I dont mind him making him strong by bias, but if he's overwelming in busted stuff, i do have a problem. Chars should be developed to compete, not only win

I think he was solid, but you did have to have mastery over all his tools to be good. The s4 patch made him very good. And now, after nerfing everyone else, he’s top tier.
Steve Jin and feng are all neutral monsters. Incredibly versatile. They will almost always be good. The problem is that feng rn is kinda broken. Also he's wayyyy easier than Jin and Steve.
Did they buff him up or was it becoz no one really spend the time to get to know him more? Those few move that ppl are complaining about aren't new or buff in the 4.0 or 5.0 also?
@@CYLok he was buffed, most characters where. in s3 he was a very solid character, but the dlc characters were just mad broken. then the dlc got nerfed and he got some very happy buffs in s4, then he became a monster
The thing is, feng's broken state was kinda balanced by 7-8 other characters being literally as broken. Now there's only Akuma and he's too hard. And you have zafina with her movement and her kit but feng is just better than her. You get the Evasion, safe mid launcher, 50/50, punishment AND the perfect frames with feng but with Zafina you only get the evasion and movement.

I find it absurd that most of the "problems" included in this video are things Feng has always had but now that ONE player (who just happens to historically be one of the greatest Tekken players of all time) wins ONE tournament with the character, everyone starts complaining about how broken Feng is. It's also a slap in Knee's face to say that "Feng won EVO" when the player had just as much, if not more, to do with the victory.
I know right. Feng has been well played by top tier players like Knee since his first tournament match. But we never heard them complain until now. BTW I am a Feng main since day 1. I don't care if he is broken or not, he is always fun to use and unique in style.

I couldn't disagree more. They only gave him a few buffs last patch. Most of the complaints in this video were things Feng already had when people didn't think he was that good of a character.
That's when the complaining started. Last patch. He is way too powerful. Been saying it for over a year. Everyone was simply too busy with DLC characters for the last two. But Jin, D Jin and Feng have been OP for a while now. All eyes were on Faku, Leroy, Lidia and Kuntnimitsu.
Feng main here. Gonna dump some important things to note here that were omitted: - Kenpo is obviously crazy good, but it is really not risk free as main man implies. Yes, it is basically impossible to whiff punish it. But the main followup feng uses there is a high because the mid followup to kenpo is unsafe and the low is pretty slow. That means when I see my opponent moving forward while I am doing kenpo, I know that I have to risk getting ducked and launched if I go for the high, I know that I'm unsafe if I go for the mid, and I know that I will likely get counterhit out of my low. So the way I and most fengs use kenpo is to get the whiff punish if we see a button, and press nothing if we don't see a button. So the way to make feng regret spamming kenpo is just steady safe forward movement. I have definitely lost neutral because I did a kenpo when my opponent was moving forward so I had to press nothing and hold frame advantage from the opponent as I'm recoiling from kenpo. Another important note is that kenpo was nerfed a couple of seasons ago so while he can block during it, he can only do so after a few frames of startup so its not like you cant hit him out of it at all. - d2 is even better on ch than shown here. The guaranteed stomp is one thing, but if you have the hands for it, you can go for ch d2 sidestep cancel d4, b1+2. Since he can get b1+2 there, it means he can also combo into and out of rage drive from that situation if he is near the wall. - ch d/b3 does not actually give as much pressure as it looks. It leaves feng in backturn, but he doesn't even get a backturn mix cuz he is so far away. So to get pressure, he has to cancel out of backturn and go in so the oki isn't as good as it looks or as good as mainmain says here. - qcf1 is not as good as it seems here. Yea it can't be parried and is not launch punishable by most of the cast, but it is so slow and comital that you tend to just use d2 and db3 as low pokes instead if you are trying to play optimally. If you don't believe me, watch evo top 8. I don't know if Knee did this move once. - You didnt mention d/f 2,2. This is a safe, mid, 2 hit wallbounce string that is a punch parry bait on block. This move is wild and one of if not the best wallbounce in the game imo.
Ch db3 shouldn't be a thing in the first place. Should just be a low poke. It crushes highs. Shouldn't even be a knockdown much less get so much damage or anything. Shouldn't be different to Bryan's db3. Move is broken.
@@jinpachichulo7561 Meh. feng's strong lows are one of the reasons to play him. That move is launch punishable by some depending on range, and at -14 it's not free if he doesn't space it. It was a good change and a cool animation. Maybe just tone the damage down a bit.
keep in mind to play his "overpowered" strenghts to the fullest you must have a big big brain like knee. tmm makes it sound like everyone can pick him up rn and go wreck ladder which is not the case. he takes some work.
New screw attack ( and punish he didn't have), new combo ender in open that also serves as wall carry, CH on low that didn't exist. These are all things he didn't have on release.
Yuu didn't do shit with feng @ EVO, even though he is a lifetime veteran with the character. Neither do we see any good tournament results, except for Knee and he is an exception. Feng is extremely poke heavy and lacks any significant launch spam which has been the boring meta in T7 for ages. You either have god level defense or the result of your incessant poking will be blown away when you inevitiably get clipped with a launcher. Only Knee had a good enough defense to make it work.
True, his damage wasn’t so good until season 4. Rather then that, he was always pretty decent. When he gotten that easy wall splat and easy carry combo to the wall. His damage had gotten to good.
His aerial damage wasn't great, but his mini combos and wall combos were above average, especially when you consider how good he was at stealing turns(which got buffed in season 3, lol)

