Some won Grammys with half her talent, she is incredible, the band is incredible.
she could sing the phone book and i'd still fall in love with her.
it perplexes me why this doesn't have millions of views
Help us share ;-)
It has always perplexed me why they haven't been BIG. They really deserve it.
This feels like it's from another time, another era, in some other, better, universe.
Exactly, it was the best combination. We still had McDuck but we also had Akie
Credit where credit is due: this audio and video production is incredible. The audio mix is on point, and the video is of the utmost quality. Great source material = great results, so hats off to everyone involved in making this for all of us to enjoy.
Thanks! Check out the related episode with band interviews www.vermontpbs.org/bardo/
Love a bit of LSD.If I was to be picky,Mikes guitar is either a bit out of tune(often is),or he's using the wrong effects.
That aside, great watching the band progressing..
@@MrSilverbirch It sounds like a Les Paul through a Vox AC30. When it's on the neck pickup it's not my favorite tone either. But I think it's the sound he was going for.
@@MrSilverbirch And not in a Beatles charming way...
kudos, a game production
Rachael is a Goddess. Bridget is one of the best bass players I've ever seen and the Mikes are awesome too. I have fallen in love with this band.
And don't forget "the fifth Beatle" Akie Bermiss! He's got a fabulous voice and has been a great addition to the band. :-)
His cover of Crazy Love is pretty wonderful.
indeed Rachel is everything, you might want to google Jaco Pastorius though.
David, igual q tú, me copó
Totally agree!
Favourite band. Her voice is unreal!

Cristobal, thanks for the trouble in indexing the show! Cool how you got those clickable links...
Any timestamp gets linked automatically - just write it in the format "minute:second" or "hour:minute:second"
how about breaking this into videos :)
Thank you
Héroe
I have never gotten used to how tasteful they all are; beat, lyrics, melodies, fills, and solos. Not many groups let me just sit back and smile for an hour and a half.
@@christopherinman6833 exactly what I just did
This band is certainly addictive: badass musicians, vocals that won't let you go and songwriting that is creative and intelligent, politically aware and an unadulterated celebration of all things human and divine. They rocked Pensacola. Again.
Too many people can't relate to this vibe,.. would be a lot cooler if more did❤🌺🔥🌌
@@chillyb4346 LSD just drives me......this is the musical drug
I'm a massive Bridget Kearney fan - I think she's a great songwriter as well as a great bassist (and singer), but the whole band is cooking here. Absolute class.
Absolutely one of my favorite bands!!!! Rachael Price is amazing and that's a gross understatement!!!!
This is definitely one of the best concerts ever filmed! Every aspect is perfect! The band is perfect! The sound is perfect! The video is perfect! A+ for everyone involved!
you should check out goose (jam band very similar to this but louder), video and audio quality is always top notch and they post so often and tour a lot
What i love about these cats is they keep getting better over time and they were awfully good to start with...
And here I thought it was all over.... What a breath of fresh air !
What a woman, What a band !
All the Best. Good Luck & God Bless.
Blown away by this group...just discovered today serendiopity at it's best!!Thanks u-4 +1
Stephen Colbert introduced this crew to the world over 10 years ago on 'The Colbert Report'. They stunned everyone then and continue to do that now. Bridget on bass is the core. Mikey on drums keeps them both solid and they both allow Rachael to just throat it out. And my God can she sing. But it does take a crew. Sad that McDuck left. Mike Calabrese and Akie B do fill the gap. They do need horns though. Dammit. This concert is incredible. Forget the Tay Tays of this world. This is REAL music. Just listen to the lyrics. Watch Bridget. See joy.
Rachel Price is a fantastic singer. Love her singing and wow her voice has changed so much since she started. I heard her sing in Oregon in 2013 singing Rich Girl cover.
So much love for all of you.Rachaels' amazing range and power turns the whole song into pure emotion, passion and convection. Perfect!
The bass player is as good or better than any other I have ever heard! Kudos!
She has to be one of the best bass guitarist I've seen and she is cute!
She is and everry thread I ever see people say that
Has anyone ever heard of Jaco Pastorius? I keep seeing these bass players (l lee-kbin) described as the greatest...cute but laughable
@Philthy Casual there are scores of female bass players, Tal Wilkenfeld, Esparanza Spaulding, Meshell Ndegeocello...I could go on, if you're seeking better.
@@N8russell ok boomer
Musta Been Something hits so perfectly. Such a high energy band and when they slow it down like that, it cuts like a knife.
