That is a huge “ lucky cat” on the shelf just behind Lisa at Ramen Tatsu (1st restaurant) Thanks for visiting all three places that are in Chinatown. I have to be satisfied with my tonkatsu ramen from Costco.
@@billandlisaYou try never to be critical, owing to your channel's popularity. I like that. But, sometimes being a bit more frank just cannot be avoided, huh? NOT a fan of thick ramen noodles, sorry. I love pork though. Pig IS my favourite meat.
The 2nd place, Monta, to me, looked wonderful. The dashi looked soo creamy and flavorful. I do like the thicker noodles. The fried rice at the first two places looked awesome. What a great review and of the strip as well. Thank Bill and Lisa!❤ Happy 4th of July!❤🎉🎉🎉
Another great vegas video!!!❤❤❤ all the fried rice looked good😊 glad to see three ramen places to try!!! I love ramen but can't use chopsticks!! 😂😂😂 glad you had a great time trying these tasty ramens😊😊😊 I will have to try the fried rice❤❤❤ thanks for such a fun and great adventure in vegas❤❤😊😊
Thanks so much for this very informative VLOG. It gives me a first opinion on places I would probably not venture out to try without someone suggesting it and now that you''ve done the suggesting I will keep these eateries in mind when I crave some Ramen!!! Thank you Bill & Lisa for the eatery tips of Vegas. Aloha!!!
The couple on the world cruise (Channel: Living Phase 2) just did a video of Japan street food. You might find it interesting before your next Japan visit.
1st place: Everything you ordered looks very good. 2nd place: Appears to be much less meat and smaller bowl of Ramen. Smaller serving of fried rice. 3rd place: Very different Ramen than the other two, more meat and less Ramen noodles and broth. Wondering the name of the Japanese Rice you two buy and cook at home? I buy KOSHIHIKARI at Nakata Market of Japan.
This is Nami 😊Wow !! I am so Happy to see you guys at California Hotel in Las Vegas your guys looks much younger ❤ I hope you have fun and enjoy in Vegas l hope l will see you in Hawaii😊
Monta is fantastic and I’m not suprised it ended up at the top of your lis. It was created by James Beard Foundation winner Mitsuo Endo, who also has the restaurant Raku, which is a couple doors down from the Monta location in Chinatown. If you haven’t tried Raku, I recommend it. Be sure to try the chicken skewers.
Chinatown is awesome in Las Vegas ! Tonkatsu Ramen is my favorite ! Monta is a must try ! Love the sharing on the restaurants ! You guys are so honest & kind ! Love your vlogs !
Glad to know your ranking, I always went to Monta ramen every time I was in Vegas (unfortunately I am the only one in my family who enjoy ramen, otherwise, I would went there more often). Just wondering where I can find similar ramen in SoCal.
Ramen is my favorite food. I can eat it every day. I usually just go to Shinsengumi. My favorite Ramen restaurant was Ebisu in fountain Valley, but they’re closed now Thanks for the tips.
We’ve been to The Hat in Monterey Park. We compared it to Johnnie’s Pastrami, check it out here.. th-cam.com/video/WoD2KfbGBX0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GwkG5PrOIkhehRxG Haven’t been to Lucky Boy yet.
Agreed about the Maneki Neko, the greeting cat. BIG. Thanks again, you folks! BTW It's ton-kAtsu, not tonkotsu. Makes you sound "inakapoi" orlike a foreign yokel. Look it up.
Been to 2/3 of these ramen shops. Montana and Tatsu are neck and neck for me, preferring the shoyu type (Tokyo ). Tatsu has other great dishes, too. Thanks for reviewing all three locally owned places😊
Safe travels and God bless always enjoy yall selves which yall always do. 😊🙏💯 I like the cat that's behind u l would like to have a small one in my house.
That food looks really good, However you two Have a talent That I do not possess And that is the use of chop sticks , I have tried I can't seem to use them..
I enjoy your reviews of the restaurants in Las Vegas. Interesting that it’s common for people to order fried rice at a Japanese restaurant. I guess it’s not a Chinese thing…
Why do you keep calling the pork in the ramen char sui….the pork they use is more like a sliced pork roast…Char sui is barbecue pork usually red in color and sticky

Ramen terrific in any weather. Usually get medium spicy. Thin noodles. Spicy Edamame on the side. Yumm-o!! Keep 'em coming!
Woah! The best of breed ramen meal! That's a lot of noodles and rice in one morning/afternoon! Hoping there's still room for dinner!
You know it, Tim! LOL!! And, dessert too! 😋
Ramen Sora is my fav!! Monta was one of the og spots for ramen. Tatsu has a great menu, all three spots are great.
I was looking forward to seeing you having ramen at sora and monta one day! Now here it is😊 I enjoyed the video as always!
Loving the food tour comparisons ❤
This Ramen challenge was authentic all the way down to the slurping of the noodles, wonderful!