As others have pointed out, this is testament to how unexplored this game really is. Why has it taken until now for feng to fall into the spotlight? It also took Akuma a long time, despite being broken since FR. Really makes you wonder what other characters could be hiding behind the woodwork

For Me it looks like They're mad because Namco took away free and cheap damage with easy parries so now They have to put some actual effort to play Tekken now. FGC is so hilarious. I started playing T7 in season 2 and was maining Feng. He always felt super good, and often carried me in ranked with his awesome evasiveness, lows and punishment. I was saying hes kinda OP and doesn't need any buff, but he got them, so here we are... No one ever recognized him as a strong character, but now everyone talks about Feng and meta slaves instantly hop on playing him 😅

I always thought that getting in with a long ass unparriable low, doing a bunch of safe poking and then disappearing to Narnia while also being able to just react to any animation with a safe evasion tool was infuriating, but I blamed it on me not being good at the game. If you watch knee play Feng he barely even uses db3 because he hates launch punishable lows and he still dominates. The character was always strong as hell and 5 or 6 extra dmg on his combos barely means anything, it's mostly the added flexibility that helps him.
You cant utilize Feng like you could with Leroy. Knee makes him look absurdly good because of his fundamentals and game knowledge. Videos like this just make it seem like Knee got carried by the character and when a hivemind all start agreeing in situations like this, it becomes toxic to the game where we can just get characters nerfed when no one wanted to play him before in tournament despite knowing the character is good?

Yup, that's how it always happens. Also, I've been playing Feng since Tekken 5 vanilla (5.0) and I've seen all the years when Feng fell short in tournaments and people saying that he doesn't have what it takes to win a tournament. Fast forward to EVO 2022, Knee wins EVO with Feng and now "Feng needs to be nerfed" is all us Feng mains hear now. Nothing has really changed with Feng over the years. People were just writing him off.
Don's right. The reason a lot of people didn't realize it is because they were distracted by Fahk and DJ. Not only did Knee prove it with him, but as TMM stated all the similar sized fish were shrunk down.