What a great concert. I Love Lake Street Dive... thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it
I’ve always loved this amazing band, but after seeing them tonight at Interlochen, I’m a hopeless addict! Such interesting music, unbelievable talent and great flow to the show.
Thanks to PBS to get this amazing band out there. I originally loved them for a Hall and Oates cover (which you should check out) but all these original songs are just awesome. While Rachel can sing like no one else, the whole band works so well together. I mean, that bassist is the boss!
Thanks, glad you liked it! Be sure to subscribe to Bardo for more bands and please share the word #bardo
Christhorne3 - Her name is spelled Rachael.
Public radio isn’t reason these guys have talent, They are their own promoters
Briget on the BASS does so much for this group, she can get on that thing.~USA
Before i die i must watch this band live
You really do. It's between them and In This Moment for best live show I've seen.
Amazing band. Can’t wait for them to come to Australia🍷
They are wonderful live... performers in the true sense, focused, precise, and having a great time!
Love the vocals. Love the instrumentals. Hate the lights,
Driving jazz underpinnings. Complexity. Groovy.
Loved these folks for many years. Rachael, Bridget and Michael are so talented. They are so great in a live setting.
McDuck's guitar is superb, but his trumpet will transport you to whole new realms! But I didn't know how much they needed keyboards until Akie's graced the band. All of them are great.
I think the band works really well together. I dunno... his trumpet is sloppy sometimes - but it's kind of his groove. I think the addition of the keys was awesome.
They killed it in Raleigh. I mean totally destroyed. My wife was a lukewarm appreciator before the concert and will now cut anyone who says a word against LSD.
:D
I changed from an appreciator to a fan when I saw them live too. Different show, but still incredible.
Hilarious
Dude, that Shania Twain cover was out of this world! Were you down in the standing section right in front of the stage?
I wish, no we got there late so we were up on the left by the walkway. And yes, Akie is now my spirit animal.
Spectacular. Thank you Vermont and LSD
I see a lot of growth in the band. They just keep getting better and better.
Hard work ,dedication ...you guys are tight!
Band is beyond comparison
Just amazing to see and hear this poetry 🙏🙏
Very good, thank you for sharing!
Damn listen and look around theres all ways great music on youtube
Their arrangements and tight formation remind me of Hall and Oats or Squeeze. Maybe just evokes that era of good music.
She’s the Real Deal and so is the Group!
OH GOOD GOD! HOW GOOD IS THIS! 😍😍😍
Thanks! Check out the related Bardo episode with band interviews! www.vermontpbs.org/bardo/
Couldn’t agree more!!! Hello Bon! :)
hi ding! 😄
I agree. Besides loving Lake Street Dive, this is about the best TH-cam stream of them. The video is great and so is the audio. I'm listening with some Sony earplugs that are about 10 years old on an Android phone and it sounds great! What a voice too!
I found that song I was looking for = Call Off Your Dogs. And, ,again, a great band!
Now THIS is music!
Incredibly good. Especially the slower bluesier #'s....Rachael can melt you with the great backing vocals and band.
wonderful talented people...
Just absolute class and top notch musicianship.
SOOO GLAD I LISTENED TO THIS GROUP.
The. Best. Live. Shows. They're so much friggin FUN. I can't wait to see them again.
What a great show!
This band makes me mental in the best way. I cannot wait to see them in Charleston in March. What a soul train!
went to see them last year at the Bowl, they opened up for Trombone Shorty. pretty sure this is the best band making new music in America today.
I agree completely Jeff, best band recording today, when people of my generation insist there is no good music being produced today I point them right to Lake Street.
Jeff Andersen we have seen both Trombone Shorty and LSD ... and to see them together at the Bowl was sooo great! That night was an amazing night of music! Just saw LSD at the Wiltern in Los Angeles ....and decided we are a pit group, husband and young son....Troubadour was a treat when they just started out!
Well there's a stacked lineup if I've ever heard one. No such thing as a bad show by either of those artists.
They opened for Trombone? That must have been one heck of a night of music!
I just discovered this AWESOME band today. Thank you to TH-cam for recommending them.
this is one of the best bands on the planet....
Late finderouterer, but I'm on board now! Truly, join me in joining the THE CLUB. Just fantastic!
Just 'turned on' to this group by a friend last night. I am hooked! Great music!
