@Brett Barnes the torque is there. handling is good. only thing is turbo lag, think probably 0.5-1sec before the power kicks in. do you feel the same?

@@valentinoviiI have 118d and to be fair if your in good revs the car goes there’s no lag what so ever. I have twin turbo engine also …
CarPlay became available on the 66 plate’s with the right spec. I got lucky with my 240i only requiring a £30 eBay software update to enable full screen wireless CarPlay. Thought it would be worth mentioning as a lot of people may already have the ability but not the software. Great video 👍🏼

Correct. Id6 and Id7 can be activated by software. Anyone is free to get in touch with us to discuss products. We also offer coding carplay if the car supports it 😊

Hi. Hope you're still online... how did you confirm the iDrive version (NBT or NBT-EVO) of your BMW for the retrofit?
Very informative but just wondering when you disconnect the battery, do you need to key in a code to get the radio to work again - or is that only in older cars?
So aux to have the sound using CarPlay even if you plug in to usb? Also can you use the regular usb connection that is already in the armrest? And can you still hear radio as before?

Hi I have the same head unit however I played around with a few settings and decided to reset back to factory settings. Now my android head unit automatically switched to android recovery mode every time, it’s the only thing I can see.
It gives me the option to factory reset however when I touch the screen it doesn’t respond at all. There are also no buttons for me to configure. Would you by any chance know how to resolve the issue???!

Newest software can do it. We suggest to mount them in the empty space in between center console and glovebox :). For any questions, feel free to reach out!

It is about where you get your product from, the are massively different in software, support, warranty and quality check. We make sure you get an MMI which doesn't break your OEM and will last, if it does stop working we will fix it with our in house warranty or just replace it. Have a problem with the software? We'll let a software developer try to fix it. So yes, there is a difference. Buying from China is gambling, going to the casino will bring you more joy, trust me :)

@@MrPaulcon93 It taps in to the AUX cables directly in the back of the head unit. You won't notice any sound difference. The sound can even be setup to sound more crisp due to the built in EQ :)