Your argument that everyone can win against a character X, Y or Z doesn't highlight your statement or prove anything. It's like saying that everyone can win a battle against cancer, even though the mortality is very high. Characters should have weaknesses, that's just a fact.
If Knee had won Evo 2022 using Marduk, I'm sure the nerf videos like this one would still be made. You had Feng several months ago not on the top tier and now everything changed because a pro player won with him. We've seen this knee-jerk reaction (no pun) with JDCR's Dragunov, Qudan's Devin Jin, Knee's Paul and Steve and Arlsan 's Kazumi and the rest of the Pakistani's on 2D characters. All it takes is a good player fundamentally to showcase how strong they are because even character specialist like Yuu isn't winning even with his Feng. Nerfing the big 5 prior to this patch led Feng straight to the highest tier with Akuma and Zafina. Best to buff everyone else to their level rather than nerfing him.
Most of the things mentioned were already there from s1 except the screw move that was from s3 so its just that people learned those after 5 years. And for the wall combo, i have been using f4,3 the b1+2 since s1 where the enemy flips on the ground, much similar to what Knee does but higher damage. It was really there from the start.

As someone who picked Feng up in S2, I can definitely say that he is a strong character, but saying he is the best caharcter next to Akuma is a massive overstatment; Jin, Marduk, Paul, and Zafina are still better imo. This video also doesn't adress Feng's weaknesses like his poor ws punishment and lack of approach tools, his ws1 being is best after snake dashing but it is steppable to the left (his weak side). His 50/50s are also only applicable in close range, ideally near a wall, which will be a little hard since he doesn't have a good wr move, electric, or jackhammer to do that (Feng's demon paw doesn't have Jin/DVJ pushback btw) so you'll have a hard time opening up a good turtle. Where Feng truly shines is with his defense which complements his fast pokes, taking a lifelead before turtling up his good keepouts and evasion to force whiffs and punish, which requires good fundamentals and not as braindead as you think, unlike Leroy, Fahk, and Julia who have good offensive tools. I agree that he needs nerfs and I'm happy that he received the first of a couple more nerfs, but calling him broken when Jin, Paul, and Marduk were basically untouched is insane. This is just a case of people just now realizing Feng's potential and are now using him more since everyone has been sleeping on him for years, especially since most of the moves covered in this video have been virtually the same since 1.0 except for maybe kenpo which got nerfed (in S2 ircc). Everyone's acting like Knee just now started using Feng when he literally used him years ago against JDCR, and speaking of JDCR, he's been playing Feng in his streams for a while now along with Miguel and Negan for fun. Again, I agree that he needs some nerfs but y'all are overreacting, and having an emergency patch solely dedicated to Feng is just dumb. He is not as big of a problem or as complete of a character as some people make him out to be.

Feng has been the same character for YEARS He get a new screw attack and a buff to db3 LAST patch. Suddenly the top tier characters get nerfed, Feng gets his time in the spotlight and it's O.M.G NERF THIS CHARACTER. The hell are you talking about? We've been complaining about Feng Wei for years. Mainman has multiple videos complaining about from at least a year ago. Jin needs nerfs too. It’s basically the Akuma situation all over again. people thought Akuma was garbage for a long time, and then someone actually showed that the character is broken and peoples perceptions changed. Unfortunately, it’s even worse this time because the broken character does not require an immense amount of skill to be broken, meaning every sweaty loser and their grandma is going to be maining feng and trying to convince themselves that their not being carried.

I personally think Knee had just ascended to godhood at evo. He was almost untouchable and made feng look much more insane than he might be, mainly because feng has had a lot of this stuff since release. I know some people will make the comparison to akuma but its not the same. He has obviously does need some tuning though.
He also played a very minimalistic style of play with Feng. So many times I was wondering if he'd use any other moves or strategies but he kept it simple.

