Can you come to san pablo street, crime is getting worse, no one helps the good people who cant even walk outside, the young ones are braisin and they think everything is theres to take and destroy!!
I pay half of my income in taxes and somehow that's not enough money for the police to stop people from camping in front of my house. There was a huge campfire that got out of control and threatened homes in the neighborhood. But that's not enough to make these people leave. I don't understand why people keep voting for the city to stay in this condition Voted Republican for the first time this year, praying for our president to bring sanity to this country
You had the chance to pin him down on Albuquerque being a Sanctuary City but didn't. Federal funding for Sanctuary Cities will stop, so where will the money come from Mr Mayor?
I grew up in ABQ/RR in the 80's, and guns were prevalent back then, as well; therefore, guns -- in and of themselves -- are not the problem. The difference today is that kids are quickly resorting to using those weapons, instead of their fists. Aside from why this is happening (a deep nuanced conversation on society, judicial system, parenting, etc., etc.), there must be severe consequences for criminal behavior -- at any age. That leads to the next problem: Bernalillo County judges' unwillingness to incarcerate these violent offenders (both minors and adults) with sure and swift punishment. The revolving door of recidivist criminals is repulsive. I know law enforcement officers who tell me that they are arresting the very same violent criminals day after day, week after week. These violent offenders are committing crime with impunity because of the lack of consequences. Lastly, an AR15 is not an automatic weapon, Mayor.
He needs to step down. Worst mayor in history.

Cant wait for voting day 2025
Why? Albuquerque will reelect him with resounding success. Because like the rest of the state they are absolute fools.