Great Band! I love it when the Band members sing the backing and chorus!!! Would be Ace to get them on the Jools Holland Show UK !!! tight band!
Very talented and very much doing their own thing.
The lyrics "There've been so many nights when I've longed for your touch, There've been so many days when our love was not enough- I can't stress enough how sad and powerful that is. You have to have gone through this to understand
I hope they come to Brazil one day! *sob
Excellent players, one and all. Lead singer is wonderful...top notch. Singing drummer is amazing, how does he do that? I love every band member. Hope you go far!
This Band right here. Sooo good
Start to finish....
Razor sharp, picture perfect and clear as glass!
Awesome job!
Love it!
Thank-you!
The best band out right now!
Out of all the incredible moments in this performance, Rachael's voice at 40:55 through the end of "Hang On" is an absolute standout. LSD has to be the most collectively talented band out there today, and they somehow keep getting better year after year.
Fantastic production. Thanks team for putting this together and sharing. Cameras/switching/edits, lights, audio mix- you folks killed it! And obviously LSD killed it too (which makes your job so much easier). Congrats on this superb final cut.
They're getting better and better
Amazing talent, unique sound, always fun listening !!
Great band! That bass player is the real deal!
I want to see them live so bad holy hell, they are just immaculate & raw & soulfull
TH-cam's "Recommended For You" recently pointed me to LSD - and were they spot on! Absolutely love this band! While Rachael Price's voice is what initially caught my ear - hearing her wail on Dude brings chills - the harmonies, musicianship and songwriting are all outstanding. Can't wait for them to come back to the PacNW!
they should win a grammy!!!!
WHAAAAT. Bridget killing it at 26:10 !!!!
oh yeah!! :D
I LOVE the NEW SONGS ! thanks PBS of Vermont! great Audio and camera work
Better than is amazing. What a awesome harmonization and time sig change!
Goodnight "Princes of Maine, and Kings of New England!"
Vermont? What movie did this line come from memory? Guess now: Michael Caine film about abortion and he said this to kids before they slept. I mix film with Rachael moves and singing style because I feel a need to connect her with Rita Hayworth. Let's cast her in a movie, bassist too, Bridget. Maybe they already have, Anyone know?
They just keep getting better.
tight unit..."So What" by Rachel was my intro to her when she was still in high school (it's on youtube - don't miss it)
what a woman! what a band!
Oh man I love the sound and feel of genuine music (made on the spot by the musician/artist).
Loved every second of it!
You really sangin this...yesssssss!!!
Fantabulous!!!
This band is the biggest treat in the world!!! They are so freakin interesting, entertaining, and im amazed at their contiuned reinvention of themselves! Ive recently discovered LAKE SIDE DIVE and im now a fan for life!!! Great show!
Die beste Band die ich seit langem gehört habe. Absolute Weltklasse.
47:17 she gave him that look of "boy why you come in early with that lick?!"
Super song, well-performed!
Lake street drive est un groupe très rare ...soul à merveille avec une qualité musicale très rare et unique ....j en ai les larmes aux yeux tellement c'est beau .de ces groupes de," faux semblant " pour moi c'est a dire qu ils viennent d une autre dimension
These guys are AWESOME
Just FIVE pickers playing...no bullshit...no supplemental tracks... Just talent. Everything talent should be.
Oh god! I'm falling in love! Wonderderful !
banda massa viu.....
Wow!! I fell in love with this band just by hearing a demo on Best Buy for Bose Speakers.. my favorite is Mistakes, now I'm into seeing her concerts on my computer.. thank LSD .. many blessing
El Paso, Texas
I wish they stood closer together on stage. Otherwise... bliss..... What a good band they are, and all those new songs. I'm in heaven.
For new fans of LSD, crank up the bass and listen to Bridget Kearney on upright bass. She is a joy.
For the nerds, count the stompboxes at Bridgets feet on the vid at 44:38 More than a couple I guess.
I'm high on LSD.... has a completely new meaning now! ;) Loving the sound and the songs of this band!
I'm passing by...but cannot leave this incredible and wonderful person with such great talent - and sweetness! What a grand, grand group! Fan talking! Love you-all.
Great to see You Are Free on the set list.
Muito bom!
Mike Calabrese is a friggin beast. Saw them in Atlanta this year, similar set. Best concert ever!
What a great band, what a sound. But that voice, is gold.
Yes it is.
The best!
Absolutely spectacular, every minute brings an incomparable thrill. Thank you for posting!