feng has always had these tools tho, uf2, kenpo, backswing ch launcher, sidestep unseeable low, best lows that track and are very safe problem is some of those same moves got extra properties, chdb3 is horrendus, his new screw also gives him wallcarry like the rest of the cast and his combos in t7 improved a lot which was his weakness in t6
This is exactly what someone who knows nothing about Tekken says. The balance of the iron fist is directly related to psychological warfare. No matter how much you have a skill with fraudulent ability, you can recognize it and conversely induce the skill to lose it or gain a psychological advantage. Knee won the final by fighting a character who could have 90 damage in 10 frames with just one power gauge. According to this person, it would have been hard to win because the character with the technological superiority was absolutely superior, but why did the winner choose a worse character without a 10-frame combo starter and how did he win?
TMM 10-0 you Perfect Geese atleast needed meter, feng has so much evasive bullcrap and can block after Kenpo wtf. He is like Paul tbh. Evasive + alot of damage. Feng was always a cheap character

He did not make this video because he got inspired by knee, but rather he's showing the reason knee uses Feng because of said frames and moves. Most of Feng's moves are barely punishable, it's low risk high reward which kinda makes him a little broken. TMM explained this well so I don't see the problem

Stop crying. He’s been the same outside of CH db 3 and combo damage. No one ever noticed til some “big names” started playing him. df 3,4 has helped with his mid range poke. I can honestly the punch parry to full combo (not the move/framing) and uf 2 ch follow up is op and I have no problem having them removed. But the rest isn’t that bad in terms of range since db 3 is launch punishable. Feng is one the most aesthetically well created tekken characters ever and the synergy in his move list should be applauded and seen as fine example.
Feng has always been good and was only rated lower by popular players because of their own playstyles and experience. Most characters in the right hands will always be S tier. I would say Raven has also one of the best setups since tekken 7 release but just got overshadowed by so much character releases. I would even think she is better than Feng in this current sandbox.

Yep, he just complains about the top characters a bit too much. Namco is extreme in buffing but he’s completely at the other side of extreme nerf. He sounds like he wants all fengs strengths to be removed lol. He complained about devils jins wall combo which was fair enough but now it’s completely nerfed to the other extreme(from 26 damage to 10damage).

d2 the problem noone talks about is, why this move is a low at all. Many characters have a move that goes from above the shoulders down and they are all mids.
Mainman conveniently misexplains Kenpo. "He can block during it." Don't get me wrong, kenpo is hella good, but he can only block after the 19th frame not at any point.
I've never had an issue with this character,although he's definitely top 5 it's not that hard to deal with him.Akouma is the real problem,I don't care about the execution,free d3 into a combo and Devil jin's hellsweep are busted moves.

In 2005 I started playing T4 and T5. I found Feng and used him to beat Mishimas at the time because everyone played them. They were strong for YEARS for no other reason than they were the title characters. Now Feng is good for 2 seasons but the Mishimas stayed on top for how long? F**k that nonsense. It's Feng wei's time. Tekken is about him now. Canonically it makes sense that a guy who trains so hard and runs through dojos to be the strongest fighter finally gets his day in 2022. Forget akuma and get him the hell outta this game, Feng wei ain't scared of him. Its about time. Press the nerfs and those who have always been Feng mains will go back to winning whatever matches we did with integrity. Wins weren't guaranteed by Feng, you just had to use his tools.
Feng's db1+2 into shoulder is only guaranteed on certain 'big' characters like King and Geese. Otherwise it's a 50/50 mixup between stomp/shoulder, the latter of which you can avoid by staying on the ground and not moving.
Still think it needs to go. Because it is unneccesary. Speaking as a Feng Main x) Because even if you avoid the shoulder by laying grounded you STILL have to deal with oki even if shoulder needs its time to recover. It just doesn't feel good to have the option to either eat 26 damage or land in an Oki situation at the wall where Feng dominates you anyway. With the normal Wallcombo ender at least you can quickroll out of the wall which should be normally the case after eating 90+ damage.
ch db3 doesnt lead to any pressure btw..opponent's wake up low kick d3 beats everything. Safest thing to do as Feng is BT d4 wich pretty much leads to nothing in 90% of the cases. All the other things you mentioned were there since forever, kinda hilarious we have to thank Knee for letting the world know.. If they dont fix anything (and I honestly hope they dont) at least we'll see a TWT with some real tekken, instead of that bs 2d meta ;)

