Water can dehydrate too. It is acidic and lacks minerals nowadays. Unless you have money to buy water such as Evian water. Take it as Barbara mentioned with celtic salt.

Dear Dr.Barbara I have been advising many people to drink water, I have discovered your Chanel few months ago.
What I love and appreciate is that you are honest, straight forward to the point, I my self inherited the home remedies methods from my. Grand mother who passed her grand mothers knowledge to my god bless Mums Soul who passed away four years ago, at the age 89, she w as so dedicated to advice her family members and neighbors on how to stay healthy without needing to accumulate hundreds of medicines, that jus cure one part and hurt other parts.
One day my book will come out and I will be happy to mention you if that is ok with you. But I have been sharing your knowledge with my friends and many people around me. God Bless you and many Like your self. I am Aroma therapist.
    My name is Maha,.❤❤❤❤❤

I've always been told you drink 1 half of your body weight in ounces. So 180 pound person would drink 90 ounces a day. From the book "you're not sick, you're thirsty".

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all rule for everyone. People hydrate through various sources, including vegetables, fruits 🍉, and soups. Adding 8 more glasses of water on top of this can lead to excessive intake! Drink when you are thirsty.

Depends if you sweat. When I do out door work I have drunk upto 6 lts of water. Even then urination is less than normal qty. In rainy season it becomes around 2lts. There is no one size fits all. Your body will tell you, and you need to learn to listen.

  • @8minhealthtips

❌I disagree! Drinking 8 glasses of water a day is misleading!

If you drink when your body is telling you you are thirsty then you have started to become dehydrated. The trick is to stay hydrated and that is achieved by sipping water regularly throughout the day and not waiting to become thirsty.
In the video it acknowledges you can source some water from fruit and veg, but the amount it provides is nowhere near enough. It's a supplement and not a replacement for drinking water. It is very achievable to drink 8 glasses a day if you get yourself into a good routine.

See I love Barbara but tap water does not hydrate. Real spring water and fruit is the only good way. And sea salt is an electrolyte full of minerals but should be paired with real spring water or real fruit juices. Love her though for sure