Stiff competition in that part of Vegas. You two are warriors for going to 3 ramen spots. Not easy to do.
Great review...they all looked delicious...have a great weekend and a safe fun 4th of July 🎉🎉🎉❤
Yum!! Love to see you show us some ramen spots. My mouth was just watering!!
So good!
Thanks Bill and Lisa for sharing all three places with us!!

Sojo Ramen on Jones and Warm Springs is very underrated ramen spot, our favorite
Try Fukumimi next time you’re in town. They have other types of bowls and food too!
Thanks for the rec!

Slurp slurp slurp.🍜🍜🍜. Monta ramen might be worth a try away from the strip. Thanks guys.
Any time!
Happy Sunday Bill & Lisa 😊
Happy Sunday, Christine!
love it thanks for showing us!
Ramen and gyoza day. Looks so good. Love a good ramen but gyoza and fried rice are my favs.
Thanks for showing us the off Strip locations too.
You're very welcome, Yvonne! Yes! Can't beat a good fried rice and gyoza combo!
Ramen looks so delicious! I don't know a good ramen in the South Bay? Gyoza too. You guys have all the fun!
There are a few in Gardena, check them out on Yelp.
Hope you can do a ramen crawl in Torrance and Gardena too.
Chinatown is awesome in Las Vegas ! Tonkatsu Ramen is my favorite ! Monta is a must try ! Love the sharing on the restaurants ! You guys are so honest & kind ! Love your vlogs !

Shin-Sen-Gumi Hakata Ramen in Gardena is pretty legit.
Omg. Ramen is Iris’s favorite! We’re definitely hitting one in two weeks when we go. Thank you so much!!!!!
Perfect timing on the video for Iris! lol. You're very welcome!

Hey Bill and Lisa
Have you tried the pastrami sandwiches at the hat in Pasadena or Lucky boy in Pasadena

We did look it up 🤣
The broth for tonkotsu ramen is based on pork bones, and tonkotsu (豚骨/とんこつ) in Japanese means "pork bones". Thanks Wikipedia!
That was a nice review. Hope you guys have a good 4th!🇺🇸
Hey Lisa!!!!! Hey Bill !!!!! ❤ 😊
Hello Daniel!
I was hoping there would be a Ramen place where you use a vending machine to buy your ramen ticket and get served in a booth from a curtain.
Been to 2/3 of these ramen shops. Montana and Tatsu are neck and neck for me, preferring the shoyu type (Tokyo ). Tatsu has other great dishes, too. Thanks for reviewing all three locally owned places😊

Seeing Lisa rock an Apple Watch Ultra in combination with all the food. Stay healthy y’all.

Sounds like I need to do a Progressive Ramen meal. Lol. Thanks for a great video.
You're very welcome, Carol!
I really liked Ramen Tatsu over Monta. Monta was good for a while and during covid went down hill.
Are you two ramened out? 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Yummy 🍜🥟🍜!
Love the Ramen
Not a big fan of Gyoza
Thanks for the video
👍👍
12 bucks for Vegas is reasonable.
Used to be must have Monta fans…now we only go to Ramen Boys on Decatur
Ramen Boys was #4 on our list, but only did 3. Will have to give them a try.
nothing like eating hot bowl Ramen on 110+ degree LV day
🍜🥢
Single serving ramen? Do they make a multiple serving size? I’m confused and I’ve been to Tatsu-it’s one of my favs in Vegas.
LOL! Think she was referring to those XL bowls.
I love ramen! Im weird about the goysa. I like Tabasco instead of the soy vinegar!😂
I like a chili oil with soy sauce personally. lol
Great reviews! Vegas may have more quality ramen shops than L.A.

Howdy!
To me, Monta looked the best, but not only have i never tasted ANY of them.. I ALSO live in the UK. So my opinion is useless 😂
LOL! Eat with eyes first, has to look good!
@@billandlisa it bloody did! 😍
I have yet to learn how to eat with chop sticks. 😊
We’re those egg noodles at the third place as opposed to rice or wheat at the other two?
Don't think they were, just had that yellowish color to it.
The first place is not good at all just went there and it was a waste of money

is Bill a pilot?
Nope.