As a feng main i agree with a good amount of these changes to feng ,like making d+2 -13 on block , making db+3 do 6 less damage on CH, Removing the broken wall combo when you spike the opponent (or making it do 15-17 damage) and removing some of built-in block frames from Kenpo step, but not the rest.
These things were there from the start. People will always complain about top tier which will always be present. You need a character and another character will emerge so you nerd character etc till the entire cast is trash and game becomes boring.
I think loyalists for Feng were emerging like Caiper that made him good to all since Feng Patches were not much about the issues mentioned. And he is not just a normal loyalists, he knows it too well too, just by watching youll learn wacky stuff. There are still much more stuff to discover from the game in this stage.

Steve Jin and feng are all neutral monsters. Incredibly versatile. They will almost always be good. The problem is that feng rn is kinda broken. Also he's wayyyy easier than Jin and Steve.

And you have zafina with her movement and her kit but feng is just better than her. You get the Evasion, safe mid launcher, 50/50, punishment AND the perfect frames with feng but with Zafina you only get the evasion and movement.

I find it absurd that most of the "problems" included in this video are things Feng has always had but now that ONE player (who just happens to historically be one of the greatest Tekken players of all time) wins ONE tournament with the character, everyone starts complaining about how broken Feng is. It's also a slap in Knee's face to say that "Feng won EVO" when the player had just as much, if not more, to do with the victory.

Feng main here. Gonna dump some important things to note here that were omitted:
- Kenpo is obviously crazy good, but it is really not risk free as main man implies. Yes, it is basically impossible to whiff punish it. But the main followup feng uses there is a high because the mid followup to kenpo is unsafe and the low is pretty slow. That means when I see my opponent moving forward while I am doing kenpo, I know that I have to risk getting ducked and launched if I go for the high, I know that I'm unsafe if I go for the mid, and I know that I will likely get counterhit out of my low. So the way I and most fengs use kenpo is to get the whiff punish if we see a button, and press nothing if we don't see a button. So the way to make feng regret spamming kenpo is just steady safe forward movement. I have definitely lost neutral because I did a kenpo when my opponent was moving forward so I had to press nothing and hold frame advantage from the opponent as I'm recoiling from kenpo. Another important note is that kenpo was nerfed a couple of seasons ago so while he can block during it, he can only do so after a few frames of startup so its not like you cant hit him out of it at all.
- d2 is even better on ch than shown here. The guaranteed stomp is one thing, but if you have the hands for it, you can go for ch d2 sidestep cancel d4, b1+2. Since he can get b1+2 there, it means he can also combo into and out of rage drive from that situation if he is near the wall.
- ch d/b3 does not actually give as much pressure as it looks. It leaves feng in backturn, but he doesn't even get a backturn mix cuz he is so far away. So to get pressure, he has to cancel out of backturn and go in so the oki isn't as good as it looks or as good as mainmain says here.
- qcf1 is not as good as it seems here. Yea it can't be parried and is not launch punishable by most of the cast, but it is so slow and comital that you tend to just use d2 and db3 as low pokes instead if you are trying to play optimally. If you don't believe me, watch evo top 8. I don't know if Knee did this move once.
- You didnt mention d/f 2,2. This is a safe, mid, 2 hit wallbounce string that is a punch parry bait on block. This move is wild and one of if not the best wallbounce in the game imo.
We Feng mains have always seen the flaws, but others just like to roll around in salt...

Ch db3 shouldn't be a thing in the first place. Should just be a low poke. It crushes highs. Shouldn't even be a knockdown much less get so much damage or anything. Shouldn't be different to Bryan's db3. Move is broken.

