, which was sort of an origin story for Mario’s first Mushroom Kingdom adventure. As of then, Bowser is definitely evil, but that doesn’t represent the version of him in the games that stopped trying to kidnap Peach.

Well TECHNICALLY, there's evidence to support DJ Octavio not actually brainwashing anyone outside of Callie. For example, Marina still has a DJ Octavio sticker on her laptop during the Octo Expansion, showing she still has at least some respect for him and his music. There's also art of an Octoling with her goggles off, and she's just mildly annoyed, so those don't really control them. As for the glasses in Splatoon 2, the ones the Octolings wear are different to the hypnoshades Callie wears. His music being used to control the Octarians is kinda debatable, but we know music DOES hold a lot of power in this world, though it would seem that a lot of Octarians follow Octavio simply because they respect him.
Also technically, the underground series of tunnels is where humanity once lived and where sea life flourished, eventually making their way to the surface due to absorbing humanities desires to return to the surface world, so TECHNICALLY it isn't a bad thing that the Octarians live underground, it's really just the power crisis that's an issue.
Since the video goes into redemption arcs too, DJ Octavio put aside his differences with Cap'n Cuttlefish and helped to save the entire world, so, going from petty theft and at least one case of mind control to saving the world, I don't think he's as bad as people make him out to be.
Also weird how NONE of the Xenoblade villains got on this list. I mean come on, we have Bowser and Meta Knight, hell, even Ridley and Ganondorf, but not Metal Face, Amalthus, or Z? I mean we have plenty to choose from, straight up murder, attempted genocide, actual genocide, repeated genocide, I mean come on, that sounds a lot worse to me than "oh yeah, this guy like, kidnapped one person." I mean for as massive of a Splatoon fan as I am, I'd take ANY Xenoblade villain over Octavio, who as I mentioned, isn't really that bad of a guy.

I was hoping that Black Shadow from F-Zero was going to be on the list, but I guess it makes sense that he wasn’t since F-Zero isn’t very mainstream.
Just going to point out that when he started his war to stop people from being lazy, Kirby unintentionally murdered everyone in the airship when it crash landed. Meta Knight himself confirms this right before they went down.
They are just testing Kirby in Kirby Fighters 2. They weren’t trying to KILL Kirby.
Yeah, by now dedede and meta knight have been through a lot with Kirby, they’re like like best friends, they’re also a where of how powerful Kirby can be. So when ever they do fight Kirby now it’s usually just for glory and competition, since now to them beating Kirby in a fair fight would be like their ultimate life long goal.
Come to think of it, Wario’s just Mr. Krabs, but more selfish.
All things considered, bowser is really not that bad of a villain. He has certainly done a bunch of bad things, but he is leagues better than pretty much all the villains above him in that list (with the exception of maybe King K. Rool).

Dedede and Meta Knight actually deserve to be at the bottom, Dedede, and Meta weren’t trying to kill Kirby, they were trying to beat him in a fight, and Dedede would always help out Kirby and co. He is really not evil, neither is Meta, they’ve only done a couple of things

Ashnard the Mad King from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance intentionally escalates a war in order to forcefully awaken the dark god so he can purge the weak and create his ideal world purely ruled by might. Unlike Senator Armstrong, a villain with similar motives, even him declaring this shows how immoral he is by revealing it to someone he *doesn't* consider worthy of his world and shrugs off the fact that the listener is therefore not sold on the idea. Ashnard also killed his own relatives, abandoned his capital as a way to escalate the war and is so pure evil that this game's version of the fire emblem, a medallion that contains the dark god, causing the wielders to go insane, only warps his body and not his mind.

Did you listen to my suggestion, or just have the same idea? And Olimar didn't just land on P-18 whatever the heck it's called. He crashed and needed to fix his ship. I Googled. It's called PNF-404. Bowser wanted to rule the Galaxy, not Genocide it. However he did accidentally Genocide a Galaxy.

Dude you slander Ganondorf too much. While sometimes he is a boring villain, we do find out about his motivations in Wind Waker. Being the king of a desert isn't a nice thing,with death coming easily to all. Then he looked at the prosperity of Hyrule which ignited hatred and jealousy. He decided to conquer the kingdom to give his people a better life. Yet in his quest for more power he lost sight of his original goal and gained power for its own sake after awhile, devolving into insanity. This makes Ganon a tragic figure of the road to hell being paved with good intentions.

2. He tricked an almighty alien with psychic abilities for his own gain.
3. He went to the future to fuck up the peaceful Nowhere Islands because with the Nowhere Islands under control he could freely go around pulling the NEedles of the Dragon said to destroy the world and remake it. Again all for his gain.
4. He did horrific chimera experiments and conducted his army the Pig Masks into fusing biological animals with mechanical tech and horribly ruined the ecosystem of said island.
5. He's the reason Lucas' Mom died along with Claus being brainwashed
Need I say more? Like yes Ridley is probably more evil and sadistic, but the fact Porky isn't on this list at all baffles me when Giygas basically was made his tool in Earthbound after Mother 1's situation.
