Hello, I'd like to know where these values come from, for your Young's modulus and plastic values ?
Like, you input 29911000 for E. But usually it's either in MPa or Pa, being 210e3 or 210e9. What's that 29e6 ...? And those yield stresses : usually it starts at about 200 MPa. What's that 59822 thing...?
    Thanks for answering ! :)

Also, I tried doing what you did on a 3D analysis(a 3D model) and I get an error when submitting the job. It says the time needed for the next increment is too small. (1e-35)
What can I do ..? Actually I never managed to do a static general step. I usually always go with linear perturbation. But now since it's plasticity I can't...
      Can you help please ?

The value is very close to the theoretical general value of 30e6 Psi and it comes from actual experimental data, hence the slight deviation from theoretical value !

The values come from experimental data, with the unit of PSI (Youn's modulus is very close to the established value of 30x10^6 Psi !

what will be the yield stress and plastic strain values in case of "Ti6Al4V" material instead of steel?

Hello, Thank you for the video.
I'm trying to model a material that yields at different values in compression and tension !!
Is it possible to define two yield stresses one for compression and the other for tension ?
    Thank you !

the tension is the ultimate strength

hey! did you figure out how to do it? I need to do that too. i have full curves for tension and compression. thanks!

Sir, won't the time period for plastic analysis should be 2 in step module as the amplitude is from 0-2?