Yuu didn't do shit with feng @ EVO, even though he is a lifetime veteran with the character. Neither do we see any good tournament results, except for Knee and he is an exception. Feng is extremely poke heavy and lacks any significant launch spam which has been the boring meta in T7 for ages. You either have god level defense or the result of your incessant poking will be blown away when you inevitiably get clipped with a launcher. Only Knee had a good enough defense to make it work.

True, his damage wasn’t so good until season 4. Rather then that, he was always pretty decent. When he gotten that easy wall splat and easy carry combo to the wall. His damage had gotten to good.
His aerial damage wasn't great, but his mini combos and wall combos were above average, especially when you consider how good he was at stealing turns(which got buffed in season 3, lol)

The character was always strong as hell and 5 or 6 extra dmg on his combos barely means anything, it's mostly the added flexibility that helps him.
You cant utilize Feng like you could with Leroy. Knee makes him look absurdly good because of his fundamentals and game knowledge.

You had Feng several months ago not on the top tier and now everything changed because a pro player won with him. We've seen this knee-jerk reaction (no pun) with JDCR's Dragunov, Qudan's Devin Jin, Knee's Paul and Steve and Arlsan 's Kazumi and the rest of the Pakistani's on 2D characters.
All it takes is a good player fundamentally to showcase how strong they are because even character specialist like Yuu isn't winning even with his Feng.
Nerfing the big 5 prior to this patch led Feng straight to the highest tier with Akuma and Zafina. Best to buff everyone else to their level rather than nerfing him.

As someone who picked Feng up in S2, I can definitely say that he is a strong character, but saying he is the best caharcter next to Akuma is a massive overstatment; Jin, Marduk, Paul, and Zafina are still better imo.
This video also doesn't adress Feng's weaknesses like his poor ws punishment and lack of approach tools, his ws1 being is best after snake dashing but it is steppable to the left (his weak side). His 50/50s are also only applicable in close range, ideally near a wall, which will be a little hard since he doesn't have a good wr move, electric, or jackhammer to do that (Feng's demon paw doesn't have Jin/DVJ pushback btw) so you'll have a hard time opening up a good turtle.
Where Feng truly shines is with his defense which complements his fast pokes, taking a lifelead before turtling up his good keepouts and evasion to force whiffs and punish, which requires good fundamentals and not as braindead as you think, unlike Leroy, Fahk, and Julia who have good offensive tools.
I agree that he needs nerfs and I'm happy that he received the first of a couple more nerfs, but calling him broken when Jin, Paul, and Marduk were basically untouched is insane. This is just a case of people just now realizing Feng's potential and are now using him more since everyone has been sleeping on him for years, especially since most of the moves covered in this video have been virtually the same since 1.0 except for maybe kenpo which got nerfed (in S2 ircc). Everyone's acting like Knee just now started using Feng when he literally used him years ago against JDCR, and speaking of JDCR, he's been playing Feng in his streams for a while now along with Miguel and Negan for fun.
Again, I agree that he needs some nerfs but y'all are overreacting, and having an emergency patch solely dedicated to Feng is just dumb. He is not as big of a problem or as complete of a character as some people make him out to be.
As someone who plays Paul, Jin and has dabbled with Marduk, I 100% completely agree. And don’t forget about Zafina.

I think D Jin got nerfed, he was broken too. So no, it's not just because Knee won. There's videos on Jin and D Jin being cheap too.

It’s basically the Akuma situation all over again. people thought Akuma was garbage for a long time, and then someone actually showed that the character is broken and peoples perceptions changed. Unfortunately, it’s even worse this time because the broken character does not require an immense amount of skill to be broken, meaning every sweaty loser and their grandma is going to be maining feng and trying to convince themselves that their not being carried.

I personally think Knee had just ascended to godhood at evo. He was almost untouchable and made feng look much more insane than he might be, mainly because feng has had a lot of this stuff since release. I know some people will make the comparison to akuma but its not the same. He has obviously does need some tuning though.
He also played a very minimalistic style of play with Feng. So many times I was wondering if he'd use any other moves or strategies but he kept it simple.

