There is other important advice such as not sipping water or drinks all day.
You need to let your teeth bathe in your saliva between meals and water
because that helps heal your teeth and gums and keeps them healthy.

    I want to add and clarify some things;
Xylitol can't be digested and an over-consumption of xylitol can lead to bloating and even liver damage since it's primarily metabolized in the liver. So, if you already have an upset or sensitive stomach, be mindful when you consume xylitol. Don't consume it on an empty stomach, rather after a meal like the video mentions.
Secondly, Xylitol are commercially sold as a sweetener, commonly found in gums, mints and toothpaste. It's allegedly banned from soft drinks in EU. It's also naturally occurring in fruits, berries and vegetables but in very low amounts. With that being said, here is some clarification:
For instance, Strawberries🍓and Pineapple🍍are nutritious but Acidic so don't over-consume those to get "more" xylitol. Rather pour some xylitol powder on the strawberry and eat it, just like the video mentioned.
Ellie P. mentioned to eat some cheese🧀 for the teeth but failed to disclose it should be a good quality cheese. Not the ultra-processed garbage, that people commonly use in their burgers and toasts.
Food pairing like banana 🍌and dairy together means Plain yogurt, kefir or similar, not flavored! Because flavored often have alot of sugar, especially products with "Added sugar".
Video translation; Ellie P. in this video are essentially referring to fasting. Giving the body, the digestive system, the mouth time to heal and repair by not consuming over an extended period of time, which are synonymous with Fasting. She obviously added recommended foods to eat to promote dental and digestive health but the common denominator are Healing, from the inside.

For anyone who doesn’t know, a very small amount of xylitol can be fatal to dogs. Dogs will get into a purse as well and consume anything edible such as mints or gum. Even last night, my dog pulled a few digestive enzymes in a bag out of my purse and I almost never have it within her reach. Fortunately, they were safe. We don’t use xylitol at all at home for this reason.

About gut health. I had reflux and ibs for 35 plus years. I cured it and it is mind boggling to me at how it just went away.
This is what I did for my gut.
I started adding a small lean portion of ground beef almost daily. Beef has glutamine which works miracles for your gut. Without going further, I believe this is what helped me the most.
Second thing I did at the same time I bought a bottle of apple cider vinegar tablets and within 4 days of taking one a day, my reflux was gone but not all my ibs symptoms. I finished the whole bottle, and it has been well over a year and the reflux is only once a month and not even bad.
Third, I reduce junk food and sugar and simple carbs by 75 percent immediately overnight. Sugar kills the beneficial bacteria in the gut and feeds the bad bacteria.
Fourth I started eating a bowl of oatmeal 5 days a week.
Fifth, I added a daily power smoothie, with about 4 powerhouse fruits or veggies. I use 4 or 5 of the following, spinach, kale, wild blueberries, wild blackberries, celery, avocado, carrots, collard greens, banana. Sometimes I use a little bit of all of them. It is equal to about 4 servings of fruits and veggies is what goes into my smoothie.
I cannot say for sure what helped cure my gut. At first, I added the beef daily with the daily apple cider vinegar. Immediately my reflux vanished. After I ran out of the Apple cider vinegar capsules I was waiting for reflux to come back but it did not. I am thinking the glutamine in the beef helped more than anything. I read so much good about glutamine for the gut.
    I hope this helps someone.

I am only starting to learn about this, but I can answer a couple things based on what I’ve heard so far and read. (not just by her but also from others) I also use a natural toothpaste - I will not use the paste she recommends, but re brushing right after meals, I’ve learned that it’s best to wait a while, as your teeth are at their most acidic and therefore weaker right after a meal, and toothbrushing can be damaging. And then re xylitol crystals, you can absolutely use that instead of the mints or gum after meals and drinking. I’ve read 1/4 teaspoon. Just let the crystals dissolve in your mouth, swish it around for a few minutes and then spit out - with no rinsing afterwards, and don’t eat or drink anything for at least an hour.

I didn't think about other minerals in saliva.