I can honestly the punch parry to full combo (not the move/framing) and uf 2 ch follow up is op and I have no problem having them removed.
But the rest isn’t that bad in terms of range since db 3 is launch punishable.
Feng is one the most aesthetically well created tekken characters ever and the synergy in his move list should be applauded and seen as fine example.

Feng has always been good and was only rated lower by popular players because of their own playstyles and experience. Most characters in the right hands will always be S tier. I would say Raven has also one of the best setups since tekken 7 release but just got overshadowed by so much character releases. I would even think she is better than Feng in this current sandbox.

Yep, he just complains about the top characters a bit too much. Namco is extreme in buffing but he’s completely at the other side of extreme nerf. He sounds like he wants all fengs strengths to be removed lol. He complained about devils jins wall combo which was fair enough but now it’s completely nerfed to the other extreme(from 26 damage to 10damage).

I've never had an issue with this character,although he's definitely top 5 it's not that hard to deal with him.Akouma is the real problem,I don't care about the execution,free d3 into a combo and Devil jin's hellsweep are busted moves.
I wouldn't say busted, just super strong. If dj hellsweep is broken then so is Anna's. Akuma I agree with though, d3 is definitely busted.
DVJ sacrifices good damage off a mid launcher for this hell sweep so it's ok

Apart from Heihachi I am a Feng main since Tekken 5. I stand with Feng.
In 2005 I started playing T4 and T5. I found Feng and used him to beat Mishimas at the time because everyone played them. They were strong for YEARS for no other reason than they were the title characters. Now Feng is good for 2 seasons but the Mishimas stayed on top for how long? F**k that nonsense. It's Feng wei's time. Tekken is about him now. Canonically it makes sense that a guy who trains so hard and runs through dojos to be the strongest fighter finally gets his day in 2022. Forget akuma and get him the hell outta this game, Feng wei ain't scared of him. Its about time. Press the nerfs and those who have always been Feng mains will go back to winning whatever matches we did with integrity. Wins weren't guaranteed by Feng, you just had to use his tools.

Feng's db1+2 into shoulder is only guaranteed on certain 'big' characters like King and Geese.
Otherwise it's a 50/50 mixup between stomp/shoulder, the latter of which you can avoid by staying on the ground and not moving.
Still think it needs to go. Because it is unneccesary. Speaking as a Feng Main x) Because even if you avoid the shoulder by laying grounded you STILL have to deal with oki even if shoulder needs its time to recover. It just doesn't feel good to have the option to either eat 26 damage or land in an Oki situation at the wall where Feng dominates you anyway. With the normal Wallcombo ender at least you can quickroll out of the wall which should be normally the case after eating 90+ damage.

ch db3 doesnt lead to any pressure btw..opponent's wake up low kick d3 beats everything. Safest thing to do as Feng is BT d4 wich pretty much leads to nothing in 90% of the cases. All the other things you mentioned were there since forever, kinda hilarious we have to thank Knee for letting the world know.. If they dont fix anything (and I honestly hope they dont) at least we'll see a TWT with some real tekken, instead of that bs 2d meta ;)

As a feng main i agree with a good amount of these changes to feng ,like making d+2 -13 on block , making db+3 do 6 less damage on CH,
Removing the broken wall combo when you spike the opponent (or making it do 15-17 damage) and removing some of built-in block frames from Kenpo step, but not the rest.
These things were there from the start. People will always complain about top tier which will always be present. You need a character and another character will emerge so you nerd character etc till the entire cast is trash and game becomes boring.
I think loyalists for Feng were emerging like Caiper that made him good to all since Feng Patches were not much about the issues mentioned. And he is not just a normal loyalists, he knows it too well too, just by watching youll learn wacky stuff. There are still much more stuff to discover from the game in this stage.
